The National Autistic Society: Sharon McDaid: 'My Experience And Charity Support'
In this week's episode Amy & Kirsty speak to Sharon McDaid from the National Autistic Society.
Her son, who was diagnosed Autistic very young is now in his 20s and so Sharon shares her experience of raising him in a time where there was a lot of discussion around vaccines being a concern and also very little help and support.
She also gives some great advice and tips to other parents at the start of their journey that she has learnt along the way.
Sharon who now works as a Specialist Lead for the National Autistic Society helps us to navigate the NAS website and gives us some helpful tips on where to get vital support and guidance.
