Leona Smith: 'The Hardest Part For Me Is When Arthur Is Ill, As He Can't Tell Me What's Wrong'
On this week’s episode of Love Needs No Words Amy & Kirsty are joined by Leona Smith who is Mum to two children, Emmie and Arthur.
Arthur has Autism and is non-speaking and Leona has been sharing his journey through her Instagram page @leonajadesmith.
Leona talks openly and honestly about Arthur’s initial diagnosis and how that made her feel, his global Developmental Delay and what that means.
His relationship with his sister and how that is blossoming, the transport to his school and the fear that came with that, the struggle she feels when Arthur is unwell as he can't explain what is wrong and finally the words she would say to herself if she could go back to the early days.
