Welcome to no Guts, no Gain. Our mission is to help individuals potentially like yourself, who are either in a job, between jobs, make the decision to jump into entrepreneurship, to be a business owner and control their own future and their own destiny. Hi, I'm Dave Mattson, executive Chairman and President of Franchising here at Sandler. I've interviewed Sandler business owners, franchisees who are in the same position that you're in today, making that life altering decision of entrepreneurship. I've asked them five basic questions. One, what was your background? Did you come out of the military? Were you traveling and didn't really know anyone in your backyard? Did you ever train before? How about sold or even managed people?

Number two, what was your experience throughout the whole process in dealing with Sandler and fact-finding, talking to successful franchisees, talking to clients? What were some of the challenges that they had and successes throughout that whole process? And then, equally as important, now that they are entrepreneurs, what are your challenges and successes that you're currently facing, now that you're past that investigative phase? If you were to do it again, what would you do differently? That's my third big question, and that's important, right, because I always love to learn from others who are ahead of me. Finally, I'm going to ask them. What type of business did you want or have you built? Some are individual entrepreneurs, some have support people, others have built an organization with salespeople and trainers, and those decisions are all personal decisions that they have made. So learn from others who have made that journey ahead of you. Subscribe now on your favorite platform and you'll be notified of all upcoming episodes. Until we see each other good selling.
