The Story Steward Show
I believe every writer is called to put Christ at the center of their work.
Too many creatives try to carry that calling alone. We push harder. We build routines. We try to stay disciplined enough to make something meaningful happen. And yet we still feel anxious, tired, and scattered.
We were never meant to do this by ourselves.
I’m Justice Tilsher, and I’m convinced the only lasting peace in a creative life comes through surrender to Jesus Christ. Not hustle. Not pressure. Surrender.
We were created for two things.
To love the Lord our God.
To love our neighbor and make disciples.
I believe our stories can be an act of worship that does both.
This show is for Christian writers who want to write with peace, freedom, and surrender. Writers who want their work to flow from their faith, not their fears.

Episode 27 - The Gollum Effect: How Side Characters Reveal the Truth Your Hero Wants to Avoid
Use Left/Right to seek, Home/End to jump to start or end. Hold shift to jump forward or backward.
In this episode, we’re heading to Mordor.
But not to follow Frodo.
We’re chasing Gollum.
Because every great story has a mirror, a character who reflects your hero’s deepest fear, secret sin, or buried desire. And Gollum? He’s a caution sign. A whisper of what Frodo could become if he gives in.
Today, we’ll explore how to use supporting characters to expose your protagonist’s inner battle, and how reflection, contrast, and temptation can turn a good story into a legendary one.
