Breaking free from Self Sabotage with Katie Bambrick

Jaclyn Season 1 Episode 18

In this powerful episode, Katie opens up about her personal story to overcoming self-sabotaging behaviors, sharing relatable stories of how low self-esteem, sensitivity, being self critical, feeling anxious and how a deep-seated feeling of “never being enough” shaped her life.

Katie is vulnerable and raw in this conversation, telling us how she is fed up with  her own bullshit, coming to the realization that she was the common denominator in her struggles and how blaming external circumstances only held her back. Katie reflects on the survival patterns rooted in her subconscious and how they manifested, particularly in romantic relationships with emotionally unavailable partners.

Drawing inspiration from transformative books like You Can Heal Your Life by Louise Hay and You Are a Badass by Jen Sincero, and diving into therapy, Katie shares how she broke free from negative thought loops and built deep self-trust.

Still finding herself attracted to emotionally unavailable men, despite her inner work and transformation, led Katie to rewiring her subconscious mind using hypnosis and Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP).
