I was outside recently, working in the garden, hands in the dirt, pulling weeds, trimming back what had overgrown, and preparing the soil for new growth.

And as I stood there, God reminded me… This is what healing looks like. It is Not always glamorous, immediate and sometimes messy, uncomfortable and exhausting. It is still necessary.

You cannot plant new seeds in soil that is crowded with weeds. You cannot expect healthy fruit while feeding toxic roots.

You cannot ask God for peace while continuing to water chaos.

Sometimes we want the blessing without the pruning. We want the harvest without the preparation. We want peace without surrender.

But God works differently. He asks us to trust the process and release what no longer serves us. Let go of bitterness. Let go of fear.

Healing is often found in the small daily choices.

Faith.
Physical movement.
Mindset.

Those three pillars matter, just like gardening, consistency matters more than intensity. No one weeds a garden once, and expects perfection forever. It requires tending. Daily.

  • So does your peace
  • So does your mind
  • So does your faith
  • So does your healing

Maybe today, God is asking you not to do more… but to remove more.

Pruning is not punishment. Pruning is preparation.

God removes what threatens your growth.

Sometimes what feels like loss… is actually protection.

What needs to be uprooted?

What have I been holding onto that God has been asking me to release?

What needs to be cleared so new life can grow?

Whatever it is… give God permission to tend the garden because there is beauty coming.

Thank you for joining me today on Sunday Solace for Midlife Transformation.

If this episode spoke to your heart, share it with someone who may need the reminder that growth often begins with letting go.

And if you are ready for deeper support through one-to-one coaching, I would love to help you identify what is keeping you stuck and help you create your next right step forward.

Remember… No one is exempt from struggle, but transformation is within reach.

Until next time—

Keep choosing faith
Keep moving your body
Keep protecting your mindset

And keep making space for what God is growing.

Have a beautiful Sunday, friend.
