In today's micro-episode we're talking about 'Confident Communication'.

I found the timing of this topic a bit hilarious, but that’s a different podcast altogether, so let’s get right into it, because you  may be experiencing this right now.

You’re doing the work.
 You’re delivering results.
 You’re showing up consistently.

But when it comes to growth, promotion, or new opportunities…
 things feel unclear.

And you’re sitting there wondering—
Am I being developed… or delayed?

Let's set one thing straight, if you work for someone, 

Your supervisor cannot act on what you haven’t clearly communicated.

We assume they see our effort.
 We assume they know our goals.
 We assume they’ll connect the dots.

But they don’t know what you don’t say.

And that’s where confident communication becomes a career strategy—not just a soft skill.

Communication is the only clear way to announce your intentions.

If you want growth… say it.
If you want leadership opportunities… say it.
If you’re ready for the next level… say it.

This week, I want you to do something different.

Schedule a direct growth conversation.

And don’t keep it vague. Be specific.

Ask:
 • “What specific results or competencies would position me for promotion?”
• “What opportunities can I lead in the next 90 days to demonstrate readiness?”

Then—this is key—
Document the response.

Because clarity creates accountability.
