The answer is both practical and surprisingly insightful, touching on everything from unexpected power outages to sudden health department interventions. It's a blend of comedy and curiosity that not only entertains but also reminds us of the importance of being prepared for the unexpected. The person you're trying to reach is unavailable, but the Scotty Don't X Show is here for you. Welcome to episode number 30. I'm kidding, I'm kidding, I'm actually here. Scotty Don't X Show number 30. Thank gosh, I am not releasing these on a daily cadence on a daily cadence. Otherwise, this would be a month's worth of shows, or just slightly under or just slightly over, depending on the month. Wow, that was almost a word salad.

Speaker 1:

Can I be a professional talk person? Oh wait, I was 1550k van 30 plus years ago. Maybe, if I find my air check tapes from that time, I will force you all to listen. I want to say a big thank you to those of you who are listening, and for those of you who aren't listening, you're wrong. If you're a podcaster and you're listening to this, send me an email. If you're a podcaster and you're listening to this, send me an email, scottydontx at gmailcom, so I can give your podcast a shout out. Maybe I help drive one person to your show and they tell two people and they tell four people 8, 16, 32, 64, 128, 256. You get the idea? Yeah, okay, so we're going to play two stupid one smart For these questions I've dug out of the troll pits on the internet. When sign makers go on strike, what do their signs say? Sign makers they're going on strike, pretty clever, and their signs will say anything they want to, because sign makers can make their signs before they strike. I'm pretty embarrassed for humanity that I have to answer that one.

Speaker 1:

If one synchronized swimmer drowns, do the rest have to drown too? No, because that one swimmer made a mistake, had an incident. It was not planned, so that's not going to be part of their synchronized program. I guess a nicer way to put that. If one swimmer encounters difficulties and needs assistance, the other swimmers are trained to react quickly and safely. They may perform rescue or signal for help from lifeguards. The goal is always to ensure the well-being of all swimmers involved. That one swimmer does drown it's not part of the synchronized planned presentation and as such the person may be labeled, not a team player, for having drowned.

Speaker 1:

With synchronized swimming, the show does not go on. If one of them are in trouble, the rest of them are going to respond to the best of their ability. Oh, let's do synchronized swimming, but one of our people dropped out, so we're no longer synchronized. Bummer, that's going to cost us some points. And now we get to the smart question If 7-Eleven is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week, why is there a lock on the door?

Speaker 1:

Well, emergency situations. In case of emergency, such as power outage or natural disaster, employees may need to secure the store and temporarily close it. Lock allows them to do so quickly and easily. Example being shut down by legal means. Health department shuts them down for letting rats have a log rolling contest on the big bites, or the independently owned and operated franchisee goes bankrupt and cannot continue operations at the store. It's going to be locked up until it is under new management, sold or returned to the Southland Corporation. To the best of my information, you've been listening to the 30th anniversary show of the Skydivo Next Show. When is the next show? When it gets broadcast. By broadcast we mean uploaded to the podcast host, obviously.
