Tomorrow night, I will be staying up until midnight to watch the wedding episodes. Is it just one or is it just or is it two? I think it's maybe just one and then the reunion. Very curious to see what happens with Tyler and the three kids, all of that drama that is unfolding on the internet.

By the way, I love that between episodes, we're all just scouring Reddit and Instagram and TikTok to find, you know, updates and spoilers. I just think it makes the show so much fun. Crossing my fingers that Garrett and Taylor get married.

They seem like the only solid couple, right? I am excited for the reunion. We will see what happens. Quick shout out to my sponsor, Lue by Jean Seo.

Last episode, it ended with Paul asking Willie, are you ready to get married? So Paul says, so are you ready? And Willie says, for what? And Francesca laughs. Victoria says to get married. Paul says, I mean, are you sure? Are you going to man up? And this tense music plays and Paul says, or will you be leaving Francesca at the altar? Willie says, I'm nervous.

Fran says, he's no more nervous than me. Paul says, I don't know. Fran asks, you don't know? Paul says, no, because you keep it together pretty well.

Francesca says, well, if I didn't want to get married, I wouldn't be here. In a talking head, Francesca says, nobody's forcing us. Francesca says to Paul, go on, tell him your plans, please.

Willie says, you're getting married too? Paul says, no way. Willie says, four-way wedding? Francesca says, they're planning on ruining our wedding. Paul says, well, when they ask if anyone objects, Victoria says, Paul's going to get up.

And Paul raises his hands and says, I'll say, I do. Willie says, smiling, so if I'm not good, you'll take her away? And they both say, yes. Willie says, don't add to the pressure.

Paul tells camera, I can tell he's not sure, like he does still doesn't believe it. But the time has come, and he's going to have to face the music. Back at the table, Willie asks Paul, okay, Paul, be honest.

How do we seem to you? Because it's one of the things how we see ourselves, and another how you guys see us from the outside. Paul says, well, I can tell there's a connection, and you look comfortable and relaxed. Francesca says, we really are.

Paul says, I don't feel like either of you are nearing the end yet, but that could be where you're both headed, and the scene ends there. I don't know. Can you imagine having your friends and family on a show, and you're just like trying to sell this stranger to them? I don't know.

I think that would be embarrassing. I don't know if I could do that. I have pretty strong opinionated family and friends.

I think I would just want to melt in my seat and die. All right. So now we're in Karen and Fernando's apartment.

So they're getting ready to meet Karen's family. They're both in towels getting ready. Fernando holds up a cream-colored jacket and says, do you like it? Black shirt with the white? Yeah.

You approve? Karen says, mm-hmm. Fernando in a talking head says, today is super important because I'm meeting Karen's family, which means I'm meeting her daughter, Emmy, too. I'm nervous because today is going to be the defining factor for a lot of things.

We see Karen and Fernando walk into a restaurant and approach a table with Karen's mom, Karen's daughter, and Karen's sister. Karen puts her hands out and says, my baby. And her daughter, Emmy, jumps into her mom's arms.

Karen's sister gets up and says to Fernando, nice to meet you. Fernando says, likewise. Karen's mom gets up and Fernando says, hello, ma'am.

Very nice to meet you. Karen's mom, whose name is Lucia, tells camera, I was nervous. I am still nervous.

Karen's mom says, I need to hug my little girl. And Karen's mom, sister, and Emmy all hug Karen together and cry. Lucia asks Karen, are you happy? Karen says, yes.

Lucia says, that's great, honey. Karen says in a talking head, my mom knows if I'm with someone, it's because it's good for me. Karen says to Emmy, this is Fernando.

Fernando says, hi, Emmy, how are you? Emmy says, good. Fernando says, it's nice to meet you. And hands Emmy a bouquet of flowers and says, this is for you, sweetie.

Emmy takes the flowers and says, thank you. Fernando says, how are you feeling? Emmy says, good. He says, are you nervous? She says, yeah.

And Fernando laughs and says, me too. Lucia says, I was worried about my baby since I haven't seen her. Fernando says, these are for you, just a little something.

He hands her a box of chocolates. Lucia says, I was telling her how difficult I found it. Emmy, in an interview with producers, says, I think they have a strong connection

They seem really close. Back at the table, Karen tells Emmy, you're the most important thing in the relationship. And that's why we want you to be happy and feel comfortable and to meet Fernando.

We want you two to get along. Are you up for that? Emmy nods and says, I got you a gift, but I forgot it. And the whole table laughs.

Karen's sister says, Emmy, does your mom look happy? Emmy says, yeah, you did your hair. Emmy is shading her mother at any given moment. It's so cute.

And she's such a doll, too. Lucia chimes in and says, she did. Fernando says in an interview, Emmy's an incredible little girl.

She has really kind eyes. She seems very happy and relaxed. We hit it off from the start.

Back at the table, Karen's sister asked Fernando, so what do you do? He says, I work in hospitality and real estate. Karen's mom says, do you have any kids? He says, no. She says, do you want kids? Fernando says, well, that's something for... Lucia interrupts and says, you still haven't talked about it? He says, well, for now, we're in no rush.

And we'll think about it at some point. Fernando says, would you like that, Emmy? And Emmy nods her head and smiles. Karen says, a brother or a sister? Emmy says, that depends.

Karen says, on what? Emmy says, on how well they behave. Karen says, well, what if they're naughty? Emmy says, you can return it. And everyone laughs.

I told you guys, Emmy's a little Chelsea Handler. She's roasting everyone. Karen's mom says, do you live alone? Fernando says, I live on my own.

She said, it's good that you and Karen have had some time, just the two of you in your apartment. So for now, you know how to cohabitate with each other. Because right now, everything is all rosy.

Fernando says, yeah, that's right. Lucia says, you got to take it step by step. I mean, you do seem great right now, but let's just hope it stays that way.

Lucia tells Camera, when the time comes, they might decide not to tie the knot. Lucia says to Karen, you know what? He really looks a lot like my dad. Your bone structure is very similar.

Karen, it's great that you found a partner. Fernando says, yes. Lucia says, now you just need to move forward, love each other, and support each other through the good and the bad.

Karen says, thank you. And then the scene ends. We go to the next scene, and where we see Willie and Francesca's apartment.

Willie's talking to Camera, and it seems really tense, you guys. So it says, Willie says to Camera, when they told me the wedding date, I panicked. Willie sitting on the couch with Francesca says, I didn't think it would feel like this. I thought I'd feel more calm, more complete, more myself.

Curious about what keeps my skin glowing? Well, I'm ready to finally spill. My go-to is Lue by Jeans Seo. Why? Because Lue is a game changer. It's a woman-owned, eco-friendly, and non-toxic skincare brand that's all about clean beauty. That's why I love Lue. Their products are ethically sourced, made in the USA, never tested on animals. That I'd be enjoying myself more, and I'm not kidding. I'm like this all the time. I'm just doing stupid shit all day.

Francesca says, So what was your initial plan when you started the experiment? Willie says, Well, because I wanted to get married and build a life with someone. Fran says, With someone? That's the thing? Willie says to Camera, I got apprehensive and I got nervous. Fran says, That's fear.

That's okay. It's not just about a phone call with your parents or because you know the wedding date. It wasn't about meeting my parents or Mila.

It was all of it. Willie tells Camera, I've been more off than I can chew, and I honestly can't deal with all these emotions I'm feeling. It's keeping me from getting to know Francesca.

We hear a knock at the door. It's Fernanda and Gerardo. Both couples sit on the couch.

And Willie says, I've talked about this to Gerardo and Francesca, but I feel like I'm... Gerardo says, What is it? Willie says, Like a little paper boat. Like if the wind blows to the left, I go to the left. If it blows right, I go to the right.

If it blows backwards, I go back. And it's a problem I've been wanting to improve. And I want to give my life some direction because I feel like I don't know where I'm going compared to other people.

Francesca gets up and says, I need to use the bathroom. Willie says, No, no, stay. No, no, don't go.

Fernanda says, Are you crying? Willie continues. And Gerardo was really sweet and gave me that card saying that I'm not a paper boat. Francesca tells camera, The message is that Willie has to take command of his boat, and obviously it was what he needed to hear.

Willie says, But today I got off the boat. Few hours ago, I spoke with Francesca and I decided this isn't for me. Willie says, It made me sad to see how emotional she was after hearing my decision to let her go.

I'm sad I couldn't do more. Really, I am. Francesca has been so honest and open with me.

I still have a lot of growing to do, a lot of evolving. My whole life has been an emotional roller coaster, and I'm just not used to the ups and downs. I don't let myself feel things.

I don't fall in love. Fernanda says, So this is a first for you. Willie says, Yes, the highs and lows.

Fernanda says, But that's just how it is. Gerardo asks, So your emotions, they freak you out. Willie says, Yeah.

Gerardo tells Camera, He's never let himself feel this much, and I scares him, I think. Fernanda says, Do you know how I see Francesca? She has a sense of direction, total clarity. And yeah, I can see why that would scare you.

Francesca says, crying, That's what I said to him. This has happened a million times, and I won't stop being me. Fernanda says, No, you cannot stop being who you are.

Francesca tells Camera, As soon as he realized the date for the wedding was set, he started panicking. And he went into his old habits, and he's so afraid what his mom will say. He's starting to think like, How can I marry someone I just met on the show this quickly? Listen to me.

I do not want to, because I didn't make this decision. Willie hugs Francesca and says, I'll stay the night tonight. Let's just see how we feel tomorrow.

Willie says, After everything's settled, we decided to hit the reset button and start over again. We're going to take things day by day, go back to being as present as we can, and enjoy this process. Oof, you guys.

Things are getting really tense. So now we're back at Renee and Iris's apartment. We see them getting ready for a meeting at Renee's parents' house.

Ooh, this was a... This is one of those... This was like a Ramses. If you're watching Love is Blind USA Season 7, this was like a Ramses meeting Marissa's parents. No, actually just his mom.

This was the level of tense that we experienced there. This was pretty rough. So like, yeah, let's go and start this scene.

So we see them getting dressed for the meeting, and Iris is putting on mascara. Renee is getting dressed. They leave the apartment, and we see them walking to his parents' door.

Renee's dad says, Hello, son. Renee says, Let me introduce you to Iris. Iris says, Nice to meet you.

Renee says, This is my mom, Miriam, and my dad. And the dad's also name is Renee, so I might refer to him as Renee Sr. Iris says, Holding a bouquet of flowers. I brought these for you.

Miriam says, Thank you. They're beautiful. Iris says, Nice to meet you.

Miriam says, You too, sweetheart. Renee says, Oh, my sisters. Two young women in black leather walk in.

Let me tell you, these girls, Priscilla and Cynthia, they're Renee's sisters. Thigh-high boots. They looked amazing.

Jet black hair, red lips, like the whole makeup done. Accessorized. They looked really good.

And honestly, I think Renee needs his own reality show because he, everybody in his family is quite a character. Miriam says in a talking head, I don't like people who think they're entitled. I like genuine people.

And so I guess I'm just wondering, were producers trying to bait her to get her to say something like that? Like, oh, what if she stuck up? You know, would you like that? Or how would you react? Because at this point, she had never, they hadn't even, you know, met. I'm assuming this was before. But anyway, Renee tells his dad and sisters, I don't think either of you knew.

I think only mom knew. We took part in an experiment where the goal is to choose a partner based only on their personality and not their looks. And well, that's where I met her.

That's it. You might think it's a little strange. Renee's dad says, Is this a reality show? Renee says, Yes, it is.

The point is to connect with someone because of their personality, not their looks. Renee's mom says, So what is it you liked about my son? Ira says, I really liked his confidence, which always made me feel calm. Ira says to camera, There's an element of surprise and uncertainty from his family.

And well, it's understandable, you know? Renee's sister asks, How many strong connections did you have? Ira says, Well, you had a lot. Then the number got smaller and in the end you had three. And then the sister goes, So in the end it was always about Renee? Ira says, Yes, in the end, yes.

And you decided on the last date? Ira says, Yes, the last date. He was actually my first date. Renee says, Yeah, she was my first and last date.

And we also fought at one point. His sister says, Why did you fight? Renee says, Because I like to drink. And Ira says, And I don't.

Renee's mom says, Well, keep that in mind. It's not a small thing. His sister says, Yeah, you should.

I mean, you don't like drinking, but do you have a problem with Renee drinking? Ira says, No, I mean, the problem was precisely that I didn't want to have a partner who had issues with alcohol. Renee says, We talked it out. Ira says, And it was one of the things that really tested us.

Renee's sister Priscilla says to camera, She needs to take that into account because I, for one, don't want my brother to change the way he is just because she doesn't like it. Renee's mom says, Well, the times I've seen my kids drinking, I mean, when they're having a drink, they've never been... Renee's dad's chimed in and says, Argumentative? Miriam says, Well, what's the word? Alcoholic. Renee says, By the way, all four of the family members are like chugging sangria while this meeting is happening.

Renee says, Well, I'm a well-behaved drunk. Iris tells camera. It's worrying that they reaffirmed Renee's love of alcohol.

I said the same exact thing. I was like, Hmm, okay. That means everybody in the family probably drinks too much and they're just kind of... That's their norm.

Renee's sister says, What was the goal of the experiment? Renee says, To find love. Renee's sister says, But you can find love anywhere. Renee said, Yeah, but this is just based on personality.

This is like the third time he said that, by the way. I was just like, Oh my God. Okay, they're not getting it.

Or they just... See, this is what I'm saying. I would have walked out. I don't think I could handle 10 situations like this.

I would be screaming inside. Iris says, Well, for me, the beauty of the experiment is that you don't have to lie about anything because you have no idea who was on the other side. You don't feel like you have to impress them or lie to them.

You might see them and like them and think that you'll say yes. You're honest about what you're looking for and if the other person is looking for the same things. I mean, yeah, it might be too soon for you.

But to be honest, you have no idea how intense the experiment was and what they put us through. You can't possibly understand. If I were in your shoes, of course I'd say it's too soon.

But I've shared things with her that I've never shared with anyone else before. Cynthia, Renée's sister, says, I understand that he's made a strong connection with Iris and he feels like he's in love. I don't doubt that.

I just think they should take a little bit more time. Renée says, From the moment I met her in the pods, I knew she was the one for me. We would talk about everything.

We also disagreed on things. But we're both willing to be open and resolve our issues because we've already talked about her being a team. That's what's important.

Renée's dad says, That's good. Renée's sister, Priscilla, tells camera, Renée is taking things too fast. Cynthia says, Do you think you would have chosen Renée outside of the experiment? And the tense music plays and it goes to the next scene.

So we now see Gerardo, Fernanda, Willy and Francesca at the wall climbing gym. Fernanda says, We invited Willy and Francesca because they mirror us. Gerardo is really similar to Francesca and I'm really similar to Willy in a lot of personality traits.

We see Willy and Fran rushing up to the wall and Fernando and Gerardo cheer them on. Willy tells camera, I think I was being too serious and I was focusing on the future too much. And I forgot that a relationship can also be about having fun and feeling lighthearted.

And I lost sight of that. But today I got it back. Back at Renée's house and we had left off where Cynthia is asking Iris, Do you think you would have chosen Renée outside of the experiment? Iris says, I don't think I would have approached him precisely because of the drinking thing.

Like, I don't think we could have ever crossed paths or been in the same circles. Like, I never would have dated someone who hit on me in the club or a party or something. Priscilla says, I just don't want Renée to change who she is, who he is, because that is ultimately what defines him.

He's outgoing. He's the life of the party. He brings the vibe because that's who we are, the Angeles family.

Okay, so I just get the feeling they're like the type of like family that, you know, they get kicked out of restaurants, you know, because I don't know, like the entree like got brought out cold or something. Allegedly. Back in the living room, Renée's mom says, I want to tell you something just to give you the heads up.

He really pampers his sisters a lot, and I hope you're not the jealous type. Iris says, no, never. His mom says, because it happens.

Oh, and he really likes to spoil them. Iris says, I totally understand. I think I'd feel the same way if I was her because I'm a stranger.

Iris says, well, actually that's one of the things we have in common is our family values. In a talking head, Iris says, at that point, I was cutting off the circulation of Renée's hands. I was gripping them so tightly his hand was turning blue.

Renée's sisters say, Iris, do you want kids? She says, not for now, not now. But you're open to the possibility? Iris says, it's not one of my priorities. Cynthia says, so you'd be okay if my brother didn't want kids? Iris says, yeah, we actually kind of talked about that.

And it was actually the other way around. I asked him, what if I never want to have kids? And he said, actually, that was fine. And if I wanted to, that's also fine.

But I told him, I'm just not sure I want to take on that responsibility. And if you guys remember, Iris will be the caregiver for her brother. So I think when her parents pass they're not able to.

So I think she's already thinking, like, I already have a lot on my plate. So I don't know if, you know, I want to have a child too. Renée says, for now, there won't be any surprises because as she knows, and mom knows, I'm not sure if dad knows, but I got a vasectomy.

So there won't be any surprises here. We're still able to have kids, but it would just have to be planned. Renée tells camera, now this is Renée Sr. Renée Sr. tells camera, for us as parents, it's a dream to have grandkids.

And we think it's important. Unfortunately, the younger generation, they just don't feel the same way. Renée says, okay.

And lastly, I wanted to let you know that December 6th is the date of the wedding. Wait, isn't the experiment all about meeting and getting to know each other first? Renée says, yes. Priscilla says, do you have any idea what you're saying? Of course, he says.

You're getting married? Renée says, yes. Priscilla says, what about you? Ira says, yes, I'm aware. And I don't want to put too much pressure on him.

Mariam says to camera, we became tense and nervous because we weren't expecting it. It's too soon. We thought the show is just about meeting her, you know? And now they have a date for the wedding.

I can't believe this. I mean, at the end of the day, you do what you want. It's your choice.

Priscilla says, I mean, yeah, it's not like we can cheer them on, mom. But that's way too soon. I mean, I can't believe this.

You know perfectly well that everything happens in stages and you have to pass the honeymoon phase. It's been three weeks. How can you want to get married? Have you lost your mind? Renée says, that's what I'm trying to tell you.

Priscilla says, yeah, that's my point, is that you're barely getting to know each other. And Renée says, there are things about me that you don't even know. Cynthia says, going from strangers to being a couple to now being married, I mean, wow, are you kidding me? It's too soon to get married, in my opinion.

But we're your family, obviously we'll support you. And then she has to like make a smirk and goes, but I can be your Dubois lawyer too. Cynthia tells camera, it worries me how little time they've spent together before they're going to get married.

Miriam says, are you a big spender? Do you manage your money well? Iris says, I like to spend money, but I manage my finances really well. Like I have a savings account, I have insurance. Miriam says, because my son's difficult.

He doesn't like limit spending. Iris says, yes, but he promised me he'd work on that. And his sister goes, you know that about him and you still want to get married, even though he hasn't developed personal finance skills yet, which are really important.

Like it's important. Iris says, yeah, well, it was a bit of an issue. Cynthia says, I just think you should think about it more.

Priscilla says, I don't agree, but you should do whatever you want. Renee says, exactly. Priscilla says, well, I have nothing else to say.

Renee's dad says, well, a lot could happen. Renee says, if you'd like, you're all invited to come on the 6th, because the wedding date is December 6th. Priscilla says, I gotta work.

And then tells the camera, like, I'm not rude. Really? Ma'am? Okay. So she says, like, I'm not rude.

I just look out for my brother, married or not. There's something I don't like and then I'll tell him. Yeah, we know, sweetie.

Miss Leather Boots. Okay. Renee says, well, that's why we're here, to introduce you to Iris.

To extend the invitation. Miriam says, well, first of all, if you do it, we'll be there for you, won't you? And she looks at her husband. Miriam tells camera, well, if my husband and daughters won't go, I can try to be there.

She tells Iris, as a mom, I'll never turn my back on you because I'm also a woman. Iris says, thank you. His sister says, if they tell me I have to go, honestly, I don't even know how to answer that question right now.

Renee's dad says, well, shall we make a quick toast? Let's toast to the both of you, to you as a couple. May you have a blessed life. Good luck.

You're going to need it. Yikes, y'all. Yikes.

We're now back at the wall gym place and Gerardo, Fernanda, Francesca and Willie are eating lunch. Willie tells camera, I find it hard to be introspective, whereas they really like to analyze everything that I'm feeling. Sometimes I prefer to just go with the flow, but it's because I don't want to confront my own emotions.

The way Francesca handled the situation was very encouraging. Willie tells the group, yeah, it's a personal issue of mine, but how she responds to it really matters. She made things a lot clearer for me and now we know how to tackle this issue together.

Francesca tells camera, I don't like saying no and giving up. I want to get to the root of things and fully explore what it could be. It's either a yes or no.

If it's either, if it's fine, as long as we tried. Gerardo asked Willie, can you come up with an analogy between rock climbing and the experiment? Willie says, well, that when you're halfway up the wall, looking down, you get scared shitless. But I wasn't really ready to give up on the wall or the relationship.

On the wall, you're on your own. It's purely an individual task, but in relationship, there's more, there's someone out there who can support you. I see, I don't know why they keep going back into between these scenes, just like, okay, can just finish the scene and then, you know, end it.

Okay, so we are now at the home of Chema's best friend, Rafa. We see Chema and Sylvie at the door of his home. Chema tells camera, Rafa is my best buddy from poker and he's also one of the few people that I can count on.

Chema asks Rafa, what do you think? Do we make a nice couple? Rafa says, honestly, you're gonna have beautiful kids, beautiful. No doubt about it. Rafa tells camera, Chema's ex-girlfriends have generally been all very skinny, but ultimately, chemistry has nothing to do with beauty, right? God, he's an idiot.

Okay, whatever. Rafa asks, was she kind of what you were expecting or was it, Chema says, no, I had no fucking idea. Rafa says, I mean, so you just couldn't imagine what she would look like? Chema says, I didn't wanna imagine it either, just because if you have an idea in your head and it's not what you expect, you just gotta go with it.

We hear a knock at the door. Sylvie says, I invited a friend. Chema says, without asking first.

Sylvie says, well, you know, gotta get the party started. Sylvie says to camera, Angie is one of my best friends in the plus-size modeling world. I really want her to meet Chema.

Angie says, he seems really sweet, but I'm a little bit more about action. So let's see how he treats Sylvia. Chema says, so how do you know Sylvia? And Angie says, we work at the same agency.

Chema says, oh, you're also a model. Angie says, yes, we're curvy models. We're the only two at the agency and we work nonstop, honestly.

Chema says, and do you know she's trying to show me her best side? Is this what she's really like? Angie says, I don't know. Chema says, like, is she trying to make me fall in love with her? Angie says, Sylvie? No, Sylvie's always herself, always. Sylvie says, I told you.

Rafa tells camera, knowing Chema, I doubt he will make that kind of decision in a short time, short amount of time. I don't think he's gonna go for this. We're now at a restaurant with Fernanda's mom and brother.

Fernanda and Gerardo walk in and she introduces her brother to Gerardo. Fernanda tells camera, Gerardo and Mariano meeting is really important to me because my family's much smarter than Gerardo's. Mariano says, well, I don't know if you've discussed family matters with Fernanda, like, to be honest, like about our dad and stuff.

Our dad passed away 17 years ago, to be exact. I just did the math. Gerardo says, so we haven't really talked about it much because it's quite a sensitive topic and it hasn't been the right time.

But at some point, I would like to know more about your family and hear about your dad. But it's a subject we haven't touched on. I mean, I understand.

I understand why that is. And it's also something I'd like to know more about. Mariano says, well, whatever Fernanda is willing to share with you, then we support that.

But, you know, what if we tell you something she doesn't want you to know? So obviously, we won't do anything that goes against her wishes. Gerardo tells camera, I want to know more about her father. But when I asked, they avoided the topic.

We all have a story. But if my partner doesn't let me know theirs, whether if it's painful or not, it's going to be very hard for me to say I do. Mariano says, so changing subjects a bit.

Are you a dog person? Gerardo says, well, we have different opinions on how dogs should behave. Fernanda and I have been discussing what kind of agreement we can come to. Fernanda says, Gerardo sees dogs as just that, dogs.

And for me, Argos is my emotional support. I mean, he's my child. And it's very important that Argos is allowed to stay inside the house.

It's not negotiable. If my dog can't be inside, I can't continue the relationship. Gerardo says, so if it's negotiable, then it has to be a transition.

It can't be happening overnight. Mariano says, do you want kids? And he says, well, we've talked about it. Fernanda's mom says, do you like the idea of being an uncle to Fernanda's kid? Mariano says, I don't know.

It's weird for us because for a long time now, it's just been the three of us. It's kind of like, I can't picture my sister getting married, you know? I never thought my sister could get married. So it's a shock.

Fernanda's mom says, and now that you've actually seen your sister, what do you think? Mariano says, she looks physically different like someone else. You know, a depressed person doesn't look right, you know? I mean, physically she looks good, but not to sound cliche, you seem like a good person. I mean, you're really cool.

Honestly, it's great for her. Gerardo says, thank you. Maritrini says, I said the same.

She tells camera, Mariano really likes Gerardo. I could see it in his face that he approves of him. They all say, cheers, a toast to you.

Congratulations. Gerardo tells camera, Mariano isn't shy, but he's careful with words. And I think he thinks before speaking.

I really like him. Back at the apartment, we see Willie and Francesca. Willie hands friend flowers and says, I couldn't get you peonies, but these smell heavenly.

And I wanted to get you something. Francesca says, aw, thank you. Flowers are always nice.

How are you feeling? Willie says, good. Francesca says, well, let's see how the call goes. Willie says, are you nervous about my mom? Francesca says, no, I just feel like not knowing how to respond because I can't be spontaneous.

Willie says, no, no, no, respond however you want. My mom's just going to have to accept you for who you are and what you have to say. Fran says, okay.

Talking to camera, Francesca says, I'd really like to find out more about his family dynamic and to find out why he is the way he is. I'm very curious. In walks Willie's two sisters and Willie's nephew, who is about two years old.

Willie's sister says, So, have you felt the full range of emotions? Willie says, yeah, all of them. I mean, I've been single for three and a half years and I'm finding it hard to get back into being a couple. Willie's sister says, What's been the hardest thing for you in all of this? Francesca says, the communication.

Willie says, you guys think I'm bad at communicating? And they all say yes. So Willie's sister's name is Cosette and she says to camera, He's always found it hard to express his feelings, especially when it's something important to him or really personal. Willie says, what do you think mom will ask us? You know, how you don't put up with pretenses? She doesn't either.

Well, my mom doesn't either. She won't hold back. I don't know what Willie's so afraid of.

He always gets so worked up over relationships. Willie turns on the FaceTime on the iPad with his parents and Willie says, here's my sister. Here's Nico.

Here's Francesca. And as you know, I'm currently living with Francesca and I really wanted you all to meet her. So, you know, talk to her.

Willie's dad says, So why don't you tell us about yourself, Francesca? Francesca says, well, let's see. I'm an indoor cycling coach, which are those classes that Willie just loves going to. And I have an amazing 11 year old daughter.

She's called Mila. But hey, why don't you tell me what you'd like to know about me? Willie's mom asks, Did your parents know about the experiment? She says, yes. And she says, and what do you, what do they think? What are they like? Fran says, in our family, we're very clear about values and rules.

It's what we've established. And so if you want to succeed, if you want to be with someone who speaks their mind, who's happy, then walk with the values. It doesn't matter which direction, just walk.

Because you've got to make sure you have, and she was going to say like the balls, but she says, values. It's about going and making decisions because it doesn't matter if they're right or they're wrong. You're still going to learn something and you're going to grow.

Cosette says, I can tell Francesca is not phased by any of this. I like her answers. Willie's mom says, I really wish Willie could have told us more about this experiment because this information is overwhelming.

And then Willie says, I've always been closed off about the love of my life with you. And I think it's pretty rare for me to tell you guys who I'm dating. I made a mistake in the way I communicated with you.

And I should have introduced Francesca early. Willie's dad says, but it's never too late. And we'd like to offer to open up a channel of communications when it comes to your emotions, which is something that we haven't done in our family.

I mean, we're quite a rational family, but we're a bit more practical, but you get what I'm trying to say, right? Willie says, for me, this experiment wasn't just about connecting with someone, you know, because I was looking for someone who could also connect with my sisters and my family. And I have that with Francesca. Willie's dad says, well, we are very happy to hear you talking about this because it helps us understand what the situation is.

And now we know more about it and what's going on. Willie says, well, I'm really happy that you got to meet Francesca. Willie says, we have to go now, but listen, now we can have video calls whenever we want.

And I just want to say, I love you very much. Willie's dad says, it was a pleasure to meet you, Francesca. Francesca says, nice to meet you, Guillermo.

Willie tells camera, it doesn't matter if they're for it or against it, but I just want to leave all the cards down on the table and let them voice their opinions. But ultimately the decision is mine to make. Willie's sister says, well, how do you think it went? Fran says, I mean, it went really well.

Willie says, of course it did. I think it went well. Was that the worst case scenario? It wasn't great.

But it wasn't the not the worst case scenario. Co says, this wasn't the worst case scenario. Willie said, no, that's what I meant.

Like the worst thing could have happened. Francesca says, why don't focus on the worst case scenario? It's done. It's like, that's it.

Whatever happens will happen. Fran tells camera, seems like Willie's issues with the communication isn't just personal. It's more general.

It's with his family, with me, with everyone. He has a problem communicating. Chema and Sylvie enter a restaurant and Chema says, do you think we wouldn't celebrate your birthday? Some din-dins with my Sylvie.

Sylvie says, wow. And then she tells camera, it's my birthday today. And the fact that I'm here with him is amazing.

So I think it's a good omen. Sylvie tells Chema, my birthday is my favorite day because one more trip around the sun means you've gotten more experience. Life gets more beautiful.

I really like the journey I'm on. Chema says, I like birthdays because it's another year, personal growth and maturity. I think it's so great.

Behind Sylvie, Karen, Fernando, Renee, Iris, Willie, Francesca, and Gerardo walk in singing, happy birthday to you. Fran says, oh, it's my darling Sylvie's birthday. I'm so excited.

She deserves to be spoiled today. Chema proposes a toast. Here's to life for giving me the opportunity to meet this fantastic woman and spend her birthday with her.

Cheers. Here's to Sylvia. Sylvie says to camera.

So I start looking around at the couples there and I realize Fernanda's missing. Who knows why she didn't come? But as they say, the fewer, the better. Oh, see, I didn't even know that those two don't get along.

Fernanda asked Gerardo, hey, how are you, ma'am? Gerardo asks, well, I see the questions have already started. Fernando says, well, how do you feel? Gerardo says, well, it's just pretty obvious that someone's missing. Renee says, your partner's not here.

Gerardo says, well, she just didn't want to come. In a flashback, we see Fernanda crying on the couch saying, I don't want to go. And Gerardo saying, well, I do.

Fernanda crying says, I don't want to go somewhere where I don't want to be. And I'm not welcome. People don't like me.

They just tolerate me. I fucking had it up to here dealing with Sylvia. Fernanda says, does it bother you? Gerardo says, I don't know, man.

Fernanda asks, like, did it upset you? Gerardo says, I mean, I want my partner to come with me with me to things like this. And I told her that, like, I worry we won't be able to do these kinds of things together. I mean, there's always going to be people you like and people you don't, people you like and people you don't like, you know.

Fernanda said, yeah. And there's like a ton of us here anyway. We're in a big group.

She could have hung out with us. Gerardo says, yeah, dude, but I respect your decision. I mean, it doesn't bother me, but I don't want it to be like this either.

Gerardo tells camera, I'm finding it really hard. I mean, I feel lonely. I feel sad, even though I'm with my friends.

But we're growing and working out if it's right or not. Gerardo turns around and the rest of the pod squad are walking into the restaurant. We see Leti and Saul.

They explain that they reconnected when they left the honeymoon and they spent Saul's birthday together. And it's kind of unclear whether or not they're together or not, but I don't think so. So then ominous music plays and you see Moffer.

Moffer, if you remember, was Gerardo's number two in the pods and he turns and sees her walking in and goes, oh, fuck me. And the episode ends. I like that cliffhanger.
