At We Can Relate!, we believe that learning to relate more deeply – to ourselves and others – has the power to change our lives and heal our divided world. Growth and transformation are at the heart of everything we do. By openly sharing our personal journeys of struggle, resilience, and lessons learned along the way, we create a warm, inviting space where vulnerability replaces fear and connection overcomes isolation. We’re here to support you through your most difficult relational issues with warmth, insight, and humor. By meeting in our shared human imperfections, we foster deeper, more conscious relationships and a sense of true belonging.
Our mission is to guide, support, and inspire a community where healing is not only possible, it's inevitable. Our greatest intention for We Can Relate! is that it reaches people who need help understanding and healing relational wounds. May it be a healing salve, relational map, or some kind of Soul Food.
We truly hope it is that for you.

Breaking the TRIGGER Cycle: How to Respond Differently in Relationships (Part 2)
Use Left/Right to seek, Home/End to jump to start or end. Hold shift to jump forward or backward.
Why do the same conflicts keep repeating — even when you’re trying to handle things differently?
In Part 2 of our conversation on triggers, we go deeper into the patterns that drive recurring reactions in relationships. If Part 1 explored the difference between reacting and responding, this episode focuses on how to actually interrupt the cycle.
Because insight is powerful — but change happens when awareness turns into action.
In this episode, we explore:
• Why certain triggers keep resurfacing
• The hidden patterns behind repeated arguments
• What happens when a reactive part of you takes the lead
• How to pause before escalation
• Practical tools to respond differently in the moment
• How one person shifting can change the dynamic
Triggers don’t mean something is wrong with you or your relationship. They often point to unfinished patterns, expectations, or protective responses that once made sense.
When you learn to recognize the cycle, you create space for something new.
If you’ve ever thought, “Why do we keep having the same fight?” — this episode will help you see it clearly and move forward with more intention.
