We Can Relate!
We Can Relate! is a podcast and videocast dedicated to fostering healing in relationships, with both oneself and others. Co-hosts Katie Heeran, a licensed Psychotherapist and Yoga Instructor, and Diane Squier, and Embodiment Coach and Tantra Healer, provide a supportive and compassionate space for listeners facing inner and external relational challenges.
At We Can Relate!, we believe that learning to relate more deeply – to ourselves and others – has the power to change our lives and heal our divided world. Growth and transformation are at the heart of everything we do. By openly sharing our personal journeys of struggle, resilience, and lessons learned along the way, we create a warm, inviting space where vulnerability replaces fear and connection overcomes isolation. We’re here to support you through your most difficult relational issues with warmth, insight, and humor. By meeting in our shared human imperfections, we foster deeper, more conscious relationships and a sense of true belonging.
Our mission is to guide, support, and inspire a community where healing is not only possible, it's inevitable. Our greatest intention for We Can Relate! is that it reaches people who need help understanding and healing relational wounds. May it be a healing salve, relational map, or some kind of Soul Food.
We truly hope it is that for you.

Have you ever felt like you’re checking all the boxes in life… but still don’t feel fully alive?
In this episode of WE CAN RELATE!, Diane is joined by special guest Peter Petersen to explore what it really means to move from surviving to thriving. Together, they unpack how chronic stress and a dysregulated nervous system can leave us feeling numb, disconnected, or simply going through the motions, and how our bodies hold the key to reclaiming your vitality, passion, and presence.
Drawing from more than two decades of experience in Qigong, breathwork, and embodied movement, Peter shares practical ways to restore resilience, awaken your life force, and reconnect with your body’s innate wisdom, helping you cultivate a deeper relationship with yourself and the people you love.
In this conversation, we explore:
• Why so many of us lose touch with our sense of aliveness
• The difference between surviving and truly thriving
• How breath, movement, and Qigong help regulate the nervous system and restore vitality
• Reconnecting with your passions, purpose, and desire
• How embodied presence deepens intimacy and emotional connection
• Simple practices to bring more energy, joy, and authenticity into everyday life
Whether you’re feeling burned out, stuck in a routine, disconnected from yourself, or simply longing to feel more present, energized, and alive, this episode offers practical wisdom and inspiring insights to help you reconnect with what makes life feel meaningful.
At WE CAN RELATE!, we believe that healthier relationships begin with a healthier relationship with ourselves.
