In this episode, I take a brief look at what yoga is-and what it is not. I have often been asked what Yoga is, and how it differs from Pilates. If I had a pound for every time... Although this is a MASSIVE subject, and like most esoteric and metaphysical modalities it is incrediby diffcult to define, in this short episode I attempt to outline what for me is the clearest definition of yoga I can give at this stage in my spiritual journey, drawing from my own study with various teachers and personal experience. I touch on how it differs from Pilates, what the main purpose of Yoga practices are, advanced asana practice and why its not entirely necessary and so much more. Recording this episode has opened up many wider questions and my views may be controversial for some. As always my intention here is to share and learn in a non-judgmental space.
