Along the way they spiral into Speedos, secret vacations, Japan travel stories, and the philosophical highs and lows of declaring yourself “so back” only for life to immediately prove you wrong. A lesbian firefighter calls in asking how to survive working with increasingly outspoken conservative coworkers without spending all day arguing with them. The trio breaks down the art of choosing your battles in hostile environments, the strange politics of firehouse culture, and how humor (and a well-timed roast) might be the most effective survival strategy.
