Todd S. Rich

Todd S. Rich is a Co-Founder and Partner of Declaration Partners and the Head of Real Estate.  Todd has two decades of multi-market real estate investing and operating experience including acquisitions, dispositions, development, leasing, and management of portfolios involving over $20 billion of institutional quality real estate. Previously, Todd was an Owner and Partner at The JBG Companies where he served as a member of its Investment and Management Committees. Prior to that, Todd was a Managing Director at Tishman Speyer where he was responsible for the business activities of the Washington, DC region and worked in Tishman Speyer’s Chicago, London, and New York offices.  Todd currently serves on the boards of the SED Center and the Jewish Community Foundation (JCF) of Greater Washington and formerly served on the board of the Economic Club of Washington. He graduated from Princeton University and was a Fulbright Scholar living in Argentina and Brazil.

Bennett Goodman

Mr. Goodman co‐founded Hunter Point Capital (“HPC”) and serves as its Executive Chairman.  Prior to HPC, Mr. Goodman was a Co‐ Founder of GSO Capital Partners (“GSO”), the credit arm of The Blackstone Group, where he focused on the management and growth of an investment platform with over $125 billion of assets under management. Before GSO, he was the Managing Partner of the Alternative Capital Division of Credit Suisse and joined when they acquired Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette (“DLJ”) where he was Global Head of Leverage Finance and Private Equity Sponsor Coverage. He started his career in the high yield business at Drexel Burnham Lambert.  

Mr. Goodman currently sits on the boards of New York-Presbyterian Hospital, Lincoln Center, the Whitney Museum, and the Central Park Conservancy and previously served on Blackstone’s Board of Directors.  He graduated from Lafayette College and Harvard Business School.

Dave Roux

David is the co-founder and chairman of BayPine Capital. He previously co-founded Silver Lake Partners and held various leadership positions there, including chairman and co-CEO.  David has also been chairman of Jackson Laboratories, an independent biomedical research institute. He began his career as a software entrepreneur and executive at Lotus and Oracle. David recently founded The Roux Institute at Northeastern University, a graduate school focused on digital engineering, computational biology and the practical application of artificial intelligence.

David M. Rubenstein

David M. Rubenstein is a financier, philanthropist, interviewer, author, and historian. He is Co-Founder and Co-Chairman of The Carlyle Group and principal owner of the Baltimore Orioles of Major League Baseball. He hosts two shows on Bloomberg TV and is the New York Times bestselling author of five books including his most recent The Highest Calling. David coined a type of giving called “patriotic philanthropy”, which aims to improve education through historical preservation, including repairing monuments and memorials in Washington, DC. He is Chairman of the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, the Council on Foreign Relations, the National Gallery of Art, the Economic Club of Washington, and the University of Chicago. David is a magna cum laude graduate of Duke University, where he was elected Phi Beta Kappa and graduated from the University of Chicago Law School, where he was an editor of the Law Review.

Kari Firestone

Co-founder & Chair Emerita of Aureus Asset Management, an asset management firm which serves as the primary financial advisor to families, individuals, and nonprofit institutions. Before cofounding Aureus in 2005, I spent 22 years as a fund manager and research analyst at Fidelity Investments.

Marco Peschiera

Marco Peschiera has over 26 years of experience in the financial industry. He is currently the CEO of Grupo Romero Investment Office (GRIO) and serves as CEO and CIO of Grupo Romero Asset Management (GRAM)   Additionally, he is a board member at companies such as Alicorp, Ocensa, Primax, Infracorp, and Grupo Centenario, among others.


Prior to joining Grupo Romero in 2017, Mr. Peschiera worked as Fund Head and Managing Director at Carlyle Peru Fund and acted as a board member across the fund’s portfolio companies.


Before joining Carlyle, Mr. Peschiera worked as a Managing Director for the LatAm Group at Citi, leading the Industrials practice, and as Vice President of M&A at Salomon Smith Barney. He received his MBA from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, and a BA degree in Industrial Engineering from Universidad de Lima.

Robert Picard

Robert Picard joined Hightower in June 2022 as Managing Director, Head of Alternative Investments. Mr. Picard has 34 years' experience on both the buy and sell side, having built multi-billion-dollar alternative investment programs at First Republic Private Wealth Management, The Carlyle Group/Rock Creek, Optima Fund Management, RBC Capital Markets and InfraHedge/State Street. As First Republic's Managing Director and Head of Alternative Investments, he consolidated two alternative investment businesses into one platform and generated meaningful growth in both wealth management team participation and fund offerings across all asset classes. He spent over a decade as Founder and CEO of The Rumson Ridge Group, a consultancy focused on building alternative investment platforms. He is a graduate of the College de Geneve and attended the University of Geneva Law School. He performs due diligence on manager strategies, visiting 1,000 firms globally in 25 years.
