The Protech project is a groundbreaking, EU-funded study exploring how safety tech could be used to stop the viewing of child sexual abuse imagery on people’s devices. 

Child sexual abuse material is spreading on the internet at shocking levels and identifying ways to block the demand for abuse imagery is a pivotal part of efforts to protect children.

The two-year project is conducting a real-life pilot study in the EU and the UK – with individuals who are at risk of viewing child sexual abuse imagery.
