Body Wisdom Rising
Body Wisdom Rising is a podcast for people navigating deep change — awakenings, identity shifts, healing, and the sense that the old ways of living no longer work.
We’re living in a time of collective disillusionment and awakening. Many are being asked to slow down, feel more, and re-orient their lives — often without support from systems that were never designed for this kind of transformation.
This podcast offers a grounded way to make sense of these experiences by reconnecting to the body as teacher, the Earth as stabilizer, ancestral wisdom as context, and spiritual support rooted in lived experience.
I’m Alyssa Stefanson, Somatic and Ancestral Healing Guide, and host of Body Wisdom Rising. Each episode weaves together somatic healing, nervous system regulation, ancestral remembrance, and earth-based wisdom to support personal and collective healing.
We speak honestly about initiation, death-and-rebirth cycles, trauma, addiction, disconnection, and what becomes possible when familiar identities fall away and something deeper begins to emerge.
If you’re navigating change and looking for a grounded, embodied way to understand what’s happening — you’re in the right place.

Timeline Jumping: Collapse Old Timelines and Open Portals to New Ones
Transformation rarely fails for lack of effort; it stalls when our internal baseline stays the same. Alyssa takes you inside the real mechanics of a timeline shift—how identity, nervous system patterns, and ancestral loyalties quietly script your choices—and shows why mindset alone keeps you looping familiar results. We explore how somatic practices teach your body new safety, how lineage work dissolves invisible contracts to stay small, and how community provides the co‑regulation that turns insight into durable change.
You’ll hear a candid look at collapse, chaos, and the awkward in‑between where the old self no longer fits and the new one isn’t stable yet. Instead of forcing outcomes, we lean into pattern interrupts, embodied rituals, and environment design—retreats, land‑based ceremony, and group containers—that interrupt routine, widen capacity, and make clarity actionable. Along the way, we map the early signs of a real shift: lower tolerance for misalignment, cleaner decisions, deeper conversations, and opportunities that the old identity couldn’t hold.
If you’re noticing tests—familiar jobs, past partners, soothing habits—this conversation reframes them as thresholds. You don’t need permission from family to heal family patterns; you need practices that update your emotional baseline and a circle that reflects your becoming. By the end, you’ll have a practical lens for choosing growth over comfort, regulating through uncertainty, and anchoring a future that matches who you’re becoming rather than who you’ve been.

SPEAKER_00:Let's get into the episode.
SPEAKER_01:Thank you everyone for being here. And I want to say thank you to everyone who took the time to give this show a rating. I greatly appreciate you. And for anyone who hasn't yet and is getting value from these episodes, I would so greatly appreciate it if you took one minute to leave this podcast a review. It literally takes one minute. You can pause the show and go do that now. It really helps the podcast grow. And like I mentioned before, I don't make any money off of these episodes. So I would so appreciate that. All right, so let's dive into the episode today. So what we're gonna be talking about is how to shift timelines through ancestral healing and somatic work. So a timeline is just simply the direction your life will continue if nothing changes. So most people end up repeating the same life over and over, not because they want to, but because their internal reality hasn't changed. So if your identity doesn't shift, if your beliefs stay the same, if your daily choices don't change, if you keep the same routines, the same relationships, the same coping strategies and survival patterns, if your body responds the same way and your nervous system keeps choosing the familiar, then the future becomes predictable. So a timeline shift is when your identity changes, your emotional baseline changes, your patterns update, your responses shift, and your behavior follows that. And you start making different choices from a different version of you. So in this episode, we're going to break down what a timeline shift actually is and why so many people feel like they're doing the work, but nothing is really changing. And we'll talk about how your internal world determines your future. So how ancestral patterns get in the way of change, why the ability to manifest and co-create is faster right now than it's ever been, and what has to shift internally for your life to break into a new direction. And here's the part that most people get wrong is that you can't think your way into a new timeline. So if the patterns you inherited from your lineage are still running your life, if you're still responding from old survival strategies, if your emotional baseline is still built on past trauma, then your future keeps repeating the past. So this is why ancestral healing and somatic work are the key. They change the internal blueprint, they update the internal identity, the body-based patterns, and the generational beliefs that keep you locked into the old timeline. So most people try to change their life through mindset or motivation, but this often leads to self-sabotage or moving forwards, then reverting backwards because the internal baseline hadn't changed. So transformation happens when the deeper layers shift. The body, the lineage, the identity, and the subconscious patterns, you didn't even choose. And many of these we can't even see and we aren't even aware of. And there's a saying that a fish doesn't know that it's in water. So when we change these, the external world has to reorganize around you. That's when a new timeline opens up. So this is why I built ancestral alchemy the way that I did. So after investing tens of thousands of dollars into different trainings and modalities over the years, all of which I'm super grateful for and I learned so much from. But I realized that ancestral healing was the one place where everything I had been studying lived under one roof. So the somatics, the subconscious work, the epigenetics, the nervous system repair, the power of ritual, attachment therapy, family constellations, ceremony, this work integrates all of it. And we look at the unconscious legacy burdens and the inherited loyalties that keep you repeating old patterns. And instead of approaching it with fixing energy, we focus on reconnection, identity, and restoring your relationship to yourself, your lineage, and your inner leadership. So it's the most comprehensive approach I've ever seen. And it's why I created this program in the first place. This is also the most accessible the program will ever be because it is the first time that I am running it. You receive lifetime access, weekly modules, and a 12-week container with two live Sunday calls every week, one at 4 p.m. PST and another at 5 p.m. GMT. All calls are recorded and uploaded. So you don't have to attend the live calls to get the full transformation. There's also a private community space where I'm active daily and where you can share reflections, ask questions, or get support between calls. And if you want to join at half the price you'll ever pay for this program, this round is the time to do it. You can check out the details in the show notes. And if you want to save an additional 200 until December 10th, use the code BF200 at checkout. If this is after December 10th, 2025, there's still another code in the show notes for$100 off that you can use. So today I want to walk you through the real mechanics of how a timeline actually changes. Not through willpower, positive thinking, or trying to manifest harder, but through identity, subconscious patterning, and what your body has learned is safe. So we're going to talk about why people hit points in life where the old ways stop working, why the same emotional reactions, the same relationships, the same fears or coping strategies show up again and again. And we're going to look at why so many people right now are feeling a pull into deeper work and deeper transformation. When the internal world shifts, the external future has to shift with it. So a timeline shift also explains that moment so many people hit where they say, I've done all this healing. So why is nothing changed? That's because the deeper layers weren't updated. So the same identity was still choosing. The same emotional themes were still running, and the same survival strategies or nervous system patterns were still protecting you from taking new risks. So healing can't just be awareness or mindset. It has to reach the places where your beliefs, your body, and your inherited patterns were formed. When those shift, the future starts opening in a new direction. So another piece of this is understanding why this is happening so strongly right now. So we are in a moment collectively where people are questioning the old ways of being. The systems that kept us in survival or self-abandonment don't work anymore. And you can feel the pressure of change. You can feel the identity you used to be doesn't match the life you want anymore. And a lot of people describe it as chaos or collapse, but what's really happening is that the old timeline is losing power. It can't keep running the show. And that friction is actually the signal that transformation is happening. So when you are stepping into a new timeline, the old one does have to fall away. So sometimes a relationship ends, a job changes, friendships fall away, or your values shift. Some change alongside with you, which is incredible, but often, you know, some of them do fall away. And it can feel uncomfortable or even confusing, but it's not failure. It's a sign that your internal world changed first and the external world is reorganizing around it. So this is one of the most important things to understand because the moment most people want to go back to the old version of self is the moment the shift is actually happening. So this is also where ancestral healing and somatic work become so powerful because the patterns that hold you back are usually not just your patterns. They belong to your lineage. They belong to past generations who had to survive, endure, shut down emotions, stay in survival mode, or give up dreams. And unconsciously, we carry those same loyalties. We repeat what we inherited, not because we want to stay stuck, but because the body learned that it was safer to stay the same. And when you address the lineage, you're not just healing your story, you're changing the blueprint your life is built on. You know, when I um really started to dive into this work, everything really started to shift for me. And uh it was definitely not smooth. There was definitely many rocky, rocky moments uh on this path. But um, even over this past year, like 2025, I had been sharing how um challenging this year had been for me. So 2024, things were collapsing. Um, I had also attended a lot of like really powerful uh retreats. I was doing deep, deep work. So fortunately enough, I understood that this was part of the process, but it didn't really make it a whole lot easier. Um, you know, I often say that the bigger the shifts, uh, the harder the collapses and and the chaos that comes along with it. And um I went through some major shifts. I took some major leaps over the past few years. And um, this past year, you know, it was it was a struggle. And there were times where I'm like, I just want to go back. Like I just want to go get a safe nine to five job. I quit my nine to five job in 2023. Um, this work, doing this deep healing work, has been what has allowed me to really step into my purpose, to do the work that I'm doing today. It has allowed me to really live my dream and to connect with incredible humans all over the world, um, have the platform that I have and have the confidence to use my voice the way that I do and um be able to work wherever I want in the world, you know, and I'm just so, so grateful for all of that. But it has come with a lot of challenges. And there were times where I didn't think I was gonna make it. And, you know, I just went through probably one of the biggest um jumps and shifts that I've ever, ever gone through over the past few months. And right when I felt like I wanted to turn back and I wanted to quit, like I just couldn't go any longer. I stayed with it. These are tests, right? The way that I look at them now is they're tests. Doesn't make them easier, but knowing that they are tests and just knowing, okay, just a little bit longer, like just get through this. Um, all of a sudden, um, major gifts and major blessings on the other side. And that's often what comes along with it, right? So path isn't easy. It's not all love and light and butterflies and unicorns and rainbows that many people say that manifestation is. It definitely is not. That's not the truth to it whatsoever. Um, you know, it comes with a lot of letting go and letting go becomes a skill. Surrender becomes a skill. But the thing is, we often don't surrender unless we have support around us, right? So I double down on community, on uh, you know, being in group containers and community around me, going to sweat lodges every single week. I swear that those sweat lodges have been what supported me over this past year. Um, I actually don't believe that I would be able, I would have been able to achieve what I did achieve this past year if it wasn't going to those, because it really helped me get to a state of just surrender and uh process and digest my experiences and allow myself to be in the uncertainty and the void because there is that void that I often talk about. The gap between where we were and where we're going. It is the um the space in between. You know, there is that gap, there is that leg, is what I call it, between the old reality and the new reality. And we do have to sit with that for a little while because that is the place where we plant the seeds for the future that we're wanting. It's the fertile soil and it can be very uncomfortable. And that's often the place where people want to turn back. So timeline shifts are rarely comfortable. You know, we tend to want to change without disruption. We want the new life without having to let go of the old one. But the truth is there is always a gap between who you were and who you are becoming. This is often a period of uncertainty or limbo. This is the moment where your nervous system or your internal patterns will try to take you back to the familiar. But if you understand what's happening, you'll recognize it as a sign that the old timeline is dissolving and a new one is taking shape. One of the most powerful ways to accelerate this shift is environment. This is why retreats and specific containers are so transformative. When you step outside of your old patterns, your conditioned behavior, and the routine that reinforces who you've always been, your identity expands, your internal responses change. This is why I do breath work, somatic practices, group work, land-based experiences, um, ceremonial work in groups, in containers like that. These experiences create the conditions where your system can reorganize and your identity can upgrade. You know, it's during attending retreats has uh really been a huge opportunity for me to practice vulnerability. I was very hyper-independent and I had walls up for a long time. And I used to view vulnerability as weakness. And, you know, when everything collapsed for me in 2017, that was really hard. And I didn't have emotional support at that time. And I put walls up and I didn't let anyone in. And I had a hard time trusting people. So starting to immerse myself in um containers and in community and in ceremony and in retreats, I was able to practice vulnerability. And um, it's it's wild now to think that I was that way. I've softened so much over the years. I definitely have no problem being vulnerable in front of a group of people anymore. I find it so deeply healing and so empowering as well. Definitely don't look at it as weakness, but it was a practice. It was something that I definitely had to practice. So um, yeah, and you know, whenever people say, I often hear people hear people say that they feel like a different person. And that's often the moment that the timeline changed. I've said this myself, right? It's like I feel like I'm a completely different person than I used to be because we are our thoughts, our emotions, our choices, our relationships, the opportunities begin to shift. Our body relaxes into a new identity. When we stop recreating old situations, the future starts to open up. And I want to normalize something here, too, that timeline shifts don't happen because everything feels aligned and perfect. Most of the time, they happen after friction, disruption, or internal pressure builds. People get uncomfortable. Something stops working. The path that used to make sense suddenly feels too small. Your desires change, your priorities shift, the identity you've been living out doesn't fit anymore. This is usually the point where people uh think something is going wrong. When in reality, it's the exact point where the new timeline is opening up. And you'll start noticing, you know, when you're in a timeline shift, you'll start noticing things like old patterns just feel heavier, like they just aren't working anymore. You can't tolerate what you used to. So your tolerance for misalignment drops. You're tired of repeating the same situation. You want deeper purpose, deeper connection, deeper truth. And you can't go back to the previous version of yourself. So that's not a breakdown. That is a breakthrough beginning. So this is why I integrate somatic and identity work into my approach, because you cannot think your way into a new reality. You have to embody a new reality. You have to live from it, you have to update the internal structure. And a lot of times this has to happen on the level where those responses were formed, not in the conscious mind, not just by journaling about it, but in the body, the lineage, the subconscious, and the patterns of protection you've been carrying since childhood or even inherited from past generations. Even for me, you know, um, just recently, one of the things that I started doing was I always had a fear of singing in front of people. I did not like my voice. I didn't think I was a good singer, which is just not true. Every single person can sing. We just have to practice. And um this year I made a commitment to myself to start to sing in front of people. So I started doing this in um ceremony. And it was me really stepping out of my comfort zone. This is exactly how we start to change our identity, change the way that we see ourselves. So I used to see myself as someone who doesn't sing, that doesn't have a good voice. Well, I shifted that identity and I broke that pattern. You know, that was a pattern interrupt. And these things are huge. They're not small. Even something as simple as something that we think would be simple as like, say you drive the same way to work every single day, shifting that, like changing your route. Um, like that right there is a pattern interrupt, right? Like these little things like that. The more we keep adding these little things, all of a sudden we're living a new identity and possibilities start opening up, opportunities start opening up. You know, you might take a different uh route to work and um end up, you know, running into someone on the way there or seeing a sign or a symbol or something on your way to work. Like it's that's exactly how these things start to change, is like when we start to actually make these seemingly small shifts. And when people finally understand this, the entire process of healing really starts to change. So healing really isn't about trying to perfect yourself or fix something about you. It becomes, you know, just understanding that these patterns existed because they did serve you, right? So these protective mechanisms that we have, these walls that I put up, they served me at what time? That hyperindependence very much served me. You know, it was a protective mechanism. I needed that at one point in my life. I needed those walls to feel safe. So it's not about judging ourselves, it's about uh recognizing and thanking those patterns for showing up and protecting us, but realizing that we don't need them anymore and that we can start to soften. So it becomes about releasing what doesn't belong to you anymore. It becomes about stepping into responsibility for your future without abandoning the parts of you that got you this far. So that's the real work, and that's the work that creates a new timeline. And I do want to say this directly that you do not need your parents or family of origin to participate in this work. You don't need their validation or their permission. You don't need anyone else to change for you to change. Family constellations, attachment therapy, and ancestral healing give you the ability to repair patterns without needing the person who created the wound. So this is one of the biggest misconceptions about generational work. So we're not trying to fix the family system, we're changing the identity and the emotional patterns that came from it. And once those patterns shift, something incredible happens. So your emotions respond differently, your relationships start to change, the way you communicate changes, your choices change, your energy changes, things that used to trigger you don't have the same impact. Your body doesn't respond the same way. And this is how you start making choices the old version of you would never make. This is where the new timeline becomes your default reality. So this is also why I'm so intentional about working with the right containers, because we heal faster in community. We change faster when we're held in the right structure. We transform faster when we aren't doing it alone. Isolation keeps us on the old path and connection opens a new one. So this is why in Answer S in Ancestral Alchemy, we combine community, somatics, ritual, reflection, identity work, and support. Because those pieces together are what create sustainable transformation. And for those of you who are drawn to deeper immersive work, we'll talk later in this episode about the Sedona retreat, because that's a different type of transformation that happens when you stuck into an experience that interrupts your routine, removes the distractions and places you in a container designed for change. So it's not about the location, even though that's obviously a huge part of it. It's about the conditions that support a shift in identity. And there are also still a few more pieces I want to cover in this episode. So I want to talk about how to recognize when you're on the verge of a timeline shift, how to support yourself in the transition period, why the old identity doesn't come with you, and the subtle signs that your life is already reorganizing. So I'll take you through those next. So one of the most powerful things to understand about these moments of change is that they don't always look positive at first. A lot of people come into this work because something isn't working anymore. Maybe it's a relationship that feels misaligned, a job that feels limiting, or a version of yourself you just don't feel connected to anymore. So sometimes it shows up as burnout, lack of clarity, emotional exhaustion, or feeling like nothing feels the same as it used to. And that discomfort is often the doorway. So it's not the problem, it's the signal that the next chapter is trying to come through. So we tend to think change should feel inspiring and exciting. And it can be, absolutely, that's part of it, not to say that it's not. But the truth is before things get clear, they often get honest. So the patterns that held your old life together start breaking down, your old coping strategies don't work anymore, your reactions change, your emotional tolerance shifts. It can feel like life is pulling things apart, when in reality it's making space for the version of you that has been waiting to come forward. And here's where ancestral and somatic work create the biggest breakthroughs. So when you address the deeper patterns, so your emotional responses, your boundaries, the way that you communicate, the fears or family patterns you inherited, you're not just making small improvements. You're changing the direction of your life. You're shifting the core that your actions and choices are built from. The future that opens looks completely different because you're no longer operating from the past. At this point in the journey, most people start to notice the early signs. So their relationships start to shift, new opportunities start to show up, clarity returns, creativity returns, you start feeling more like yourself, you stop settling for less, your values change, your choices get cleaner and more direct. And this is when the new timeline has already started forming. So even if the external world hasn't fully caught up yet. And it's also important to say that you do not need everything figured out before your life changes. You don't need a perfect plan or a clear map. You just need the willingness to stop repeating what no longer fits and the capacity to choose something new. So that capacity comes from the internal work, not from forcing results. And when I look at the moments where my life shifted the most, they didn't happen because I was ready. They happened because I couldn't stay in the old version of myself anymore. They happened in retreats, in mentorship, in ceremonies, in those spaces where I removed myself from the day-to-day and gave myself permission to grow. And that's why these containers are powerful because they interrupt the old patterns and support the new ones. And this brings me into something I want to talk about, uh, how environment changes everything. So how stepping into places where you're outside your routine. So outside your old roles, your old patterns, you create space for clarity and change. And again, um, you know, not just because maybe you go to some mystical retreat, but because when you're supported, you're slowed down and resourced, you see your life differently and you make different choices. So one thing people don't always realize about stepping into a new chapter is that the previous version of you can't always come with you. So we hold on to old habits, old relationships, old expectations, or old roles because they once kept us safe. They helped us survive, they gave us belonging, they shaped who we became. But the same version of you that was built from those experiences isn't always the version that can carry you into the future you want. So that older version isn't wrong, it isn't broken, it just isn't the one that's needed for where you're going next. And I like to say that we integrate these parts. It's not like we get rid of them. We don't get rid of any parts of ourselves. Um, often what can happen too is like if we go through a massive shift or a massive change in our lives and we don't actually integrate our past, we actually start to judge people. This is shadow projection. We start to judge other people who are like doing the things that we used to do. So, say for example, I quit drinking uh eight years ago. So that would be like me judging other people who drank if I hadn't healed and integrated that part of myself. So not rejecting that part of myself that used to drink because that was a protective mechanism. It was a coping mechanism, which I understand that about myself. So I've done a lot of healing work, I've integrated that part of myself so that I don't judge other people for um drinking, right? So that's just an example of how that can turn out, turn out. So when you shift into a new way of responding to life, the old patterns often don't align anymore. So sometimes friendships naturally start to fall away. Certain conversations just don't land, like maybe certain superficial conversations you just can't have anymore. The things you used to tolerate become non-negotiable. Your decisions become cleaner and clearer. You start just showing up differently. And there's a natural shedding process. So this isn't a sign of losing yourself, it's a sign of growth. It's the moment where your future becomes more important than your old story. Stop staying in this, staying stuck in the old story. Because we can also get like addicted to our own suffering. I know in my past I had been, like it was almost like I was getting pleasure out of like this suffering and being a victim. And not to say that people aren't victimized. That's not what I'm saying at all. But um, you know, there's there's an important process of like recognizing when we have been victimized and staying in a victim mindset. So recognizing that we are have been victimized, validating those emotions, you know, and and really working on healing those wounds, but also making the choice that I won't stay a victim and getting into that empowering place of like, I have, I, I have the power to change this uh going forward. So there's also, you know, there can be a lot of resistance that shows up with this work. You know, people worry about letting go. They want to hold on to both timelines at once. I know that that was me for sure, you know, and we want to hold on to the new path and the familiar one. But the truth is, you can't expand and stay the same at the same time. You have to choose which version of you is leading your life forward. And that choice is usually made in the small decisions you make every day. So not in big dramatic moments. And here's the part that I want you to really hear is that the new timeline doesn't show up because everything is perfect or clear. It shows up because you decided to stop repeating the old one. It shows up because you chose growth over comfort. It shows up because you chose truth over familiarity. And once that choice is made internally, the external world begins to reorganize around it. You know, there's always that in-between stage where you're leaving one path and stepping onto another. And this is the part that most people aren't prepared for. It's the phase where you're no longer who you were, but you haven't fully stepped into who you're becoming. It can feel really awkward and uncomfortable. The old habits don't feel right anymore, but the new patterns aren't fully built. It can feel like nothing is settled, like things are rearranging, or like direction and clarity haven't fully landed yet. And we tend to interpret this stage as something going wrong, but in reality, it's one of the most important parts of the process. So this is where your system is recalibrating. So your choices are changing, your emotional responses are shifting. It's the early construction stage of a new version of yourself. And it can feel very uncomfortable, not because you're doing something wrong or failing, because you've stepped out of the old pattern and your life is catching up. And if you're in this stage, one of the worst things you can do is judge it. So think of how many times you or someone you know has been in a transition and they said, I just want clarity. Like I just want some certainty or some grounding. And yeah, it can feel really disorienting. I just want things to go back to normal. I want some stability. I've said that a lot actually over this past year. There's no way going back. The old reality was already asking to be released. The discomfort is not a sign to go back and retreat. It's a sign that you're on the brink of transformation. And this is how timeline shifts actually look in real life. So they don't happen all at once in one big moment. They happen through a series of subtle choices. So saying no to what used to drain you, creating boundaries you never had before, changing the way you show up in relationships, letting go of things that no longer serve you, choosing what aligns instead of what's familiar. Every one of those choices is evidence of new path forming. I always laugh when people talk about, you know, this being like an overnight success, or we look at people and it seems like they had overnight success. There's no such thing. It's always like a buildup of everything they've been doing, you know, prior for years. I've had people say that to me, like ask me how, you know, I've had these incredible opportunities over the past few years that seemingly fell into my lap that I couldn't have even dreamed at myself. Like just incredible opportunities. And people are like, How did you get that? Like you just seem to manifest these things out of thin air. And really, it's been a lot of deep work over the past several years. You know, it's been about shifting my internal state to allow these things to come in, feeling safe to receive them. You know, and now I want to move into uh one of the most important parts of this episode. So, how to support yourself during this transition. So let's talk about why the body needs safety and why connection accelerates change and why this is the moment most people need guidance and community the most, not because they're weak, but because transformation is not something we're meant to do alone. Yeah, they're initiations, right? And one of the most important things in this transition phase is supporting yourself through it in a way that keeps you moving forward instead of pulling you back into the old patterns. So this is where people often sabotage the shift, not because they want, they don't want the change, but because the familiar feels safer than the unknown. And when you're stepping into a new chapter, your system will often test you with old patterns. So, you know, that's when like old um partners start to come back, or just things like this, right? Or like, you know, a job opportunity that really isn't what you want, but um you're comfortable with it because it's a job that you worked in the past and you think that you need to take that opportunity when really, you know, it's not the one that you're working towards or that you're really wanting. These come in as tests, right? Like, will you revert back? Um, those are just examples. The question becomes do you fall back into the old way of coping or do you choose something different? And this is where somatic work and emotional regulation are powerful, not because they're trendy, which they are right now, but because your responses shape your reality. So if your body is taught safety, capacity, and grounded decision making, you make different choices. You speak differently, you show up differently, you hold yourself to a higher standard. If your emotions are able to move instead of being stuffed down or avoided, you stop repeating the past. You don't collapse or abandon yourself, you stay connected. Or maybe you have a pattern of being completely enmeshed and engulfed in your emotions. So it's like, how do you learn to regulate your emotions so that your emotions aren't hijacking your ability to think logically? And this is why I always say that real transformation isn't about forcing the outcome. It's about creating the internal conditions where the outcome becomes inevitable. When you are anchored in yourself, when you have practices that keep your emotions moving, when you have connection and support, when you understand the patterns you're breaking, that's when you start choosing the future instead of repeating the past. This is how you stay with the new timeline long enough for it to take shape. The other thing that accelerates the shift is community. So, not community that tells you what to do or gives you advice that you didn't ask for, but community where you're safe to share what's actually happening and where you have mirrors, where you have people who hold you through the messy part, where you're not trying to navigate change isolated or alone, where you are supported in a space that built is built for growth. Everything happens faster that way. And I've seen this over and over in my own life. So when I tried to change by myself, I did years of self-help work, which there's no such thing as being able to just help yourself and heal in isolation. Not to say that I didn't feel spiritually connected, because to me, that's not healing by yourself. Like we do need space for solitude and um our own spiritual practices. But then that wasn't me being alone. But when I did feel really cut off from everybody, like just isolated in life and felt lost from my spiritual connection, I couldn't heal from that place. You know, it was always the hardest and the slowest. And when I worked with the right mentors or stepped into the right programs or retreats, things just clicked. So the old emotional responses didn't run the show anymore. And I could see what needed to change. I could make decisions more clearly. And I had the support to keep me moving forward when it got uncomfortable. So that's what speeds up the timeline shifts. And this is one of the reasons I'm so intentional about the retreat spaces I do hold. So when you remove yourself from your normal environment and step into a container that's designed for reflection, integration, and pattern shifting, you see your life differently. You aren't distracted by routine or roles or expectations. You're able to listen to yourself in a way you can't always access in everyday life. It creates clarity, it creates movement, it creates space for change. For me personally, Sedona has been one of those environments that supports transformation. It's one of my favorite places in the world. Um, not because it magically changes you, though it honestly can feel that way being there, if anyone's been there. Stepping away from routine, stepping away from your everyday life, stepping into a container that asks you to slow down and be present. It changes the way you see your life. And I designed my Sedona retreat in a very specific way. So it's four nights of deep work, but it's um it's not intense in the sense of pushing or forcing emotions. It's about coming back into your body, reconnecting with your vision, releasing what no longer fits, and stepping into a new direction. So we're gonna use breath work, somatic practices, reflection, group processes, nature. And my friend Gabriel, who's an incredible musician and sound healer, will be joining me as well. So if you want to hear more about uh the Sedona retreat, check out the show notes as well.
SPEAKER_00:Retreats are just so powerful when it comes to timeline work.
SPEAKER_01:They take you out of the story you've been telling yourself and the version of yourself you've been maintaining, and they give you space to see what else is possible. You're not reacting to life, you're responding to life from a different part of you. When you go home, the changes really stick if you do the integration work. Not because you're trying harder, but because something inside of you already has shifted, has starting to change. And I always give people an integration plan as well. And whether it's a retreat or another container that aligns for you, I want you to really hear this that you do not need a perfect plan to shift timelines. You don't need certainty, you don't need everything figured out. You need support, you need clarity and the willingness to step into what's next. The rest reveals itself once you stop repeating the old patterns and just make these choices. You know, I've made um, you know, we have to take risks in life. And anything good that has come into my life has come from taking big risks, like doing things that felt scary, like it was expanding my identity. It was um expanding my capacity to receive big things. And they felt risky at first, you know, it would could have been, you know, investing and going to a retreat or a program, a coaching program. Um starting my business was like a risky and a big investment. You know, quitting my corporate job was a big investment or um a big risk. And yeah, um, it came with obviously tests and struggles, but uh extreme, extreme blessings on the other side of it, many gifts on the other side of that. You know, we spend so much of our lives thinking we're stuck because we're not trying hard enough or because we haven't healed enough. But real change doesn't happen, you know, through trying to fix ourselves. It happens when our internal world updates, when we become more of our authentic selves, when our emotional patterns start to shift, when our responses change, when we stop living from protection or survival and start living from connection and authenticity and intention. You know, the biggest misconception about transformation is that it's about doing more work and it's not. It's about coming back into clarity. It's about releasing what isn't yours. It's about upgrading the internal framework you're operating from. And when that shifts, the external world adjusts on its own. You stop attracting the same situations, you stop reacting the same way, you stop repeating the same story. This what is what breaks the cycle: not perfection, not constant self-improvement, not controlling every outcome. It's the moment when your internal patterns no longer match the life you used to tolerate. It's when you start making choices from the future instead of the past. It's when you stop abandoning yourself. That's when the timeline shifts. And that's what this work is really about. So it's not just healing trauma or regulating the body or doing ancestral work for the sake of it. It's about opening the door to a different life. It's about stepping into a version of yourself that is grounded, confident, connected, your true self and able to move through life with intention instead of survival. That's the path, that's the shift. So if you're listening to this and you feel like something in your life is ending, and if you feel like the old way isn't working anymore, or if you feel like there's something calling you into a new direction that's not random, that's not confusion, that's the beginning of a timeline shift. It means your old patterns are no longer running the show. And I just want to leave you with a question. What version of you is driving your life right now? The one built from past patterns, or the one that's pulling you into the future. Sit with that. Notice what comes up. You don't have to figure it all out today. You just have to notice where you're being asked to go. And if this episode resonated and you want to go deeper into this work, you can join me inside the Ancestral Alchemy program or work with me one-on-one or come to the Sedona retreat if you're craving a more immersive in-person experience. Both containers are designed for this exact process, uncovering what needs to be released, supporting you through the transition, and helping you step onto the path that's aligned for you. You can find all the details in the show notes, including the discount code and dates if you want to join the program before we begin. Thank you for being here. Thank you for doing the work. This is the era of people choosing real transformation over familiarity, and it's powerful to witness.
