SPEAKER_00:

Welcome to the Body Wisdom Rising podcast. I'm your host, Alyssa, and my intention here is to deliver grounded embodied insights alongside practical tools and resources to help you heal, awaken, and remember your sacred nature. This is rooted spirituality, bringing people back to their bodies, back to their roots, and back into connection with the ancestral ways that have always carried us, not spiritual fluff, not disconnected theory, weaving together the best of ancient wisdom and modern science, living, breathing practices and conversations that integrate healing, wellness, earth-based wisdom, and conscious growth. Each week I share space with experts in trauma recovery, holistic health, and ancestral ways of knowing, as well as voices with lived experience and powerful transformational stories. Together we explore what it truly means to rise rooted, embodied, and whole. And if you enjoy this episode, please take a moment to leave a five-star review as it helps these conversations reach the people who need them most. Let's get into the episode. Welcome back to another episode. I decided to record this episode because we are currently in one of the most significant shifts taking place this year. And that is Neptune entering into Aries today, January 26, 2026. So Neptune, the planet of dreams, vision, empathy, and our connection to the heart, is entering the sign of Aries. And this is not a small shift. So Neptune stays in a sign for around 14 years, which means when it changes signs, it marks the beginning of an entirely new collective chapter, something long-term, something generational, something that will shape how we dream, how we relate to meaning, and how we understand spirituality itself. And what makes this transition so significant is that Neptune is moving from the watery, emotional, and dissolving terrain of Pisces into the fire of Aries. So Aries brings action, initiation, courage, forward movement, warrior energy. So we're seeing this action-oriented, initiatory force being infused into something that has been deeply emotional, spiritual, and dream-based for a long time. So in its highest expression, Aries is the noble warrior. So clear about what it is fighting for, committed, focused, devoted, not aggressive for the sake of domination, but willing to take something all the way through in service of a higher calling. So it's about the willingness to stand alone for a vision, to initiate something that hasn't existed yet, and to imagine what has never been imagined, and to take responsibility for bringing it into form. So collectively, this shift marks the birth of spiritual warriors, not defined by force or conflict, but by courage, integrity, and devotion to truth. And this is the energy we're stepping into now. So we are going to get into the light and the shadow of this transit, who is going to be the most impacted by it, and how to actually work with this energy. But first, I do want to remind you that I am hosting a somatic breathwork journey on February 11th. It is a two-hour long session. So the first 30 minutes, we do a nice grounding practice to really drop into our bodies and go over the technique. It's a full hour-long journey with rhythmic music, uh, vocal cues. It is extremely powerful if you've never experienced a full breathwork journey before. And it's such a perfect time for it because everything that we've just been moving through, you know, it's been a really intense year and we're going through some pretty significant astrological uh transitions. And many of us are going through transitions in our life. So it just gives us an opportunity to drop out of our heads into our bodies, to connect back to ourselves, to process and move through just emotions, you know, that we haven't had a chance to process or move through. And often many people receive just powerful insights and clarity from these sessions. So if that calls to you, you can find more information in the show notes. And yeah, the last 30 minutes we we focus on shares and integration. If you can't make the live, you can still join because you will receive the recording and it's something that you're gonna want to go back to. Everyone who experiences breath work, these breath work sessions, they're blown away and they always want to return to the session again after to experience it again. So you'll be able to have that to return to uh whenever you want. So let's get back into the episode. So Aries is the first sign of the zodiac, it represents the moment of birth, the moment a new and separate consciousness emerges. It is the spark of life itself. So the sign of the ram carries forward-moving initiatory energy. It is instinctual and action-oriented. Aries doesn't overthink, and every planet that enters Aries goes through a kind of rebirth. So with Neptune entering Aries, we are stepping into the birth of a new collective dream where Neptune in Pisces invited us to dissolve, surrender, merge, and return to oneness. Neptune in Aries asks something very different of us. So it asks us to bring the dream into form through conscious action. So this is no longer about floating in the waters of spirituality or searching endlessly for transcendence. This is about initiation, about embodiment, and about beginning again. So during Neptune's time in Pisces, many of us learned how to let go. We learned how to trust divine timing. We learned how to release control and how to allow what was no longer aligned to fall away, often without knowing what would come next. So this long transit brought heightened empathy and sensitivity, but it also brought confusion, disorientation, and a sense of being lost at sea, especially as Neptune moved through the final degrees of Pisces. Many people have felt exhausted, unsure of who they are becoming. So Neptune and Aries marks the end of that dissolving chapter and the beginning of something new. So the focus shifts from returning to the collective womb, to individuating, to becoming who you are truly as an individual without losing your connection to the whole. So this transit asks us to act from the awareness that while we are not truly separate on a soul level, we are still here to live, choose, lead, and create as distinct beings. Aries resonates strongly with the archetype of the warrior. And this is not about aggression, domination, or force. In its highest expression, Ares is the noble warrior, clear intention, devoted to what it loves, willing to stand alone for what is true, not reckless, but courageous, not reactive, but directed. So Neptune and Ares calls forth this spiritual warrior archetype, someone who knows when to take action and when to wait, when to fight and when to surrender, when to hold steady and when to let go. And it reminds us that the most important battles are not fought outwardly, but inwardly. So this is a call to become aware of where we initiate from, whether our actions arise from fear, ego, urgency, or from integrity and alignment with the soul. So this transit asks us to bring spiritual ideals out of fantasy and into lived reality. Inspiration alone is no longer enough. Vision without embodiment will not hold, and faith without form becomes fantasy. Neptune may inspire the dream, but Aries demands that we live it, risk for it, and act on it. The same time, Neptune always carries shadow. So in Aries, that shadow can look like mistaking urgency for intuition, reactivity for guidance, or ego-driven action for divine mission. There is the potential to spiritualize conflict, to weaponize belief systems, or to justify destructive behavior through savior or victim narratives. This is why discernment becomes essential. Neptune and Aries teaches us to differentiate between fear-based reaction and true intuitive action, between unconscious escape and inspired courage. Becoming a spiritual warrior under this transit is not about being loud, dominant, or forceful. It's about acting in alignment with what is universally true, even when it's uncomfortable, even when it requires sacrifice, and even when it leads into uncertainty. Courage here is not about control, it's about devotion. Strength is not about power over others, it's about integrity with oneself. Neptune and Aries will inspire the birth of new movements, new visions, and new ways of living. But it will also test us deeply. It asks whether we are willing to embody the dream we claim to believe in, whether we can act with compassion and clarity, whether we can remain connected to the heart without bypassing responsibility. So ultimately, this transit teaches that spirituality is no longer something we retreat into. It is something we walk, choose, and live every day through our actions, our boundaries, our relationships, and our willingness to stand in truth without needing permission. So why this is historically significant and why this isn't an instant shift, let's talk about. So to really understand why this moment matters, it helps to zoom out and look at the history of Neptune and Aries. So Neptune doesn't move quickly, it stays in a sign for about 14 years, which means when it changes signs, it marks the beginning of an entire generational chapter, a long arc of collective evolution. The last time Neptune entered Aries was in the mid-1800s, specifically 1861, the same year the American Civil War began. So this is not about predictive astrology or saying history repeats itself in the same way, but it is important context because whenever Neptune, the planet of collective dreams, ideals, illusion, and spiritual longing move into Aries, the sign of action, identity, initiation, and conflict, humanity tends to wrestle with how vision gets translated into action. So Neptune and Aries asks, what are you willing to act on? And what are you willing to risk for what you believe is true? And this is why this ingress matters so deeply. It marks the birth of a new collective dream that will unfold over the next decade and beyond. This is a foundational reset, not a passing wave. And yet it's crucial to understand this will not feel immediate. Outer planet shifts are not light switches, they are slow ignitions. So right now, Neptune is only beginning its movement into Aries while much of the sky is still closing old cycles. Saturn is finishing Pisces, what many people feel as pressure at first, tension between what is dissolving and what has not yet fully formed. This energy becomes far more activated in April when multiple planets move into Aries, when several planets gather and a cardinal fire, sign momentum starts to build. So internal knowing turns into external action, direction sharpens, and movement becomes unavoidable, unavoidable. In January or February, if it doesn't feel like a clean breakthrough, that makes sense. This is the preparatory phase. So releasing what cannot travel forward and integrating the lessons from the Neptune and Saturn in Pisces transit. So by April, many will feel a deeper embodiment and alignment-driven momentum. And that is why integrity and discernment matter so much now. Because when the fire truly ignites, what you have clarified internally will determine how you will move forward. So let's talk about who this is going to impact the most and what to look for in your chart. So Neptune entering Aries affects everyone collectively, but some will feel it more personally. So look first at where Aries lives in your chart. You can always go to someone and get a chart reading as well then. So what house does it rule? That area of life is where Neptune begins a long initiation, dissolving old identities and asking for a new dream to be embodied. This transit is especially potent for those with cardinal placements. So Aries, Cancer, Libra, or Capricorn, and particularly in the early degrees right now. So cardinal signs will begin to feel this more intensely. And so those with strong Pisces placements may feel the completion of a long spiritual cycle and the call to act on what has been learned rather than remain in surrender. Anyone with Saturn Neptune aspects in their natal chart may experience this as a deep integration of dream and discipline, not as conflict, but as maturation. And if you're already in a Saturn or Neptune transit, such as like a Saturn return, a Neptune square, I'm entering a Neptune square, Neptune, or an opposition, this shift may feel like spiritual adulthood knocking at the door. So if you feel restless, if old identities are no longer fitting, if your tolerance for anything that isn't aligned is lower, if there's a pressure to step forward more honestly, that's the signature. And one of the most important lessons of Neptune and Aries is learning how to hold fire without being consumed by it. There is immense fire energy we are stepping into now, emotionally, psychologically, collectively, reactivity, polarization, rage cycles, fear loops, people pulled into constant urgency. So Neptune and Aries does not want chaotic warriors. This is that is not sovereignty. That is possession by the collective nervous system. Sovereign leadership begins with awareness. So where is your attention being pulled? Where is your energy leaking? What are you giving emotional bandwidth to that is not happening in your immediate reality? When we become consumed by distant narratives, especially online, our internal state shifts and we bring that energy into our relationships, our work, our communities. Fire spreads quickly. So you can care deeply and you can stand for something and you can stay informed without being consumed. So true sovereignty is the difference between conscious action and reactive participation. Sometimes fighting systems feeds them. And sometimes the most radical act is building something new. So this is the fork in the road. We can burn or we can forge. The work now is not endless reaction. The work is tending the vision. What are you building? What are you nourishing? What feeds your daily energy? What do you feed your daily energy to? Attention is energy. Unconscious attention becomes an energy leak. And sovereign leaders are not those who have to comment on everything. They are those who remain present, grounded, and humane while acting where their lives actually touch the world and standing for the things that they believe in. So this is spiritual responsibility. You don't have to carry the whole world, but you are responsible for the energy you bring into the parts of the world that you do touch. And the invitation is simple, even if it's not easy. Stop waiting for permission. Stop postponing embodiment to live your values, not just believe in them. Neptune and Aries marks the beginning of a long initiation, and how you meet it will shape not only your path, but the kind of world you help bring into being. So stay grounded, stay sovereign, and tend the vision you're here to carry. Thank you so much for listening. Love you guys, and I'll see you in the next episode.
