Body Wisdom Rising
Body Wisdom Rising is a podcast for people navigating deep change — awakenings, identity shifts, healing, and the sense that the old ways of living no longer work.
We’re living in a time of collective disillusionment and awakening. Many are being asked to slow down, feel more, and re-orient their lives — often without support from systems that were never designed for this kind of transformation.
This podcast offers a grounded way to make sense of these experiences by reconnecting to the body as teacher, the Earth as stabilizer, ancestral wisdom as context, and spiritual support rooted in lived experience.
I’m Alyssa Stefanson, Somatic and Ancestral Healing Guide, and host of Body Wisdom Rising. Each episode weaves together somatic healing, nervous system regulation, ancestral remembrance, and earth-based wisdom to support personal and collective healing.
We speak honestly about initiation, death-and-rebirth cycles, trauma, addiction, disconnection, and what becomes possible when familiar identities fall away and something deeper begins to emerge.
If you’re navigating change and looking for a grounded, embodied way to understand what’s happening — you’re in the right place.
Body Wisdom Rising — where remembering becomes medicine.

In Between Chapters: Surviving Eclipse Season
Use Left/Right to seek, Home/End to jump to start or end. Hold shift to jump forward or backward.
Eclipse season feels strange because we’re crossing a threshold where one story is ending while another is already beginning, and your body often registers the shift before your mind can explain it. We break down what eclipses actually are, why the North Node and South Node matter, and how to track real-life endings and openings without spiralling into fear.
• why eclipse season can feel foggy, emotional, and physically intense
• what a solar eclipse and lunar eclipse are in simple terms
• how the North Node and South Node describe growth versus the familiar
• what a South Node eclipse in Leo can complete around identity, attention, and performance
• what the Aquarius Leo nodal cycle asks of us around community, belonging, and contribution
• how Pisces Virgo themes show up as control versus surrender, structure versus flow
• how to use your birth chart, degrees, houses, and aspects to see what you’ll feel most
• what conjunctions, oppositions, and squares to an eclipse can bring up
• practical ways to move through eclipse season with discernment, rest, and journaling
• past eclipse cycles to review so you can spot repeating patterns and turning points
It would mean the world to me if you just take a quick moment to leave a review.
All the information for the calling is in the show notes. We start September 3rd.

Welcome, Reviews, Why This Matters
SPEAKER_00Welcome to Body Wisdom Rising. I'm your host, Alyssa. We're living at a profound turning point in humanity, a collective choice point where old systems are dissolving, and many of us are being called to wake up, heal, and step into deeper alignment with who we truly are. On this podcast, we explore consciousness, healing, ancestral wisdom, and the initiations that shape our lives. We also explore how to navigate times of great change and what it means when healing begins to open the door to deeper questions. Who am I really? Why am I here? And how am I being called to serve in this moment of history? Here we talk about the collective themes unfolding in our world and how each of us can learn to meet them with greater awareness, embodiment, and courage. Because real transformation doesn't just happen in the mind, it happens through the body. If you're on a path of awakening, healing, remembering, and perhaps stepping into service, you're in the right place. This is Body Wisdom Rising. Welcome to anyone who is new here. And for those of you who keep returning to each episode, thank you so much. I so appreciate you being here. And for those of you who did take the time to leave a review, I just want to say thank you. It really helps the podcast grow and reach more people. And for anyone who is receiving value and has not had a chance yet, it would mean the world to me if you just take a quick moment to leave a review. It does not take much of your time, and it really does make a difference.
Eclipse Season Between Chapters
SPEAKER_00So we're in a really interesting eclipse season right now because we're not just moving between eclipses, we're between chapters. So one eclipse story is coming to an end while another one is already beginning. So we spent the last year and a half moving through the Pisces Virgo eclipse story, and we're not completely finished with it yet. We have this Pisces eclipse coming up August 27th into the 28th. And then in February 2027, we have one final Virgo eclipse. But at the same time, the nodes have already shifted. So the North Node has moved into Aquarius and the South Node into Leo, which means that we're beginning an entirely new, roughly 18-month cycle. So there's this overlap happening. One chapter is closing while another chapter has already started. And I think it's just such a good way to understand why eclipse season can feel a bit strange. Often it can feel like there's this fog, this in between, you might feel more emotional, more tired, more sensitive. Maybe you're feeling things physically. I know that I am. Maybe your sleep's been off, maybe your body's been achy, or things might be changing really quickly in your life. So maybe a relationship changes, something ends, someone new comes in, an opportunity appears, something you've wanted for years suddenly doesn't feel that important anymore. And you know that you're done with something, but you don't know what you're going to be doing next. Or maybe nothing huge has changed externally yet. You just have this really strong feeling that something is changing. And that's what we're going to talk about today because I want you to leave this episode actually understanding eclipse season rather than being afraid of it or reading another horoscope telling you something enormous is about to happen. We're going to talk about what an eclipse actually is. So, what the north node and south nodes are, why eclipses happen around the nodes, why astrologers pay so much attention to them, what it means when we're when we've just had a south node eclipse in Leo and we're moving toward a north node eclipse in Pisces. We're going to talk about the bigger shift that's happening from Pisces Virgo into Aquarius Leo and what those signs actually represent. And I'm going to show you how to look at your own birth chart and figure out where these eclipses are happening for you, what it means if an eclipse is hitting your sun, moon, rising sign, or one of your planets, what a conjunction, opposition, or square to an eclipse can look like, who is likely to feel these eclipses the most. And we're going to talk about what you might actually experience around eclipse season. So endings, new beginnings, relationships changing, new people coming in, opportunities, physical sensitivity, the fog, the feeling that something is changing before you know what it is. And we're going to talk about some of the history around eclipses because humans have been paying attention to these things for thousands of years. So where did this idea of staying inside come from? Should you try manifesting during eclipse? What can you actually do instead? And I'm going to give you some practices and journal prompts. And I'm going to give you previous eclipse periods you can go back and look at in your own life. And then toward the end, I'm going to take you through some of my own eclipse history because some of the biggest turning points of my entire life happened during eclipse periods that were directly activating my chart. And when I look back now, I can see the pattern much more clearly than I could while I was actually in it, just because I'm more aware and I follow these cycles now. So we're going to get into all of it today.
The Calling And Chart-Based Healing
SPEAKER_00Before we get into that, one final reminder about the calling, because this is actually so connected to the kind of work we're talking about today. Everyone who signs up for the calling receives their own evolutionary astrology a reading right away. And I just sent a whole bunch of readings out to the women who are already inside. One of the biggest things I've been hearing back is how seen they feel, how much the chart reflects what they've actually lived through. So just different, whether it's relationship patterns, the things they've struggled with, things that have repeated, the places where they feel stuck, and also the parts of themselves that they've always known were there, but maybe haven't really had the language for it. And that's what I love about evolutionary astrology. So we're not just looking at your sun sign and telling you what kind of person you are. We're looking at your chart and your life. Why do certain patterns keep repeating? Why have certain relationships been so significant? Why does one area of your life keep bringing you the same lesson? Where do you naturally go when you're scared, when you feel stuck? Where are you being asked to grow? Why have certain relationships been so significant? And what are some of the deeper gifts you're carrying that maybe you haven't fully stepped into yet? And one of the biggest things we look at in evolutionary astrology is Pluto. So Pluto can show us some of the deepest patterns that we're carrying, where there's a lot of intensity, where there can be attachment, fear, control, power, loss, the places where we can keep repeating something, even when consciously we know we don't want to keep repeating it. But Pluto is also really connected to really deep transformation. And then we also look at your south node, your north node, Pluto's polarity point, and the rulers of the nodes. And when we start putting those pieces together, we get a much bigger picture of your own individual story. So that's the first trimester of the calling. That's what really what we're focused on. We're going deep into Pluto, the South Node, the North Node, and Pluto's polarity point. And then we move into Saturn, where we look at some of our deeper wounds, conditioning and limitations, and Uranus, where we look at awakening, liberation, and where we're being called to break free. And then we also move into your gifts. And what I really want people to understand is that you're not just learning what these planets mean. So it's not an astrology course about learning how to read your chart. It's about how to actually work with your chart, how to actually do the work that's being asked of you. So every month you're getting material that helps you understand what you're working with in relationship to your own chart. So it's very individual. Then the second trimester, we start going much deeper into shadow work, not just the parts of ourselves that stay hidden because they're dark and we don't want to see them. We also get into golden shadow. So the parts of ourselves that we've pushed away that may actually hold our power, our creativity, our visibility, our leadership, our voice, the parts of ourselves that maybe felt like they were too much, too bold, too different, too powerful. And sometimes what we've pushed into the shadow isn't something bad. Sometimes it's the part of us we've been scared to fully become. Then we move into the last part of the program where we go deeper into the dream work, the subconscious symbolism, synchronicity, and the more spiritual dimensions of this work. Because Young talked so much about this process of individuation. And really it's about becoming more fully yourself, you know, not this version of you that you learn to become so people would like you, all these different personas and masks that we wear from our conditioning, societal, family, family, cultural, these identities that we built because, you know, we thought this is what we needed to be to be successful, but actually coming back into relationship with the deeper self. I know one thing in my own life is that when I when I dedicated myself to doing this work, that's when things really shifted in my life. And of course, there is like the peeling away, the letting go, shedding things that aren't truly us. And the reality is if we don't actually choose to do this work, that's often when when it feels like it's almost being forced out of our lives, right? When we're not listening to our soul. That's often why people have these like major disruptive moments in their lives. That was my experience, you know, in 2017, 2018, when I literally had the floor ripped out from under me, like everything in my life collapsed. I was being pushed onto this path. It was like time, like my soul was waking me up. And so we could choose to do this work on our own. Andor we can, you know, get hit by the spiritual two by four, four is what I like to call it. But really, when I dedicated myself to this work, that was when when I got onto the path that my soul chose to be on before I even incarnated here. That's when things started aligning and doors started opening. It almost feels like it's not that it's it doesn't require effort, but it feels a lot easier and more effortless being on the path that your soul actually chose. That's when wild synchronicities start happening. People start coming into your life, doors start opening that you couldn't have even forced. And like with these wild, magical unicorn type things start happening. You know, that's it's definitely what has happened in my own life. And for many, many people that I've talked to, it's actually just having um a conversation with another woman on my podcast regarding this exact same topic. You know, it's like you start meeting people you never would have planned to meet, and it just keeps happening in my life. It just keeps accelerating more and more. You know, things just line up in ways that we could never have forced. And I really think that's you know what people are trying to describe when they talk about manifestation. I actually don't believe manifestation is about manifesting anything that we want. I believe manifestation is actually getting aligned with our soul's blueprint and our soul's desires. Cause sure, yes, we can hustle and we can push and we can grind and we can try and create this life that we think we should want or that we think we should have because that's what we see on social media, or that's what we've been conditioned to believe that we should want. But often when we achieve those things, it it's not fulfilling. But when we actually align with our soul's calling, our soul's blueprint, our soul's purpose, we start to manifest things a lot easier and they feel deeply fulfilling and deeply in alignment with who we truly are. And that's really the heart of the calling. So we have one call that's a teaching, one call where we go deeper into experiential practices and work together, partner exercises, working as a group. And then we also do a ceremony every single month. And everyone is also going to have a plant ally that they're working with. And this plant is chosen in relationship to their individual chart and what they're working with. So we're weaving in plant allies, elements, astrology, depth work, ceremony, semantics. Because I don't want this just to be a nine month of just intellectually understanding yourself. I want you to actually work with what you're learning, to live it, to experience it, to let it change the way that you're moving through life. And that's why it's spread out over nine months as well. It's not meant to be rushed. It's almost like a gestation, a rebirth, a process of shedding that doesn't fit anymore. Remembering who you are and making room for what wants to come through next. So if you've been feeling like you're standing at one of those thresholds in your own life, all the information for the calling is in the show notes. We start September 3rd. So I hope to see you there. Okay,
Eclipses Explained Without Fear
SPEAKER_00let's get into these eclipses. So let's make this really simple. You know how every month we have a new moon and full moon. So think of an eclipse as basically a new moon or full moon on steroids, but there's an actual astronomical reason an eclipse is different from an ordinary new or full moon. So a solar eclipse happens at the new moon. The moon moves between the earth and the sun, and from certain places on the earth, it blocks part or all of the sun. That's why the sky can actually darken during a solar eclipse. A lunar eclipse happens at a full moon, and the earth comes between the sun and the moon, and the earth's shadow falls across the moon. So that's why during certain lunar eclipses, the moon can become dark or reddish, but we obviously have new and full moons every month. We don't have eclipses every month. Why? Because of the nodes. So the north and south nodes aren't planets, they're points. They're two places where the orbit of the moon crosses the path the Earth and Sun appear to make through the sky. And you really don't need to understand the astronomy behind that for this conversation. What matters is that eclipses happen when a new moon or full moon occurs close enough to one of these nodes. So that's why astrologers connect eclipses so strongly with the north and south nodes. And in evolutionary astrology, the nodes are incredibly important. At the simplest level, I think of the south node as what do I already know? What patterns am I familiar with? What comes very naturally to me? What do I keep going back to? Where can I get stuck because it's familiar? What have I done over and over again? So the South Node isn't bad. This is really important. There can be enormous gifts in the south node. We've developed something there. But because it's so familiar, we can keep repeating it long after it stops helping us. The north note is different. The north note is where we are growing. So it tends to be to feel less familiar. It can stretch us, it can bring experiences, people, and circumstances into our lives that take us somewhere new. And this is where the language around eclipses come from. So a very simple way of remembering it is for the south node, what is being eclipsed out? North node, what is being eclipsed in? That's just simplified astrology, obviously. It doesn't mean every south node eclipse takes something from you or every north node eclipse delivers something wonderful, but it's really useful way to start looking at the story. So
South Node Leo What Leaves
SPEAKER_00we just had a south node eclipse in Leo on August 12th. So what could being eclipsed out actually mean in real life? It could be very obvious. A relationship ends, you leave a job, a friendship completes, you move, a business relationship ends, something you've been working on comes to completion, but sometimes nothing physically leaves immediately. So you might just realize this feeling of I'm done. You don't want the relationship anymore. You don't want your business that way anymore. You don't care about somebody's approval anymore. Something you've spent years trying to achieve suddenly doesn't feel that important. A role you've played forever starts exhausting you. Something that you've tolerated, that you've put up with for years suddenly becomes intolerable. Maybe you've always been the one who holds everybody together and you don't want to anymore. Maybe you've always been the person who doesn't need anything and that identity is cracking. Maybe you've been performing a version of yourself online, professionally, spiritually, or relationally that no longer feels true to you. Maybe an old coping mechanism stops working. Maybe something you were obsessed with six months ago suddenly has no energy. So that's a completion, too. Sometimes the internal release happens first and then the external life catches up. So why does Leo matter? Because this South Node eclipse happened in Leo. So Leo has to do with the heart, creative expression, being seen, recognition, leadership, taking up space, our individual expression, the things that we create, our relationship with attention. There is a beautiful side of Leo, but every sign has a shadow. So with the South Node moving through Leo, some of the questions might be: where am I performing? Where am I needing recognition? Where am I trying to prove myself? Where has my identity become too dependent on how other people see me? Am I creating because something genuines come through me or because I need a response? What role am I tired of playing? Where am I holding on to an identity that has already run its course? That's one shadow side of Leo. Also, another shadow side of Leo would be where am I blocking my creative expression? Where am I holding myself back? Where am I keeping myself small because I'm afraid of what people will think of me? And then on the other side of the axis is Aquarius. So we've now entered a new Aquarius-Leo nodal cycle. So the North Node is in Aquarius, the South Node is in Leo. And we're going to be working with this axis for roughly the next 18 months. Aquarius has a very different energy. So Aquarius has to do with community, groups, friendships, networks, the collective, new ideas, innovation, the future, doing things differently, finding people who actually understand you, contributing something that goes beyond yourself. So collectively, one way I would think about this new chapter is where are we moving from me toward we? Not losing individuality, but asking, where do I belong? Who are my people? What am I here to contribute? What communities am I part of? What kind of future am I helping create? Where do I need to stop performing for attention and start creating from something real? Where am I being introduced to new people, communities, and networks that may become important in this next chapter? That's the larger Aquarius-Leo story that we're beginning. But uh
Aquarius Leo Begins, Pisces Virgo Ends
SPEAKER_00Pisces Virgo isn't completely finished. And this is why this particular eclipse season feels so much like an in-between because the nodes have shifted into Aquarius Leo, but we're still finishing eclipses from the Pisces Virgo story. So on August 27th into the 28th, we're having a lunar eclipse around four degrees Pisces. And then in February 2027, we have one final Virgo eclipse. So one story isn't completely finished before another one begins. So there is an overlap. Pisces Virgo is closing, Aquarius Leo is beginning. And if your life feels like that right now, that makes a lot of sense symbolically. So something is ending, something else is beginning, but you may not completely understand either one yet. So what has Pisces Virgo been about? Think about the last year and a half of your life. So Pisces and Virgo are very different, but they balance each other. Virgo wants order, structure, discernment, routine, practicality, the body, health, work, daily life, what actually works, what doesn't, what needs to be cleaned up. Pisces has much more to do with surrender, intuition, spirituality, dreams, creativity, grief, the unconscious, trust, mystery, letting go. So this axis can bring up the tension between control and surrender, structure and flow, logic and intuition, doing and being, what we can organize and what we simply cannot control. And now we're finally getting this final Pisces lunar eclipse. So the eclipse, the August Pisces eclipse, this is happening around four degrees Pisces, and it's a north node eclipse. So now we're moving from the eclipse in Leo, the south node eclipse in Leo. So what is leaving into a north node eclipse in Pisces? What is coming in? This is where I start paying attention to new people, new opportunities, new relationships, new friendships, new clients, new teachers, invitations, new places, creative ideas, spiritual openings, unexpected conversations, something coming into your life that changes where you thought that you that you were going. And again, not everything that appears during an eclipse is fate, but pay pay attention, especially with Pisces. Pay attention to your dreams, pay attention to what you keep thinking about, pay attention to what you're intuitively drawn to. Pay attention to synchronicities, pay attention to what appears unexpectedly. But Pisces also has a shadow, and that is fantasy, projection, escaping, idealizing, convincing ourselves that something is intuition because we desperately want it to be true. So we need still need discernment here. Notice first, decide later who is going to feel these eclipses the most. So this is where you actually need your birth chart. You don't only look at your sun sign. So your sun matters, of course, but so does your moon, your rising sign, your midheaven, your north and south nodes, and your planets. And the degree matters too. So this is where astrology gets much more specific. So the Leo eclipse was around 20 degrees Leo. So if you have something around that degree of Leo, there's a conjunction. The eclipse is sitting right on that part of your chart. If you have something around 20 degrees Aquarius, that's an opposition. So my sun is 19 degrees Aquarius. So this is in almost direct opposition with my sun sign. The February eclipse that's happening in Aquarius, that will actually be within, I believe what? Is it one or two? Possibly two, two degrees, I believe, of my sun sign. So that will really impact me. I know that this access really impacts me. I have proof looking back in my own life. So if you have something around 20 degrees Taurus or Scopio, that's a square. And those are the fixed signs. So Leo, Aquarius, Taurus, Scorpio, those people may feel the eclipse more strongly, particularly if they have important placements close to the eclipse degree. And the closer the degree, generally, the stronger I pay attention. So if it's exactly on your sun, I'm paying attention, exactly on your moon, I'm paying attention, your ascendant, absolutely. Your mid-heaven, yes, your nodes, yes. What do the aspects actually mean? And let's make this simple too. So a conjunction means the eclipse is basically sitting on top of something in your chart. That's a very direct activation. An opposition means it's directly across from something in your chart. So oppositions can often show up through relationships, other people, or circumstances that force us to see something. A square creates tension, can bring pressure. Something needs to um, something needs movement, something can't continue exactly as it has. Then you also have trines and sextiles, which tend to be easier aspects. Sometimes those can correspond with openings, support, or movement that feels less disruptive. But yeah, I wouldn't only ask if this is a good aspect or a bad aspect. I'd ask what is being activated. So if it's hitting your sun, identity, direction, vitality, your sense of who you are, your moon, your emotional life, home, family, safety, mothering, inner world, your ascendant, you, identity, your body, how you're moving through the world, sometimes how other people are experiencing you. Mid-heaven is career, public life, visibility, direction, your work in the world, Venus, relationships, love, values, money, what you desire, Mars, action, drive, anger, desire, sexuality, how you go after what you want. And then we also look at the house too, because the house tells you where in your life this is happening. So that's why generic eclipse horoscopes can only tell so much. So many people like they look at the collective themes that there's collective themes that are happening absolutely, but it's it's very individual. Not every single eclipse is going to impact you the same. Some are going to impact you significantly, others you won't feel so much. It's super individual. And so
Find Eclipse Hits In Your Chart
SPEAKER_00this Pisces eclipse is happening around four degrees Pisces. So I would look particularly at the early degrees of Pisces, Virgo, Gemini, Sagittarius. Again, especially your sun, moon, rising, mid-heaven nodes, and personal planets. If you have something very close to four degrees of those signs, pay attention and then look at which house contains that degree of Pisces. So that's where the story may be unfolding. So what might you actually experience? And this is the part that I want to normalize. You might have something very obvious happen, an ending, a beginning, a move, a breakup, a new relationship, a new job, a career shift, a major conversation, an unexpected opportunity, somebody significant comes into your life. But it can also be internal. You feel emotional, you feel disoriented, your dreams become intense, maybe old memories resurface, you suddenly see a pattern you've been repeating for years, you feel like you're grieving something you can't completely name quite yet. You know that you're done with something, you feel pulled towards something new, you want more space, you need more rest, you don't feel like yourself, or you feel more like yourself than you have in years, and suddenly the life around you doesn't really fit. That's important too. And so, what about physical symptoms? I hear people talk about this all the time around eclipses, and I really felt this one: feeling exhausted, sleep disruption, headaches, more emotional sensitivity, more tension, feeling physically off. I've definitely had more of just body pain. Um, so definitely pay attention to that. Definitely take care of your health, drink more water. Um, you know, see someone if you need to. Listen to your body. What does my body need? Where am I feeling exhausted? What pace isn't working for me? Where do I need more rest? Where am I overriding myself? Especially if the eclipse is activating your first sixth or twelve. So mine's activating my sixth house. That's why I'm really feeling it in my body. Or if it's making a close aspect to something connected with the body, I would simply become more curious about what your body is communicating to you. So, what did
What You May Feel Physically
SPEAKER_00ancient cultures actually do during eclipses? So, this is interesting because humans have been watching eclipses for, you know, thousands of years. They've been paying attention. And many cultures did treat them as very significant events, but there wasn't, there isn't one universal ancient belief. So, in some, um, eclipses would be interpreted as warnings or omens, particularly around rulers and elaborate rituals developed around them. Some they carry enormous meaning and there were rituals associated with them. But within, yeah, different traditions, you'll find, you know, different practices, whether it's involving prayer, fasting, purification, staying indoors and avoiding certain activities during eclipses. So the idea of pulling inward during an eclipse definitely has historical roots. But I wouldn't say that like every ancient culture believed you weren't allowed outside. That's not necessarily true. So there's an important difference between solar and lunar eclipses when it comes to actually looking at them. You can safely look at a lunar eclipse. They say you should never stare directly at a solar eclipse. So, what you should you actually do? Personally, I think eclipse seasons is more about listening internally rather than forcing. You don't need to be afraid and you don't need to perform some massive ritual either. Just slow down, turn your phone off for a while, journal, pray, meditate, chant, take a bath, rest, sleep if you're exhausted, spend some time alone, do gentle breath work that feels good. Pay attention to your dreams, pay attention to your body, pay attention to what you're moving through, maybe you're grieving. Pay attention to what suddenly feels like it's complete, especially around a north node eclipse. Pay attention to what's appearing. Who are you meeting? What opportunities are coming in, what conversations are happening, what's suddenly calling your attention. And you don't have to act on everything. Just start noticing, journaling about it. And don't only look forward, look backward. This is one of the most useful things you can do.
History, Do’s, Journal Prompts
SPEAKER_00Go back through previous eclipse cycles. So for this new Aquarius Leo chapter, look particularly at 2017, 2018. So the nodes were on the Aquarius Leo access then, but they were reversed from where they are right now. Then look backward around 2007, 2009. And if you're old enough to remember 1998 to 2000, just ask what was happening in my life. Who entered, who left, where was I living? What happened in my relationships? What happened with work? What changed in my identity? What major beginning happened? What major ending happened? Was there something that seemed terrible at that time that I now understand differently? Did something enter my life that ended up being incredibly significant? And then do the same thing with the Pisces Virgo. Look back at the previous periods where that access was strongly activated and see whether you recognize themes. For me, my daughter was born in 2008. So 2007, I actually ended up losing my best friend in a car accident. And then shortly after, about a month later, I found out I was pregnant with my daughter. And then I gave birth to my daughter in 2008. The eclipse that actually was one degree in February 2008 from my sun sign. So it happened like the day before my birthday. I announced to my whole family that I was pregnant with my daughter. And it was quite shocking for me at that time because I was single. I was on my own. I, you know, found out I was pregnant when I was only 20, announced on my 21st birthday. And um, so it was quite shocking. But obviously, she's been the greatest gift in my life. You know, her her coming into my life has just been one of the greatest blessings. And then 2017 to 2018, when the nodes were reversed, I talk about the story a lot, right around uh the August eclipse was when literally the ground was ripped out from under me. Everything in my life fell apart. I left a really horrible relationship that I was in, that I needed to leave. Um, but I left with no belongings, moved into an empty apartment, and then I ended up losing my job a month later. And then in the eclipse, February, that happened right around, well, within a couple of weeks of my 31st birthday. That was when I um got sober when I hit rock bottom with my addiction and I ended up getting sober. I actually had my spiritual awakening at that time. So this axis impacts me very deeply. I know that. So I can very much feel that something is happening, is changing, is shifting in my life. And they were often things that when they happened, I thought they were terrible, but they were the greatest things that ended up happening in my life, the greatest blessings of my life. Of course, my daughter coming into my life, and then, you know, hitting rock bottom that put me on the trajectory and the path that I'm on today. I wouldn't be here on this doing this podcast if it wasn't for uh those experiences. And so some journal prompts for this eclipse season. So start with what is clearly completing in my life? What am I no longer willing to carry? What am I tired of pretending that I still want? What role am I ready to stop playing? What am I being asked to let go of? And then move toward the north node. What's entering my life right now? Who am I meeting? What opportunities are appearing? What feels new? What keeps getting my attention? What am I dreaming about? What feels alive? What doors are opening? And then look backward. What was happening the last time this access was active? What began then? What ended? What did I not understand at the time that makes sense now? Is there a similar theme coming back around? Watch over the next six months. The eclipse itself obviously doesn't last six months, and the actual eclipse season is several weeks, but astrologically, I would watch what unfolds over approximately the next six months. Something might happen on the eclipse, but it doesn't have to. You might meet somebody two weeks later. An opportunity might develop next month. A decision you make right now might change your life four months from now. So something that feels insignificant right now might look completely different when you look backward. And, you know, you don't have to become obsessed with it, what happened on eclipse day, but watch the chapter unfolding. And that's really just what I want you to, yeah, remember during this eclipse season. Pay attention without needing to know exactly what everything means quite yet. We're between chapters right now. This Pisces Virgo is completing, Aquarius Leo is beginning, something may be leaving, something else may already be coming in. You may feel clear, you may feel completely foggy, your life may be changing quickly, or the changes may be happening internally before anything external moves. Don't force it. Notice what is leaving, what is arriving, who are you meeting, what doors are opening, what keeps coming up, what is your body saying, what feels complete, what suddenly has more life. Write it down and watch what happens over the next six months because sometimes the event happens first and we understand what it means later on. All right, thank you so much for tuning in, and we'll see you in the next episode.
