Take a deep breath and step into a sanctuary of calm with this special meditation episode designed to restore your center when life feels overwhelming.
Your Ritual Nurse Riva guides you through a soothing 15-minute practice combining breathwork, progressive body relaxation, and a powerful visualization journey. Beginning with a simple 4-5-6 breathing pattern, you'll feel tension melting away as relaxation cascades from your crown to your toes, creating space for deeper peace.
The heart of this meditation transports you to a mystical forest clearing where an ancient, magnificent tree awaits—a living metaphor for your own unwavering strength and resilience. As you connect with this tree, something magical happens: a unique symbolic object appears, offering personal insight and guidance. Many listeners report profound revelations from this object, which often symbolizes exactly what they need in their current life chapter.
Through gentle affirmations like "I am in control of my breath, I am in control of my mind," you'll reinforce your inherent power to stand firm amid life's storms. This meditation doesn't just offer temporary relief; it provides a sacred inner space you can return to whenever you need grounding.
The episode concludes with a crystal oracle reading featuring Flower Agate, encouraging self-growth and manifestation. "Time to grab life by the petals and manifest like a boss," as the oracle card suggests—perfect synchronicity with the meditation's themes of rooting down to rise up.
Ready to discover what symbolic object awaits you in the forest clearing? Listen now, and don't forget to join us next week for another unique guided meditation. Protect your peace—because you can't nurture others until you've nurtured yourself first.

Preparation for Guided Meditation
Progressive Body Relaxation
Speaker 1Welcome to the Ritual Nurse, where healing meets humor, science and a touch of magic. Hi, this is a special episode of the Meditation Tapes and I'm your ritual nurse, reva. In a few moments, we're going to go on a guided journey together. This is your moment to pause, to breathe and to reclaim your center. You give so much, but right now, this time, is just for you. There's nothing you need to do, nothing you need to fix Simply be here with yourself in this space of calm and restoration. We're going to start with breath work and progressive body relaxation. You're going to breathe in through your nose for a count of four, hold for a count of five and exhale for a count of six. It doesn't need to be perfect. If the count is distracting you or stressing you out, then simply breathe naturally in through your nose and out your mouth in a slow and relaxed fashion. Find a comfortable position sitting, laying whatever speaks to you. Right now you need to be able to relax your body body, so make sure you are supported and comfortable. This will be about 15 minutes, just so you know you can stop at any time you need to. Okay, let's get started. Take a deep breath in and then hold Slowly exhale through the mouth, counting to six Again. Inhale deeply, feeling the air fill your lungs, holding it lightly, and then slowly exhale through the mouth, feeling your breath slowly. Leave Now one more time.
Speaker 1Breathe in deep, filling your lungs, expanding your ribs, your ribs. Pause and exhale fully, softening your shoulders, releasing the weight of the day. Now bring your awareness to the very top of your head, your crown. Imagine a gentle warmth like the soft glow of the sun or the embrace of a warm breeze, settling there With each breath. Let that warmth travel down, softening the muscles of your forehead, your temples. Let any tension in your brow melt away, as if it's being carried off by a gentle current. Feel your jaw unclench, the muscles in your cheeks soften your tongue, resting lightly in the roof of your mouth. Breathe in and exhale all tightness, continuing to breathe softly and relaxed. Now let this relaxation travel down into your neck and your shoulders, where so much of the day's weight is carried. Feel your shoulders drop and relax With your next exhale. Imagine warm, flowing water washing over you, carrying away all strain and stress. Continue to feel your shoulders drop even more, relaxing the burden you do not have to carry right now. Let this relaxation flow down into your arms through your elbows, your wrists and your hands. Feel the tension drip from your fingertips like water, gently trickling as you exhale With your next breath.
Speaker 1Draw your awareness into your chest. Notice the steady rise and fall of your breath. The rhythm of life sustaining you. The rhythm of life sustaining you. Imagine each inhale filling you with calm and each exhale releasing heaviness like a gentle tide pulling away all that is unnecessary.
Speaker 1Now bring your attention to your abdomen. Soften your belly. Let it be easy. Let it be light. If there's tightness, imagine it dissolving like mist in the morning sun.
Forest Clearing Visualization
Speaker 1As you inhale, notice how your abdomen gently rises, the breath moving through your chest and all the way into your belly. Chest and all the way into your belly, flowing easily in and out. As you inhale, you hold gently and you exhale. Do this several times until you can feel your breath moving through your throat, down into your chest and filling your belly without any resistance. And with each exhale, feel your muscles relaxing, softening the negative energy draining away from you, the negative energy draining away from you. Feel this warmth and release, moving down into your hips as your hips soften and relax, into your thighs as the muscles release their tension, any heaviness here. Let it flow away like water gently cascading down a stream. Continue to feel this warmth and the release of energy as it moves down into your knees, your calves, feel yourself becoming lighter, more at ease, feeling your legs relax and become heavier. And finally, let this wave of relaxation settle in your feet, all the way down to your toes, your feet all the way down to your toes. With each breath, you feel more rooted, more steady, more in control of your body, your energy and your presence. Again, inhale deeply, Inhale deeply, drawing in new energy and new strength. Let it travel with your breath from your crown through your shoulders, your chest, filling your belly, down through your legs and to your feet, and exhale to your feet and exhale, releasing tension, stress and all that no longer serves you. You feel connected, you feel supported and you feel grounded.
Affirmations and Heart Centering
Speaker 1I want you to imagine yourself standing in a quiet, peaceful place. It could be a room, a garden near the ocean, an open field, a forest. Whatever this place appears as to you, it is quiet, still peaceful, and the edges are shrouded in a soft mist that hides everything behind it. You feel completely and utterly safe in this place. You are protected, warm, comfortable and secure In the mist. You see a door. It is inviting and you feel drawn to open it. When you do, you see an ancient forest clearing on the other side. I want you to step through the door into the clearing Before you.
Speaker 1A magnificent tree stands tall, strong, unwavering. Its roots stretch deep into the earth, grounded and unshakable. Its branches reach toward the sky, open yet steady. Its bark is strong and beautiful, unique to the touch. You place your hand on its trunk and allow yourself to connect to it. You can feel its strength, the calm weight of its branches and leaves. Above you, beautiful foliage gently moving in an unseen breeze. This space, this connection feels like home. This tree is you, powerful, rooted, unbreakable.
Speaker 1Now imagine that with each inhale, you draw energy from the earth Solid, steady, nourishing energy. It rises through your feet, up your spine, filling you with strength. With every exhale, you release what no longer serves you Stress, fear, exhaustion, letting it flow out like leaves carried by the wind. Breathe in strength and exhale, release, release. Breathe in, feeling the warmth and the radiation of the energy moving up your feet and into your core, grounding you, securing you. And as you exhale, let your shoulders relax and release the tension, the stress, feeling it, unwind and uncurl within you and exit and flow away from you. You are connected to something greater than the momentary chaos of life. Here, in this space, you are grounded, you are whole and you are centered.
Speaker 1Now repeat, silently or aloud, letting each word settle around you like an embrace. I am in control of my breath. I am in control of my mind. No matter what storms come, I stand firm, like the tree rooted and resilient. I release what is outside my control and focus on what is within my power. I am calm, with grace and strength. Let these words sink in like seeds planted in fertile soil around the tree, ready to grow into beautiful blossoms or blooms full of unwavering and flexible resilience.
Crystal Oracle and Weekly Guidance
Speaker 1Now bring your awareness to your heart center. Place the other hand over your chest, if that feels good. Imagine a warm, golden light radiating from your heart Steady, strong and endlessly compassionate. This is your core, your center, no matter what happens around you. You can return to this place. Take a slow, deep breath in feeling the warmth and peace spread throughout your body as you exhale. Let go of any tension, any weight, any emotional storm that does not belong to you. Feel lighter and steadier. You can feel a soft glow come from the ancient tree, Softly moving your hand from its trunk. You realize you have an item in your hand. You place that item in your pocket, if you have one, or just hold onto it. Inhale slowly, visualizing the soft glow of the tree matching the soft glow from your heart center.
Speaker 1Slowly exhale, feeling gratitude and peace. Silently, you go back through the doorway, knowing that you can always find your way to it and go through it again. It will always be there for you, unlocked, welcoming and safe. Unlocked, welcoming and safe. You are back in the original place you started at. The mist has filled the edges. It is still quiet and peaceful. You feel safe. You feel secure. The mist has filled the edges and it draws close to you. Warm, comforting feelings surround you.
Speaker 1You inhale softly and as you exhale you close your eyes, remember to breathe. Take a few breaths, or as many as you need. Then slowly bring your awareness back to the present moment, slowly wiggle your fingers and toes gently, softly moving your arms or legs. You feel the support beneath you. When you are ready, take one final slow, deep breath in feeling your belly expand, and exhale with a soft sigh of gratitude. Know this. You are strong, you are capable and you are enough. Carry this sense of calm and resilience with you as you move forward. When you're ready, open your eyes and return to the world steady and centered.
Speaker 1When you can write down what the object was, what it felt like to you, what color it was, size, texture, did you recognize it? Was it unknown to you? Over the next week or so, write down more thoughts about this object and what its significance might be to you. You can always reach out to me by email or on socials and share what you experienced or maybe what your object was. If I can help you clarify it or understand it better, I'd be delighted to. As always, before we leave, I want to do an oracle poll for you, for your crystal prescription of the week.
Episode Closing and Next Week Preview
Speaker 1So for this week, with our crystal oracle deck. It is flower agate and the word on the card is fluorescence. It's absolutely stunning and shows three blooms made out of flower agate. This signifies self-growth, motivation and manifestation, and it says get ready to bloom. Flower agate is here to push you to manifest your wildest dreams. Time to grab life by the petals and manifest like a boss, like a blooming garden. Let this card awaken your motivation, nurture your inner self and cultivate self-growth. Speak your dreams out into the universe, because within you lies the potential to flourish in ways you never thought possible.
