Heliox: Where Evidence Meets Empathy π¨π¦β¬
We make rigorous science accessible, accurate, and unforgettable.
Produced by Michelle Bruecker and Scott Bleackley, it features reviews of emerging research and ideas from leading thinkers, curated under our creative direction with AI assistance for voice, imagery, and composition. Systemic voices and illustrative images of people are representative tools, not depictions of specific individuals.
We dive deep into peer-reviewed research, pre-prints, and major scientific worksβthen bring them to life through the stories of the researchers themselves. Complex ideas become clear. Obscure discoveries become conversation starters. And you walk away understanding not just what scientists discovered, but why it matters and how they got there.
Independent, moderated, timely, deep, gentle, clinical, global, and community conversations about things that matter. Breathe Easy, we go deep and lightly surface the big ideas.

Yeah, I listened to uh some of your episodes there. And I find your uh the banter between the two male and females uh a little annoying, I guess. Or but um you could almost give them names too, like maybe Andy and Izzy, just because they're artificial intelligence, you know. And uh you know, I guess they they seem to use the same vocabulary too. Maybe could mix it up like totally, and uh let's take a holistic approach and absolutely, definitely deep dive. And it's a big question. That's a really good question. But but even the people who uh who run the Helios, I find they don't um really live by what they preach, you know. The um the building authentic relationships, you know, the conflict avoidance was one that uh kind of resonated with uh a relationship I had. And uh, and I guess even being friends and stuff, you know, there's one uh but I guess you know, they the the lessons are good, but you know, like they say, I think the empathy is perhaps missing. But um again, that's just some feedback for you. Cheers.
