Welcome to Would You Rather

Rachael

Hi, everyone welcome to Girl Gang Podcast. My name is Rachael.

Sarah

I'm Sarah

Brandi

and I'm Brandi, and we are your hosts for this episode.

Rachael

So this week we are doing "Would you Rather and we've each brought a few questions with us to talk about Would you Rather. For those of you who have never played Would you Rather, I feel like this was very big in middle school and high school for us, and this is where you got into the nitty gritty things you would do if you had to choose one of them, and we're keeping it rather PG, I think I don't know because I don't actually know what Brandi and Sarah are going to be asking, but I kept mine relatively PG. So, Kozy, I'm going to put you on the spot and ask you what is one of your would you rather questions?

Embarrassing Memories vs Emotional Connection

Sarah

Let's do it! My first Would you rather question? Would you rather erase all of your most embarrassing moments from everyone else's memories or erase them from your own memory?

Brandi

oh, so I went kind of back and I feel like I could go back and forth on this one so if I got rid of them from everyone else's mind and only I knew about it, I think I think ultimately that's what I would choose, because I keep a lot of my own secrets, like there's a lot of embarrassing moments that most like maybe one other person has witnessed, and then I don't tell anyone else about them. So you know, it's a very like I'm good at internalizing my embarrassing moments. However, most people forget memories of other people that aren't like if they weren't embarrassed too, they're probably gonna forget about that set time.

Brandi

I feel like when you're embarrassed, that emotion makes that memory a core memory for you

Rachael

yeah, I would agree,

Brandi

like I remember things and if I like told someone like hey, remember when this happened to me, and they're like, no, and I was like, well, you were there. And they're like I don't remember that at all, but it's like in my head this is what happened. I could tell you what I was wearing, kind of situation.

Sarah

I feel like my mom always told me that whenever something embarrassing happened when I was a kid and she's like I don't know why you're freaking out so much, you know, like these things you're never going to remember, or like this was not that big of a deal in the people who are around you's lives. It just seems like it's a big deal in your life right now and that totally just kind of went full circle for me at the moment when she said that I forgot.

Sarah

I liked it though?

Rachael

I think yeah. I feel like, even though I have a terrible memory, I do feel like I hold on to some of those embarrassing moments. So I would probably want to erase the memory for myself because, even though we're all concerned that other people are thinking negatively about us. I really don't think that people remember that much about us in the long term. Honestly, they've got their own stuff that they're figuring out and dealing with.

Sarah

Not in their own life, yeah.

Brandi

I'd agree.

Sarah

Honestly, I feel like all of my really embarrassing moments in my life have either been like I've already forgotten them, or they've been suppressed, or I've like learned from them. So I don't know if there's like really anything I would. Oh yeah, I'd take this back.

Sarah

I feel like everything's just kind of led up to this, so I'm kind of good with that, but like erasing myself from everyone else's memories I mean

Brandi

just your embarrassing ones, though not your entire being

Sarah

part of me is like, because of those embarrassing moments, like I was able to like filter out a lot of like fake friends in a sense, and like some of those like you know, friends I had in college or friends I had at, you know, in my high school days out of my camper, like we're really good friends. So like, yeah, those embarrassing things happened, but I'm good.

Brandi

Yeah, I can probably go either way.

Sarah

I am a walking embarrassment with a lot of things in life. So, like, take it or leave it,

Rachael

you just gotta own it for sure. Brandi what about

Rachael

you? What's one of your would you rather questions?

Brandi

alright, you guys ready for this one, so I'm gonna leave this one's probably the most PG one I have.

Rachael

It doesn't have to be PG, but you know,

Brandi

um, we'll ease into it okay. So I found this one and I thought it. Um was just a good thinker and would get us to kind of I think would you rather questions, kind of let you see into other people's mentality and mindset a lot more than just regular questions? But anyway, would you rather marry someone who completely understands you emotionally but never makes you laugh or have fun with, or would you rather marry someone who makes you laugh so hard and you always have fun with them but they don't quite understand you emotionally?

Rachael

oh, can I stay single forever?

Brandi

I thought that was a tough. I thought it was a tough one.

Brandi

I kind of you obviously want those right.

Sarah

I feel like the first thing that's really coming to my brain at the moment is having them understand me emotionally. Because I feel like something I look for in a partner is that sense of home. Or like that Person, you can just be unhinged, unfiltered completely yourself and just have that kind of connection like outside of the rest of the world

Brandi

but imagine that connection without laughing

Sarah

but that's why you also have like other people in your life too.

Sarah

\, like I'm kind of indifferent, but that was just the way my my brain was going first too is because, like, I have certain friends that I want to go out and have a blast with, and I know we're going to have fun and laugh till our bellies hurt. And then there's some friends who I know I can like completely vent to and like be more vulnerable with, and friends that we can veg on the couch or just make up the plans as they go. Like I feel like there are other areas that you can get those kind of fulfillments from, but if I really had to choose between, like, the ability to laugh and always have fun versus have a genuine connection with someone, I think I'm going to rather have the genuine connection to someone that's at least, who, at the end of the day, I'm at home with.

Brandi

Okay

Sarah

I think that's at least what my brain is doing at the moment,

Brandi

I mean it makes sense.

Brandi

You just have to tell all your jokes to your friends and not your husband.

Sarah

There you go

Rachael

right.

Sarah

I'm fun, I'm just not giggling but I can still be funny yeah.

Rachael

I feel like I've been on more of the fun side of the relationship and if you don't have the substance there with the emotions and being able to connect on that level, then at least for me it made me really anxious Then I was not happy in that relationship because of it. So I feel like I lean towards what Kozy's answer is is I want the emotional Intelligence connection. I would say. Like I need them to be able to read how I'm feeling and be able to kind of work through those feelings with me a little bit.

Brandi

Yeah, um yeah, having been void of like an emotionally intelligent relationship on both ends, um, yeah, I would as much as I want laughter and fun in a relationship and like that's, I think, important for all of us, like if this wasn't a what you rather question. Yeah, I think having that connection and being able to you know, feel safe and have those conversations with your partner would be like if I had to choose between the two. That would be it. And then I'm just gonna send you guys all my funny memes that would be it.

Sarah

if I'm thinking about like a partner that's going to be a parent, like, yes, the fun and games are all important and fun, but we want to be sure that we're on the same page with like our morals and like our connection with each other and our kids

Brandi

yeah, I get that

Rachael

yeah,

Sarah

that's a good question

Rachael

that was a good one okay

Concert Dilemmas and Superpowers

Rachael

Since we're all concert lovers, this one has to do with concerts. Would you rather never attend a concert again, or you can't listen to music unless you're at a concert.

Sarah

Oh

Brandi

I, this is the easy one for me. I'll go first. I would go to concert.

Rachael

I knew you would say that. I knew you would say that

Sarah

I'd be so broke.

Brandi

That wasn't part of the question.

Sarah

Did we pay for these tickets?

Brandi

It didn't say you had to pay for the concerts, you just had to go.

Sarah

But it didn't say we didn't pay for the concert.

Rachael

Okay, Brandi, I knew you would answer that way and I was up in the air about how Kozy you would respond

Brandi

yeah, like for me that's my happy place.

Brandi

Like that is where I feel you've got all these people around you that are like like vibing through the music too, like that's like my spiritual place is like live music and you know what? I've got my audio books to keep me probably entertained in between.

Rachael

How do you like, how do you find out about the new music? To then go to the concert? Like you know, you introduced me to The Blue Stones and now I'm obsessed and I'm like, oh great, it'd be cool to go to the concert.

Sarah

Openers are like concert friends that we make that are platonic friends, you know.

Brandi

And oh and surprise. Yeah, like uh, the Framing Hanley concert I went to I made two new friends.

Rachael

Oh, I love that.

Brandi

Honestly if.

Rachael

Yeah, you went solo, girl power

Brandi

and I went solo, like that's just it. Like if I could not listen to music outside of concerts, I would find like local shows, like small local shows to go to.

Sarah

Yeah, or like could we start a band Like, like, could that be a little loophole?

Brandi

I mean, I'm not musically inclined at all. I do want to learn the piano, so maybe I could be the keyboard.

Sarah

I could not live without music, but I also couldn't live without going to concerts.

Rachael

So you have to choose. It's a "wood, you're out there, cozy, gotta pick. I can let you think about it, because I know what my answer is. My answer would be I would not go to concerts anymore.

Sarah

Where does musical theater go?

Rachael

I know

Sarah

Like musical theater, I need to so like. Does that count as a concert? Or

Rachael

I would say it counts.

Rachael

Yeah,

Brandi

I was going to say it doesn't.

Rachael

Oh, really, okay,

Brandi

it's like a movie, but live

Sarah

yeah movies with music in them.

Sarah

Musical concert.

Sarah

Oh, let's see,

Brandi

here's the thing I, if you just want to listen to music and never want to go to concerts, I can send you concert videos of all the concerts I go

Sarah

oh, but no, being there half of it, like being there where that's the only thing that you can hear, like I sometimes get like anxious in crowds, but like concerts I really don't, because it's kind of like the music overpowers everything and it's a weird feeling that I really like. So I'm always into going to concerts. I don't know if that's a like nerd ever thing or something, but so I think I would just go to a crap ton more of concerts, a lot more concerts.

Rachael

Yeah, I think I would choose music all the time Because I do love concerts, but I feel like I don't love them as much as you all do. But it's like changed. It's changed throughout my time. I feel like before Polly and I were roommates, I didn't really go to a lot of concerts and then she was like a big concert goer, so her and I started going to shows together and now I really love shows. But back in the day I just feel like we couldn't afford concerts and like it made me anxious because there were a ton of people there and like everybody's messed up on drugs. And I also feel like, since I'm mostly sober all the time, like it's just a layer of like awkwardness and like dealing with obnoxious people sometimes that I could. I could deal without it on a sober level

Sarah

true.

Sarah

I feel like my answer is really debating on the musical theater part of this, if that counts or not. Because if that, if that counts as a concert, I mean I think I would. I would probably have to probably do the music every day. That's a really really hard one. That's really hard because I already do play music every single day and now that I'm thinking about it, I don't think I could go a full day without having music around. So I think I'm changing mine. I'm with you, Rach. As much as I love concerts and being there, yeah, I couldn't live without that.

Rachael

I had a feeling you might say that

Brandi

If I need to listen to something, I've got my audio book. So where the book nerd comes in handy.

Rachael

Yeah, I need to get one audio book a month, so I'm struggling a little bit.

Brandi

You've got to use the Libby app. Get your library card. It's free,

Rachael

I do, but I don't want to wait like eight weeks for a book

Brandi

bro I have. Okay, this is how you do it. Okay, you go through the entire list of audiobooks. You're allowed 50 holds. Okay, you go through and you max out all 50 holds and then they just come two or three at a time and then you pick and choose which one you want. I've got five books on my bookshelf right now and I just cycle through

Rachael

okay, good for you.

Rachael

Yeah, I don't do that. It's always like I'm reading on one specific

Brandi

yeah, I think.

Brandi

Right now I am in the middle of five books between audio that's crazy.

Rachael

So anyway,

Brandi

well, would you rather physical or audio?

Sarah

physical

Rachael

physical

Sarah

my next question we're going to like your superpowers. We're kind of going that route. Would you rather be able to read minds, but only when someone's lying, or teleport, but only to target?

Brandi

Oh, easy.

Brandi

Um, I want to listen to when people are lying.

Rachael

Yes,

Brandi

that'll weed out people real quick. That's like liar liar, isn't it isn't that. What's that

Sarah

That's where my mind was going to. But then I'm thinking about all those late nights where I really wish I had a snack or like really needed one specific thing, and I'm thinking how convenient that would be to teleport to Target so convenient. So I'm also torn between my answer to this one

Brandi

any Target or just your local Target?

Sarah

I think you can pick. You can pick which target.

Sarah

Okay, because it says target so I'm gonna

Rachael

teleport to a target and then walk out a exact flight or anything, and then you could just be hanging out in Thailand or wherever you want.

Brandi

This will save me so much money on plane tickets,

Sarah

right so as much as I feel like I would love to read people's minds, I think I'm gonna teleport to Target.

Brandi

Yeah caveat of I can go to any target. We didn't specify, 100% my answer.

Rachael

that's so hard. I agree for the travel aspect, but I also feel like I'm too trusting of a person and too nice, so I think the lying aspect would help me.

Brandi

But do you think it would change your like overall demeanor and like you know you're all so like while you say you're like too positive and trusting of a person, like that's a big part of what makes your personality like so attractive to people and things like that it's because you are always looking to see the bright side of things. So if you know every time someone's lying, if you think that'll jade you, like that would change your personality because you realize how much maybe

Sarah

I feel like it would give me a lot.

Rachael

I would just I would be expecting it way more. I feel like, oh, this person's gonna lie.

Brandi

So then you are like me, got it,

Sarah

and then I want to call them out on different situations too. So I feel like I don't know yeah,

Brandi

that was immediately.

Brandi

Was I want to know, when people were lying until I was like, well, wait a minute, I could go to a German Target and then go see, you know, go to Oktoberfest for free, you know like there's a lot of Targets out there. Um, probably not as many as Dollar General like, but yeah, there's probably some in every major city that I would want to go

Sarah

there's nothing like you're laying in bed and you're just craving chocolate.

Sarah

I'm there

Brandi

yeah, I don't have that problem, though

Sarah

I do. I definitely do.

Brandi

Oh, I can't wait to see your pregnancy cravings then,

Sarah

oh god to clear the air.

Sarah

I am NOT pregnant

Rachael

when you do I would freak the hell out,

Sarah

oh gosh no, no, no.

Rachael

We can announce it on the podcast, but don't tell us on the podcast.

Sarah

No, I would have to come up with something way more creative than that. But even like right now, we need toilet paper and paper towels and I don't feel like getting in the car to go and get them. So if I could just teleport over to target and grab them, that'd be great.

Rachael

That's also what door dash is for

Brandi

door dash is expensive.

Sarah

Yeah, but it is. I mean it's so convenient and never mind it because I do it, but

Brandi

I'm a door

Sarah

myself, but I can't get out of the car, so we're just teleport there.

Rachael

I like it, I support it, I support it. I think you got me on the travel one for sure

Brandi

yeah, definitely all right.

Brandi

So, um, this is actually the question that kind of brought this topic up for us to do an episode on. So you guys have heard this one, but we never actually came up with an answer. You guys were just like oh, that's good, so let's hear it. Would you rather only have one night stands forever, or only ever sleep with the first person you slept with?

Rachael

Even though I did not answer this. I had a question that immediately came after this and I said am I guaranteed not to get an STI if I only have one night stands? So if I'm guaranteed to not get an STI and anything like that, then I think I would take the one night stand.

Sarah

Well, it doesn't say how often we have to have one night stands,

Rachael

true,

Sarah

or like? Well, I guess. No, that's the whole point of having one night stand. You can't have multiple one night stands with one person. What if there's space in between them?

Brandi

No, that's the whole point of having a one-night stand.

Brandi

You can't have multiple one-night stands with one person.

Sarah

there's space in between them. Like where's that line?

Brandi

That's not a one-night stand, then it's a two-night stand which we all have,

Rachael

so it's a new person every single time.

Rachael

It can't be like hey, I slept with this person and then, six months later, we hooked up.

Sarah

Unfortunately, there's only one way for me to go on this, and I'm going one night stands.

Brandi

I think we all are.

Brandi

I mean to be honest. Most people's first times were ideal or with an ideal person.

Sarah

Right, that'd be a whole episode. Oh, my goodness.

Rachael

I think I'm the only one out of us that, like my first person, was also the person that I was with for 12 years, so there's like too much emotional baggage there for me to ever do that again.

Sarah

I just wish there were so many things I wish people would have told me before.

Rachael

Yeah, oh yeah, oh god, like I'm. I think we're all very lucky that we did not end up teenage pregnancy cases or worse

Brandi

oh, that was never a problem for me, that was no, I didn't.

Brandi

I did not sleep with anyone in high school because I was so afraid of getting pregnant.

Sarah

Um, honestly my yeah, we're.

Sarah

We're at the end of high school, early college, but they, they were not all tens, or just say that,

Brandi

in fact, my first time was a one-night stand, so,

Rachael

and a brand

Brandi

it was so traumatizing I'm like never again,

Rachael

never again,

Brandi

nope, you do that.

Rachael

That's funny. okay would you rather have people hear all of your thoughts, or everything you do is live streamed on social media?

Sarah

oh god, nobody wants to hear all my thoughts.

Sarah

That's god, no, no

Rachael

you're okay with your whole moment of your life being live on social media?

Sarah

I'd have to be I, my thoughts would get me into trouble. I feel like I don't know. That would not. That would end so badly for me.

Sarah

I don't know in which or what way, but oh god no,

Brandi

it's just like your thoughts are broadcast to everyone near you.

Rachael

I don't. I would say like anybody who is in a near distance can hear your thoughts

Sarah

oh,

Rachael

my thoughts have no filter.

Sarah

No, no

Brandi

mine would land me in jail. Um, I don't want to take a shit in front of everyone on a live stream

Rachael

right or like have sex and it's being like broadcast on social media.

Brandi

Well, I can charge for that, so that's fine

Sarah

right, I mean, I see, some

Rachael

you can find, uh, Brandi's, uh, only fans, you know

Brandi

if I had to choose, I would monetize it.

Brandi

at least you know what going online could probably make me money too. There's some weirdos out there, that's so true.

Sarah

The people who are on lives and they're like laying in bed and like you give them gifts or likes or whatever, and it makes the noises and helps wake them up. Interesting. What was a movie like that too, where their every day was broadcast, but I don't remember what that movie was

Rachael

well, there's The Circle yes,

Sarah

the circle, oh

Rachael

the circle, the circle is really creepy. It's like you always have a screen attached to you and like you're always being watched

Sarah

yeah

Rachael

yeah

Rachael

still, but at the same, like I do think some pretty fucked up stuff, so I don't know if I want people knowing what I'm actually thinking. I can at least control what I do in life and therefore what would be shown on social media.

Brandi

Yeah, I mean, I wouldn't have to worry about a job because I would monetize my live stream and I would just make money for me.

Rachael

And so then you could just do a fun shit all the time,

Brandi

or I could be in jail for my thought,

Rachael

correct yeah.

Brandi

So, yeah, I'm gonna monetize my live stream and you can just watch it, because if you don't want to watch it, you don't have to

Sarah

Right.

Brandi

But if you're in the same room as me and I think a comment like you're gonna hear it.

Brandi

So this at least gives you guys the choice whether you want to observe or not

Sarah

I'd say give me an audience to come along on this shit show of a ride with me, and let's, let's, let's do it. I mean, yeah, that sounds a little bit more fun than I can keep my thoughts inside my head.

Rachael

So moral of the story we're just going to quit our jobs and we're just going to monetize and live stream our lives and become millionaires. I like that idea.

Brandi

Also. I just had this question about it. So if you're dreaming, does that get projected to people while you're sleeping, that they hear what's happening in your dream? Because I mean, it's fucked up real quick,

Rachael

I'll be pretty fucked up I don't think. I don't think at that level, yet like it's,

Brandi

it's just like I think technically dreams are thought, so you know, do you have to be awake to hear them? Like, if that's going through, like I mean, dreams get weird.

Rachael

Mm-hmm. Yeah, yeah, nobody wants to know what I'm dreaming about.

Brandi

Care to share no.

Rachael

Honestly, I have the worst dreams. I have terrible dreams, like I dream about the scariest stuff, the thing that I dream about most. I would say, oh, two things that I dream about the most Tornadoes, like always getting sucked into a tornado or running away from a tornado, and that I want to punch somebody and I like go to punch them and I can't and I'm getting like pushed back and so I'm just like never able to punch them. Those are like I've had those before. There's probably some like deep rooted shit in there.

Brandi

We need to get a dream interpreter.

Sarah

Dream interpreter. Yes, because I have not been remembering my dreams for like the past couple of years and I've been curious to know why that's the case too. But I definitely remember those. Or like when you're running and like you're trying to run as fast as you can, but like, I definitely remember those.

Rachael

yeah, you're just not going anywhere. Or you're backing up your car and it like backs up so fast you have no control over it and then you just crash into something. Yeah, I think all of my dreams revolve around like high anxious and anxiety of something.

Brandi

Good lord, I feel like I'm riding around on the dinosaur

Sarah

all right, someone who knows how to do dream interpretations let us know what Rachael's dreams mean, because

Rachael

I know, I need to know

Brandi

We need to do a whole episode with you, if you just

Rachael

now now, if I dreamt the same dream, that has been my favorite dream ever.

Rachael

I would choose that because this happened when I was a little kid, but it was basically for those of you don't know what tumble drum was when we were kids, though, so tumble drum is was this like indoor playground area, and my favorite dream growing up as a kid was I was kind of in this tumble drum sort of space, like running around, playing on all the equipment, and I met, quote unquote, like the love of my life in third grade or whatever it was, and him and I like clicked instantly and like we like ruled that playground and we had such a connection and I've never forgotten that dream. So if it was that dream every single night, then I'd be like hell yeah, like let's go to tumble drum and fall in love in third grade.

Brandi

That's hilarious,

Sarah

that's a nice one

Brandi

the fact that it's still right, like you can remember it, like that had to be such a good dream

Rachael

it was so good.

Rachael

it's still my all-time favorite dream can't compete

Brandi

all right, who's next?

Rachael

uh? Is it Kozy?

Sarah

Fine. My next question is podcast related. Um, would you rather co-host a podcast with your ex or your mom?

Rachael

oh, neither

Brandi

can I pick which ex?

Sarah

most recent ex

Rachael

most recent ex

Brandi

my mother

Rachael

oh, interesting,

Brandi

it would be a painful word what does that mean?

Rachael

that mean I'm not uh. I'm not uh-ing to you, I'm uh-ing about what I would choose. I think I would. I think I would choose my most recent ex, because him and I are still like, friendly and like we ended on respectable terms and he's a fun guy. So him and I could truly like bullshit about anything. But try to put me on the air with my mother and I don't think it would go well. Sorry, mom, love you, but no.

Sarah

I feel like I would not mind doing that with my most recent ex, but he's like married and I'm trying. I don't think we'd have like anything to really talk about

Brandi

yeah

Sarah

so I feel like my mom, although it would be a little unhinged. Would be kind of interesting to see how that would play out. So I'm going to pick my mom

Brandi

you can call it the Kozy Krazies.

Brandi

Yeah right, or get Krazy with Kozy it'd be interesting.

Rachael

Get krazy with the Kozies.

Rachael

Love it,

Brandi

your dad could make an appearance, you'd take up your whole time slot just talking.

Sarah

Oh, my goodness,

Rachael

he could be your main guest appearance.

Brandi

I love that

Sarah

that would be interesting, very interesting,

Brandi

that would be funny honestly, that's probably one of the easier ones to answer.

Brandi

I like that one. I thought the concert one was gonna be quick and easy.

Rachael

I like that one. I thought the concert one was going to be quick and easy, but that one took some time

Sarah

that was hard.

Sarah

That's kind of like yeah, it's between senses, like, yeah, difficult yeah.

Brandi

I totally agree Sight versus audio there okay,

Rachael

Brandi, what you got?

Messages vs Photos Debate

Brandi

okay, would you rather never be in love? Like, if you're in love now, instantly becomes void like never be in love again or never finish again.

Brandi

never climax again

Sarah

I mean, if I'm going for the one night stands, I gotta get something out of that. And if we're not, if we're already not having love and we're just doing when it stands, I mean

Rachael

but you chose the emotional connection.

Rachael

So now you're going to have an emotional connection with one night stands and never oh and get off.

Rachael

Well, you know

Brandi

yeah you're like oh, wait a minute.

Rachael

Actually you need to go back and change it to funny one night stands and you can get off, but never fall in love

Brandi

I've asked this question in a bubble, we don't know

Rachael

in a bubble. It's not connected to any of would you rather other

Sarah

there's no way that I mean I have to.

Sarah

The one night stand I couldn't do the person I lost my virginity with. That just wouldn't work in any sort of way

Rachael

I think I'm choosing orgasm. I could deal without love, but I like to get off, so

Sarah

there's different types of love, so

Brandi

no love, no love

Rachael

no love.

Sarah

Is that including that too?

Brandi

and love.

Brandi

There's a difference between loving someone and being in love with someone and so what you think

Rachael

that's the thing is like I can be single, like I can be single and I can be alone, but I need to get off. So,

Sarah

yeah,

Brandi

and it's good for your health,

Rachael

exactly exactly like I am fine being alone and just loving myself, because

Brandi

Haley Steinfeld has a song about that.

Brandi

So yep, just saying I thought that was

Rachael

so, is that?

Rachael

your. Is that your answer, Brandi, as well?

Brandi

Oh yeah

Rachael

gotta get that oh

Brandi

overrated

Rachael

I feel like love is also very complicated, whereas like, getting off like it's, rather it can be complicated. Get it good, yeah, but like, if you know how to do it, then you're good to go. Kozy, what are you choosing? I think you're going to choose love.

Brandi

I think you're going to pick Brian, yeah, but he can never get you off again,

Sarah

right, and?

Brandi

Like that also One way street there Like fuck that I mean Just going to edge you for the rest of your life.

Brandi

That sounds like torture

Rachael

yes

Sarah

I don't know

Rachael

I think you choose love.

Sarah

I mean we're here, so we're already in that, so I guess I'm just never getting off again

Brandi

I'm so sorry for you

Sarah

I'm not totally happy with that either.

Rachael

Well, at least you have love. It's a balance. Life is all about balance. You'll take the love and we'll take the orgasm.

Sarah

Have fun

Brandi

we'll let you know how they are keep you posted.

Rachael

You can read smut and, like you know, get your. You know all your feels and stuff through that

Brandi

but you can't do it

Rachael

exactly exactly as much. You know all your feels and stuff through that. Well, you can't do it yourself Exactly.

Sarah

Exactly as much as I love that. That already is making me depressed, and the best thing for depression is an orgasm. So I think we're going to change our answer and go back to orgasm, cause, yeah, yeah,

Brandi

peer pressure.

Sarah

I'm truly thinking about that too. I mean,

Brandi

yeah, there's good health benefits.

Sarah

That would suck, that would really suck.

Brandi

There's studies about it.

Sarah

There are

Brandi

Helps you with all kinds of things Mental and physical health, Helps keep your blood pressure low. I've heard

Rachael

I don't know.

Rachael

We can all use that a little in our lives.

Rachael

I feel like People have high blood pressure nowadays, we're all stressed as hell.

Rachael

Okay, would you rather have all of your messages exposed or all of your pictures?

Rachael

exposed. I feel like I know how you all are going to answer, but I'm curious. Yikes

Sarah

Pictures.

Rachael

Yes, I support that. That's my answer too.

Brandi

I'd have to say messages.

Rachael

You'd have to say messages, mm-hmm. Oh, so you don't shit talk like Sarah and I do, apparently

Brandi

I just don't care and stuff too, and yeah, no, I don't.

Sarah

I feel like I don't have that many. I mean, I have a lot of embarrassing photos, but like none that I truly care about, so no pictures. Yeah, I had funny hair cuts and dyed my hair black and it was not cute like yeah,

Brandi

that's one of the pictures I was thinking of

Sarah

but we went from it.

Sarah

That's like back to the first one, the memories. Like I did it, everybody in the hair told me not to. I I said, screw you, I wanted anyways and totally regretted it. And I looked back at photos and I should have dumped that. But we learned now I'm never gonna do it again.

Rachael

I think I would be okay with my photos, because I don't have any like risque photos that I can think of off the top of my head

Brandi

on our phone currently or that we've taken in the past.

Brandi

It may not be physically,

Rachael

I would say on your phone currently. Oh, all of your photos.

Brandi

Yeah, like your Snapchat, your.

Rachael

I feel like Snapchat is a whole different story.

Rachael

Okay, like that is a different piece.

Brandi

There's still your photos.

Sarah

Even then we'd have some great laughs. We'd find some embarrassing videos maybe, but that counts. But I still do pictures. My conversations are my conversations.

Rachael

If it was my current cell phone, I'd choose photos. If it is my Snapchat history, I'd choose messages. That's my final answer.

Brandi

I still stand by messages Like if I should talk to you, you I'll tell you to your face.

Rachael

you're not seeing the pictures

Sarah

all of my pictures are just memories. I feel like

Brandi

good for you.

Rachael

I've had this scrapbook for like three years that I wanted to work on, and I worked on it when I was in Florida and I had 300 photos printed. I'm like, oh my gosh, this is such a good time. Oh yeah, look at your photos more.

Rachael

It's important

Sarah

you mentioned that in your, your new blog. That's, that's how to.

Rachael

Oh, I did.

Sarah

My mom used to make scrapbooks really fun ones when we were really little kids and she did a big scrapbook when I graduated high school. That was like file folders of all of our accomplishments and like photos from each grade and like all those scrapbook photos like just filed away into this little like treasure chest. It was so cute.

Brandi

I feel like the early 2000s were like the heyday of scrapbooking, like everyone wanted to do it. Yes, stores were just. It was just paper, you know, and I feel like the new trend now that replaced scrapbooking is vinyl, like the cricket and silhouette stuff, like I feel like that's the craft that people are crazed about now, whereas back in the day people spent thousands on paper and stickers and the books and they'd spend hours and hours making a single page. You know, and guess what most of those people are doing with that supplies now? They've either thrown it away, donated it, or it's collecting dust in their house somewhere.

Scrapbooking Memories and Closing

Rachael

So but at the same time, like I feel like I have so many photos and I forget about a lot of things. So it is kind of nice like going through the ritual of like looking through all the photos and deciding which one you want to go on the scrapbook or determining I have too many and I don't actually want to put them all on the scrapbook and I'll do something like you do, brandy, of like the photo flip book you know and make it into like an actual printed book of all my photos yeah, I was gonna say that's my preference.

Brandi

I use Shutterfly, um, but let me ask you this is it a photo album you're making or a scrapbook? Because in my mind a scrapbook is is you go in and you put maybe two or three pictures on a page and you do the designs around it and the stickers and maybe captions, whereas a photo album's got like the slots in there and you just put all your photos in an album.

Rachael

I would. It's a scrapbook, but it has, like it has, room for a few photos on there, and then there are lines where you can like write about it and so. I would say I'm trying to stick to like less than five photos on a page and but then I'm writing about it and I'm putting the date and I'm putting the location. So it's like, okay, I was in like this location on this date and I did these things.

Brandi

So I can like remember what I was doing okay to me that, yeah, that's a scrapbook, because, like my dad growing up, he would just get photo albums and he'd print all the pages and like write them in there. So like you're flipping through them and it's just all photos and maybe there's like who it is or the date on the back of them, but you know there was no artistic stuff no, I like, I like the.

Rachael

At first I was just like, oh, I'm just gonna put them on a page and I'm not too concerned about it. But as time went on and I had all of these like containers of stickers and things that I could do, I could get more creative with it. So I feel like as my scrapbook evolves, it's gonna get more creative and more designs probably, but it's hard to narrow down which ones you want because you're like I have so many good photos that's what I love.

Sarah

we have one of the skylight um photo frames that I can upload yeah, the digital one where I can upload the photos to it and I love that because it just plays all day long and because I always forget about, like printing out photos or doing something with them or like I don know, sitting down and going through the book. So I kind of like I'm sitting on the couch and I can see the little picture frame and just play through all the little memories that I just hadn't thought about in a while and I feel like a scrapbook could be cool because, I don't know, as, like my grandpa just passed away and like my grandma isn't doing well, we don't have their stories.

Rachael

You know, they have those books where, like your mom can write about her story, like your grandma can write about her story. I feel like a scrapbook could be a way to do that. So that way, if you pass, then you know whoever is in your life at that point can like read it and be like my gosh. Rachel did all these things. That's pretty cool. Yeah, I like that. Okay, well, thank you everybody for listening. We talked about, would you rather? So if you have some good, would you rather, questions, let us know our. Yeah, we'd love to do a part two. I know we'd love to do a part two because our friend group sent us a bunch of options and they came up with some good ones, but we didn't have enough time to do all of them. So send us your thoughts, Let us know what you think, and we will see you on the next episode. So until next time, stay bold, stay empowered.

Brandi

Girl.
