Speaker 1:

what's up everybody? Welcome back to beyond the dj booth podcast with joe bunn and my man, brian b. We're back. What's going on? I haven't seen you in probably five minutes. Five minutes. You ran out to your car. You're back back. We keep it recording. We keep it going for the fans. That's right, the 300 people that listen to this on a weekly basis.

Speaker 2:

Man, man, we got to increase those numbers. So if you are listening to this and you're enjoying it, would you do us a solid and share it with people? Repost some of the clips, labor review something. Help us move the numbers a little bit.

Speaker 1:

That's the thing about podcasts versus social media. Like you really don't get any sort of feedback. Like if you post a clip or you post a you know something relevant or poignant or helpful. Like at least you get that feedback. Man, thanks Brian for the tip, or this is gold, or I'm going to go buy that right now Like on the podcast like who are we talking to, Right? You think people listen to this?

Speaker 2:

I think we see some more on the YouTube video yeah, that's true. Podcast. It's weird to even like leave comments because, like, you're listening to it on your car drive. What are you gonna do? Like get on there and like leave a comment you can do it on spotify and these other places you can leave comments. But who's doing that like? I've never done it ever. You know that's a good point. I don't think I have either, but youtube kind of lends itself to that because it's got the comment feature.

Speaker 1:

That's so easily yeah, if you've never watched the full video, go check it out on my youtube channel. It comes. Comes out basically every Wednesday morning, I think at 8 am. Yep, and what time does the podcast come out? Every Wednesday morning, what time is that?

Speaker 2:

6 am Eastern time. That's when it launches, so probably 7 am by the time it hits.

Speaker 1:

So, anyway, I got a scenario for you. Give it to me, I'm just going to. I'm going to preface this, I'm going to take the darkness out of it. Nobody's in the house. Your wife and daughter are out of the house. They're on a trip. Right, you're by yourself. House is on fire, but you get out safely on your way out. It's burning, it's burning, it's burning, but still not to the point where you can't grab a thing. A thing, not your laptop, but dj related, so it could be anything dj related that you feel like you have to have. What are you grabbing on the way out the door?

Speaker 2:

I already know you would say laptop first yeah, all right the second item, I think, I think everybody's first one would be, it's a laptop.

Speaker 1:

Any dj is going to grab the right speakers probably be second.

Speaker 2:

okay, those are the more expensive things that I would have. Yeah, yeah, probably outside of lights.

Speaker 1:

I mean I didn't know if you were going to say that, or controller, or like your favorite suit, no.

Speaker 2:

Clothing. Yeah, that's. That's the last thing I'm worried about. What would you? What would it be?

Speaker 1:

for you I'd probably say controller. Okay, I mean, laptop is always going to be first. So, speaking of, have you ever lost your laptop, like gone like?

Speaker 2:

you never-. I did one time Me too, and I freaked out Me too.

Speaker 1:

I lost the whole backpack of shit. I did too. I got it back, though I did not. I think it's down in Atlanta somewhere.

Speaker 2:

Really.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, I came in off a boat party that I was DJing on the bow of this boat. We were turned up, we got all the gear off, but I think I left the backpack on the dock and somebody stole the whole backpack. Wow, I mean iPad, I think, two laptops, I bet it was $10,000. You didn't have any like tracking on the floor.

Speaker 1:

This was kind of pre that era, okay, or either it fell in the lake, like because we came in at night like the sun was gone. Yeah, maybe you put it down and I put it down and you know how. They're not very um, they're a little wobbly. It's either at the bottom of the lake in charlotte or somebody stole the whole bag and they came up big wow, yeah so mine was, uh, I was traveling to california for a wedding.

Speaker 2:

okay, I took a nightlife event the night before. It was one of those things where I flew in, went straight to the gig, had my backpack underneath the DJ booth just sitting there, but it was kind of like one of those stages where literally someone could walk up and just grab whatever, but it's by my feet. So I finished, everything get done. I had to go to the bathroom so bad, so I just ran to the bathroom and between the time I went for the bathroom and came back, I didn't even notice that the bag was gone, because I'd already put my computer in it. Everything was ready. I was just coming back, and so I'm just talking to somebody yeah, and then I'm like, hey, where's my bag?

Speaker 2:

it's gone. So then I was freaking out because I had a wedding the next day and I'm like I don't have a laptop and then my backup drives and everything, because back then it was just external drives yeah, yeah I didn't have it on dropbox, yeah I had a backup drive and my primary in the bag. I mean, I had one more at home, but that's not gonna do me any good with no laptop wasn't.

Speaker 2:

You know a thing I'm gonna do I have them like they can't even next day air it. You know it wouldn't get there in time, so I was freaking out, so how do you get it back?

Speaker 2:

so they got somehow somebody knew somebody who they saw somebody take it, or they thought they saw somebody take it, so somehow somebody messaged this person. This person ends up calling me, I think is it somehow they may have put the fear of god in them that they were going to call the cops or whatever? And this guy's like hey, I have your laptop, meet me at such and such a place. And now I I'm kind of a little nervous, like is this guy going to beat the crap?

Speaker 1:

out of me Like is this real, so sure enough.

Speaker 2:

It's like three in the morning. I drive over to this meeting spot. The guy gives me my laptop. Everything was in there. Thank God I got. He didn't say sorry or like I didn't want I as I got it back I looked in there, everything's in there and I'm like peace, I'm out.

Speaker 2:

Wow, dude, that's the only time I've ever gotten that close, and thank god I got it, because I don't know what I would have done of all things, man, I can replace any of this other shit, but that that laptop bag is is gold and thank god for dropbox yeah, dropbox is critical, absolutely if you don't have yourself backed up to some sort of cloud.

Speaker 1:

If you're still on this external hard drive time machine bullshit. You're living in the 2001 era. Get out of it. Dropbox is critical, or Google Drive, whatever you want to use. Yeah, let's talk gear, let's talk it. The gear is here. The gear is here. The gear is here. The gear is here. The gear is here. The gear is here.

Speaker 2:

The gear is here, is here. Is here, jesus. So, like I said on the last episode, we went to the mountains and I wanted to be able to bring my cell phone holder. I think I've talked about it on this podcast before.

Speaker 1:

It's this like in your rental.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, I have it in my travel bag it's basically got the the mount, so it just kind of sticks on here like this yeah, mag safe.

Speaker 1:

And what's great about this? You do have to explain stuff a little bit better. Yes, thank you for doing that.

Speaker 2:

Thank you for not everybody watching so with the mag safe kind of holds on and this goes on to the air conditioning right, we have talked about.

Speaker 1:

We have talked about this, right? Yeah?

Speaker 2:

thing and I want to use this. I want it on there and I want it charging yeah, but a lot of these ones that have car play. You know I have to choose. Do I want this cable in there or do I want to go CarPlay straight in you?

Speaker 1:

know what I'm saying?

Speaker 2:

It still charges it though it does, this would allow my wife to charge hers MagSafe.

Speaker 1:

Oh, okay, you know what I mean. Yeah, yeah.

Speaker 2:

And I don't like having multiple cables.

Speaker 1:

Like cables, two cables, so I was on the hunt.

Speaker 2:

Okay, so I found a wireless.

Speaker 1:

CarPlay, car play. I had one, but it did not look like that.

Speaker 2:

So here you see this.

Speaker 1:

You can explain it to the audience who are listening, but it's basically usb to usb to a little bitty thing, maybe the size of like a super bowl ring, that has a play button logo on it and it just attaches to a female usb-a and it has an adapter that can go yep, can go a or c, so this basically plugs into the one that goes into the carplay.

Speaker 2:

Right now, here's the thing you have to have carplay.

Speaker 1:

If you don't have carplay this isn't like no, no, no, I know right manufactured on the screen.

Speaker 2:

This makes wireless carplay right and it goes with bluetooth, so it's a Bluetooth connection to.

Speaker 1:

this Shows up on the screen and works great.

Speaker 2:

So now we were able to have her charge her phone and, you know, be able to do wireless CarPlay with one less wire.

Speaker 1:

Mine was much bigger than this. I mean it wasn't huge, but it was maybe a little box about the size of a credit card and thicker. I would say it was moderately decent at working. My new car has wireless CarPlay. As soon as I get in CarPlay comes on.

Speaker 2:

Oh okay, so some of the newer ones have that New cars do. Got it. Yeah, yeah, new, new cars. So this is on Amazon. Any idea of what it would cost?

Speaker 1:

The box I had was expensive. I think that might be $49.

Speaker 2:

$29.99. Damn. So I just keep this in my bag Any place I'm going. I just have it with this and this in there, and I just take it out when I'm getting a rental car. Great. So, good little find on Amazon.

Speaker 1:

Most every car now that a rental car plays because they flip them pretty quick is at least going to have wired car play Right. And if you can hook that up and make it wireless even better, nice find Brian B Easy one Mine. And make it wireless even better Nice, find Brian B Easy one Mine was much more expensive. I think it was close to $100. Djs, let's be real for a second. Your setup is your first impression. If you're still rocking a banquet table or a cheap facade, it's time for an upgrade. Speaker 2:

So let's talk a little music. Give the people a new list.

Speaker 1:

Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, I did work on this a little bit yesterday, you did yeah.

Speaker 2:

So my thought because I came up with this list, yeah was we do so many events and there's obviously songs that we like outside of events. It's always great when you can insert some of those that you know we're going to work, that you actually like, like and not just gig songs. But me and mike used to talk about this, yeah that you would.

Speaker 1:

Actually, they keep you going like like you've jumped off the set into something you genuinely like to kind of save your sanity sometimes right.

Speaker 2:

So I thought of making a guilty pleasure playlist, which would be songs that actually do work for events as well.

Speaker 1:

They need to work right. So or you just, selfishly, are like fuck it, I'm dropping this, I can't, I'm gonna lose my mind if I don't play something that I love.

Speaker 2:

Full disclosure here. I did look at the list and saw some of yours and actually it wasn't as surprised as I thought I would be. Some of these were just like I could tell these were Joe Buns.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, yeah, yeah. I don't think I, I don't think I went too far left A couple of years. I was like what, what just happened right now?

Speaker 2:

So if you want the playlist, you're going to comment the word guilty G-U-I-L-T-Y I was about to say.

Speaker 1:

I feel like some people don't know how to spell guilty. There we go. It's a weird word.

Speaker 2:

It is a weird word but that works for our programming on. Instagram so it's probably not one you're going to be using, unless there's a problem Right.

Speaker 1:

So anyway guilty, right.

Speaker 2:

So anyway, guilty, comment the word guilty on this reel and you will get the playlist. I wanted to talk through a couple of these tracks, yeah, so I thought we'd go back and forth. I picked five for you. I have little samples of them, so I'm going to share with you one of mine, and then we'll go back and forth here. First one classic Michael Jackson. I love playing the song Human Nature when I can fit it in, but I love this version of it. This is the Louis LaRoche remix. You put me on this years ago.

Speaker 1:

I think yeah, this is on my cool cocktails list. I sold it to you like five years ago.

Speaker 2:

I just love the BPM range 96. Works with every group. Is this on Spotify? No, not this remix.

Speaker 1:

See, now you kind of you own the audience here. I'll give them a tool.

Speaker 2:

You're gonna give it to them I'm gonna give it to them, yeah it's filthy, I love that edit. I just love that song in general. Who doesn't? So if I can play that at any gig and I try to work- it in almost every I wouldn't say every event, but a good chunk of them. Yeah, yeah, a high percentage that version is filthy.

Speaker 1:

I use it all the time or like fashion show type thing, retail store doors open. I've never played it during a dance set, but I stole it from you years ago.

Speaker 2:

Okay, so let's play Joe's first one, and then you can talk us through why this is on your list. On your list.

Speaker 1:

I mean other than the greatest drum roll in the history of drum rolls, because I again, selfishly, that takes like three minutes to get to that part, though I have edits of it. I would cut to that part, or there definitely is a scooter edit and it goes from that to I feel it coming. Oh, yeah, I feel it coming, babe, uh the weekend yeah and that's the one I usually play.

Speaker 1:

But I do have a more up-tempo edit of that song. But it kind of the syncopation or whenever you like, lock the beat up or whatever. It kind of messed up the drum roll, okay, because it added like a oh, yeah, yeah. So it kind of messes up the yeah.

Speaker 2:

So is this a dinner track for you, or is this? Have you played it?

Speaker 1:

It would be like that doors open, cool cocktails, blah, blah blah. It wouldn't be like full open A stream, a live stream, because that edit is so cool.

Speaker 2:

So track two. I'm going to play it and see if you can guess it, but this is one of my guilty pleasures. For sure I love this edit and this version of it.

Speaker 1:

Go for it. Oh, it's Craig David. Craig David, fill me in.

Speaker 2:

Full crew. What's this?

Speaker 1:

This is the full crew remix.

Speaker 2:

It was actually an album-sanctioned remix.

Speaker 1:

You don't even want it. I mean, bro, this album had me in a shithole.

Speaker 2:

I loved this Craig David record Seven Days. All of those tracks right. I think I was dating this girl named Trish Smith and we rode out of this. Yeah, oh, great track. If I can fit that in, it's the right crowd. I will work that into a demo.

Speaker 1:

You know how like you hear songs and they'll like take you back to like a time period. Yeah, trish Smith.

Speaker 2:

Dude, I went to his concert. Was he any good? He was, but he didn't have any band, it was just him and Trax, but it was good.

Speaker 1:

Was he really singing? He sounded great.

Speaker 2:

That album was.

Speaker 1:

He made other records, but that album had multiple great songs on it. Joe's number two, jesus. Just because, if I even see a Similance of pop, pop punk music, I'm going into this, and then I might rip these six songs in a row of just whatever fallout boy paramore my other one, I put on there my own worst enemy. Yeah, yeah, yeah uh, I mean, I'm just gonna go to town. This is a tough one to mix in. I found've found. I think it would come in cold. Yeah, because I think it needs that part.

Speaker 2:

Yes absolutely.

Speaker 1:

Are you playing it regularly now no, but. I mean, if I'm just like I'm at the bottom, I'm feeling low and I need to bring myself up, I'm going right to it. All right, I'm not going to play that as the first one. I need to see how Sugar we're Going Down works before I would go there, or Blink-182 or something like that and then I'll go there.

Speaker 2:

Most of mine are going to be dinner tracks.

Speaker 1:

I really go dance tracks.

Speaker 2:

Let's hit number three. One of my all-time favorites, jesus Bruce. Such a good track. Filthy I jesus. What a great bruce hornby. Such a good track. Filthy, I mean, I know the way it is is his main track, but like this one for me, I just oh I could hear this all day, such a good album, so smooth and I've. I've fitted in a bunch of times, just because it's just one of those ones that I don't think people are going to be pissed off if nah nah, that's hornsby man.

Speaker 1:

That's Hornsby man, that's my guy Number three for Joe. We did get a costume about this recently, really, because Diddy was just affiliated with him. Oh, remember that. Well, I have a 360 video and that lady goes that's a choice, or something like that. I've got it on video and we both are going and, like Saquon goes, that ain't Diddy or something like that we kind of tried to defend it. Yeah, I was like, yeah, that's not Diddy that's. Biggie. Yeah, that's a choice. She pointed at me. Wow, yeah.

Speaker 2:

Are you playing this one regularly still Like? This is probably not on my regular list.

Speaker 1:

Yes, but.

Speaker 2:

I like to start it from how it goes. Who's that Herb?

Speaker 1:

Howard sample.

Speaker 2:

You play this over More Money, More Problems.

Speaker 1:

I would personally yes.

Speaker 2:

Okay, it's also so getting so old now like I feel like it's old, it's crazy how old, but a lot of again.

Speaker 1:

it's one of those things I'm like I just got to bring it back to you know the era that I loved, and those kids are enjoying it though. Yeah I mean, I wouldn't write it to death. I might give them a verse and a chorus at least, I think that they know it well enough to carry it yeah, so I go from this.

Speaker 2:

there's a blend out there that has 679 over this Hypnotized.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, yeah, yeah, I've got that. And so it's enough of a bridge where it's like, if they didn't stick with this, I can get out of it quick Right that it brought it up to more of their era with Fetty Wap Right 679.

Speaker 2:

Right, right, I got you I do have that edit too. Okay, I probably got it from you. Uh, number four fray baby. It's so good, such a good track. It's so underrated. Gray's anatomy era. I'm a keyboard player so I'm a big fray guy in general, but I probably play that almost every wedding and really really tell me that they're not into that. It's a great song. It's in the 2000s, man, this is like when they were going up song.

Speaker 1:

That band is still on tour. They were here recently really yeah, I don't think it's the same singer, because it was wasn't in a ugly bald white guy, I don't know he wasn't.

Speaker 2:

He wasn't on the poster I saw on the news that your 100 million dollar uh artist is coming to town on wednesday is wednesday, your show day I didn't say he was worth $100,000.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, you did. I'm going. I got front row tickets, rob Thomas, tomorrow it's tomorrow. Who Rob Thomas? Who the fuck Did you just say who From Matchbox 20.

Speaker 2:

Remember when he was claiming he had $100 million and we looked it up and it was like $17 million. I was like way off oh man.

Speaker 1:

I still am not buying that one man speaking of me and Saquon. I went to see DaBaby Sean Paul.

Speaker 2:

Sean Paul, yeah, and Wiz Khalifa the other night.

Speaker 1:

Number one. We had several drinks leading up to Sean Paul. By the time Sean Paul came out, we both thought we were Jamaicans, we swear, we were patois. Yeah, we were Bum-ba-clot. What was that? Mash up the place. Mash up pre-release. What was that? My Shutter Place, my Shutter. Place that's crazy and we are turned up. That was a great show, though Great show that's awesome the baby's broad daylight. He's all the way out in the lawn with his shirt off. People are going nuts what?

Speaker 2:

does he have? He's got like two hips. I don't know, dude, no, no.

Speaker 1:

I thing.

Speaker 2:

And number two, he's from Charlotte, so he's legendary here, yeah but I did not think they were going to go crazy like that they went crazy for the baby.

Speaker 1:

And then Sean Paul's set was too long and he's too old. But he's got a ton of hits, a million hits, but his set was way too long. Okay, and because also you have to look at the crowd, they were very young, so Wiz Khalifa was more their, that was the headliner, yeah, and he was rock star status, like we looked his net worth up and it was a hundo. He got a hundo.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, would you have thought that. No, I would not have Me, neither I mean you gotta think about those songs, bro, black and Yellow, black and Yellow Weed and Boys Faster, furious With.

Speaker 1:

Charlie Poof, and they played a whole montage of all the rappers that had died, like in the past few years. There wasn't one over 35.

Speaker 2:

It was super sad. Oh, it was super sad. Let's move on.

Speaker 1:

Okay, next one I will play this during peak dance same, I don't give a fuck how many edits do you have and which I play?

Speaker 2:

this edit that I'm playing for you right now, which is just the original, it's got a little bit of a, but it's short no panic.

Speaker 1:

There's one panic city edit that I play something. No, I'll play that one, it's got that little.

Speaker 2:

Oh, it's different, it is different. So I go right into it. Yeah, and I play a minute of it. I'll play that at midnight. Yeah, great track. Always I go from jesse's girl into your love. Oh, that's a great transition back-to-back bangers god they work so good.

Speaker 1:

Why is that song so good? So good another album that had me in a church in the 80s.

Speaker 2:

The young kids know that. I think it's trended on tiktok.

Speaker 1:

About a year or two ago, from what I remember, somebody was singing around my house or something and I was like what are you singing? They're like I don't know it's on tiktok. They don't even know who the artist right, right right I'm like that's the outfield.

Speaker 2:

How dare you. What's the other song?

Speaker 1:

yeah, I guess you're right, it's a one-hit wonder.

Speaker 2:

You're right, you're right, all right.

Speaker 1:

Last one all right, I'm fitting this in baby I bro another artist that had me in a chokehold for a whole era of life seal, seal, oh man this track you have a john cicada track I did. I didn't play it today.

Speaker 2:

No, okay I pulled it out, but this Did you leave it on the playlist. I did leave it on the playlist, yeah.

Speaker 1:

Seal that song in particular. That's the first song he ever had that, I think, made him who he was.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, still slaps to this day. At events, I'm bringing that back.

Speaker 1:

I'm bringing that back. That's a great song. Last one for.

Speaker 2:

I was shocked. This is the one I was shocked on, Bro this has gone off at the last minute. Are you playing the original though?

Speaker 1:

No, I'm not. I have an edit of Don't you Worry Child, oh, yes. And then it comes right out of the second chorus Don't you worry, don't you worry, child. Hey, heaven's got a plan for you. And then it kind of breathes for a second and then it goes hold me now. And dude. I remember last weekend, right before I started playing, she goes oh, andrew and his friends are creed fanatics. We even heard them playing creed in the get ready room. Wow. And then the wedding. A few weekends ago, when we were at the beach, we heard them either playing it on a bluetooth or something and I was like I'm about to shock the world with this edit.

Speaker 1:

Oh my god and I think even when it breathes, that goes, are y'all ready for this? And it goes into that and people are like pulling their hair out but no, I don't play the original. I would play the original higher.

Speaker 2:

Well, creed, right, I do that one yeah, I go, but I go right to Sure.

Speaker 1:

You can't this one takes forever to get to the chorus it does. I wouldn't. It would have been an edit, but it is a great song.

Speaker 2:

Well, we've got 25 songs on there, 25 we put on that list. Nice, so grab it. If you want Brian B here, yes, interrupting yet another stellar podcast episode, but don't worry, this is a value add, not just me rambling. Have you enjoyed the music finds I share on here? You know the ones that Joe pretends he discovered first. Well, if you didn't know, I've got a Patreon where you can grab not only song lists but also exclusive edits of mine, yep custom tracks. That will set you apart from every DJ still rinsing the same tired wedding set. Want fresh music suggestions every month? Go to patreoncom. Forward slash DJ Brian B official. Again, that's patreoncom forward. Slash DJ Brian B official. You'll be the DJ. Everyone's trying to figure out how you keep your sets so fire and planners will start nudging their couples your way. And if that's not a hard enough sell, I don't know what is All right. Back to the episode. Before Joe tries to convince us that sweet Caroline is actually a banger, let's hit the question. Let's hit the question.

Speaker 1:

You want to read it? Yeah, during dancing, the photographer asked you to call over different groups for quick photos. His family, her family, sorority squad fraternity bros. For quick photos his family, her family, sorority squad fraternity bros. Are you a team player who keeps the energy up and helps them get the shot, or do you say, fuck that. Mark Beecher from Brownsburg.

Speaker 2:

Indiana. This is another one of those ones where, once you get to a certain price point, you kind of fade a lot of these out.

Speaker 1:

I haven't done with this in a long time. I definitely did it three months ago in Charlotte. You did, yeah, and you're in peak dancing. No, I don't think I was. I think I was either in early dancing or end of dinner. Still, you're building. I wanted to go to dancing Right, and dinner is over and the plates are being cleared and the sun's gone down and I'm ready to make a move, and it was like, hey, you know, per the bride's request, can we get these shots? And it was exactly this type of thing.

Speaker 2:

So what do you do? What are you playing?

Speaker 1:

I'm definitely playing like a cocktail vibes list in the background. But I'm basically I'm not going dead air, I'm talking it and I'm going. All right, guys, hustle up, you know. Lambda, famda, famda, whatever, hustle up, hustle up, hustle up, hustle up, you know, quickly, you know. Back to the dj booth photographers. Let's just say she's standing on like a step stool that, like the one over there or whatever. Okay, guys, hurry, face her phrase, her. All right, perfect guys, moving on. Um, beta, theta, potato, whatever. Y'all come on up. You know what I mean. Like, so you're a team player? Yeah, man, I'm. I'm just doing it in trying to get it over and trying to make it fast and still play music and not, you know, make it so dull for the other people sitting in the audience having to watch this. You know ear cancer. Go on, yeah, and just keep it moving. What about you?

Speaker 2:

Same, I'm not going to be a hole, because technically, it's not really the photographer.

Speaker 1:

They don't want to do it either, right, but they've been instructed by the bride to collect these people. They don't want to do it either, but they've been instructed by the bride to collect these people. Again, it can be headed off if you know it's happening in that final planning meeting. Yes, let's pick a good spot together.

Speaker 2:

The other place that I also double-checked this is during dinner at the event, because sometimes this isn't even a thing. The bride sprung on them, it's weather-related, who knows? They ran out of time, they couldn't do it, they had. This isn't even a thing.

Speaker 1:

The bride sprung on them. It's weather related. Yeah, who knows? You know like they ran out of time. They couldn't do it.

Speaker 2:

They had to move things around that are delayed or whatever. So I always ask like hey, do you have any like group pictures that you have to get before we go into dancing? I'd love to knock it out at the latter half of this dinner so that that way we're not like taking up all this time, because then we can save more time for dancing at the end and that that's helped.

Speaker 1:

And I think you, you really need to push them to limit it to like four or five groups. Like let's not get into, you know, sunday school from 1989. Like we don't you know, like if you're on the women's soccer team at your college and you were in a frat or a, like yeah, let's do that and then just wrap it up the hard part is getting them all up there because they're sitting in their chair.

Speaker 2:

They don't want to do it either. Really, they're doing it at the behest of the couple. You're right, and so it's just like pulling teeth sometimes to do those things.

Speaker 1:

It is, but if you if you're, you just got to be aggressive on the mic and hustle them up and and be like this is important for mark and kim or whatever.

Speaker 2:

Like you know, guilt trip it. Yeah, yeah, well, thanks, mark dude.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, thanks, mark. He didn't say fuck it.

Speaker 2:

By the way, he put the duck logo yeah, so I don't want, I don't want to throw mark under the bus. I'm the one that added that.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, of course as always, shocking, uh, good episode bro you want to shout?

Speaker 2:
