Let Me Bleed In Peace Podcast

12. The luteal phase doesn't make you crazy, it makes you a walking bullsh*t detector

Claire Squires

In this episode I'm diving into the stereotype of women being 'crazy' during their premenstrual phase. Rather than becoming unhinged, we as women become highly sensitive to the truth and more discerning. We become walking bullshit detectors.

I discuss the harms of labelling women as 'crazy', drawing parallels to historical mistreatment and societal conditioning. I emphasise the importance of acknowledging and embracing all parts of ourselves, even the ones that emerge during the luteal phase. By doing so, we foster self-love, confidence, and reduce internal conflicts, ultimately leading to a more harmonious experience of our menstrual cycle.
