Bubble Club  is an immersive nightclub in East London co-created by people with learning disabilities.

We got an exclusive look behind the scenes: from their creative workshop space to the unforgettable night itself. We met the brilliant team making it all happen, including club manager Iona Ascherson, the unstoppable Tilley, and Del (the piggie) – all sharing their love for this groundbreaking community.

Bubble Club isn’t just a night out – it’s a movement. A place where people of all abilities and backgrounds come together to dance, express, and celebrate who they are.

Chickenshed is a theatre company for absolutely everyone. For fifty years, they have created bold and beautiful work from their limitless belief in each other. 

We got a special tour, went behind the scenes, and met some of the fantastic team who make it all happen.

Our guide for the afternoon was Matthew Lyons, head of Young Company, and we also had the pleasure of meeting Maya and Shiloh, who shared their love for this incredible theatre.

We were blown away by how Chickenshed celebrates inclusivity and brings people of all abilities and backgrounds together through the power of theatre.

Flo Perry is an artist who found her way to painting via an unusual path: chemistry!

Flo shared with us her artistic influences, her inspiring career change, and how she discovered happiness and balance through both painting and teaching, including her work with Community Focus.

We’re truly lucky to have her on the show. She talked us through her favourite painting and encouraged us all to pursue our dreams.
