This is a wonderful little moment of calm. After a very hectic week this is just what I needed, it's very effective. The music is very nice and relaxing, and the poem was glorious. I loved the words you used to describe the beautiful wonders of the world we live in. A brilliant piece of work right here.
Iβve just listened to Komorebi after a busy day and it was exactly what I needed. Your beautiful words and music are exactly evocative of sunlight dancing through the trees. Warm, gentle and reassuring. Thank you π₯° Storytime with Sarah's Little Bookshelf
Absolutely love this. As an adult, I found it very relaxing, which is very much needed after a stressful week. I very much appreciate the little things in life, it's nice to be reminded of this. Woodland walks are the best. I'm sure my daughters are gonna love this too, it will be great for bed time.
an absolutely beautiful poem, read in such a calm, soft and unhurried way. It serves as a gentle reminder to slow down and appreciate the nature all around us. I can't wait to hear more from this series. ππ
Another great story to add to your collection. My girls have enjoyed all of them. It's really well read and it teaches kids a very important lesson about not judging a book by it's cover. Love the music that goes with it too. Bravo! Very much looking forward to hearing more of your stories in the future.
A huge thank you to @sarah_slittlebookshelf for giving Sofia along with others kids the amazing opportunity to write their poems.Sofia has chosen to write about her pet cat Gizmo. Sarah, your kind words and shout out about her books meant so much for her(and us as parents). It is heartwarming to see how you are supporting and lifting up young talents. We are truly grateful.
"Beautifully Me" was beautifully read. Big well done to all the kids who took part, you were indeed very brave and your poems are fantastic, I loved them all. You read the poems spot on. Sofia (Fifi) said to me that your voice is "gentle and nice" and she likes how you explained it (you explained it really well). Grace really liked this eposide as well. I got the sense that the twins enjoyed the other children's poems too. You really are incredibly talented and great with children. Another brilliant addition to your collection. As always, we are very much looking forward to your future stories and poems :)
Another fantastic story to add to your wonderful collection. My daughters both loved it. They said this: "I love it, it's very good. I love the friendship that they made. They have beautiful names." and "very good teachings for younger children around the world" she further compared the differences between the characters to like the differences in people of different cultures and backgrounds, she gave a few examples like African, Indian and Filipino. I agree it sends a really good message to kids to understand and accept differences in others. Another big thumbs up from all of us here. Keep going! Brilliant work.
This is such a sweet story with a beautiful message! A perfect follow-on from the first Marshmallow story π₯° We can't wait to see what fun adventures Marshmallow & Bon Bon go on next!
Another excellent audio. It's very relaxing and beautifully written. My girls liked it. I like how it teaches about nature and also like how it brings mindfulness into it. Nice calm music to go with it too. Perfect for bedtime or any other wind down times
Bravo! Very well written and presented, it's good for kids of any age really, and there are some fantastic learning opportunities within it too. It's very relaxing and it would be great bed time story for your kids. The music goes really well with it too. My girls loved it. Here is what they had to say: Its really good, I liked how you explained it, I can really imagine it in my mind. I like the descriptive words, It made me sleep very quickly. Itβs very good. Its good for all ages, helps to learn about the little creatures of the world. Its very imaginable. 10 out of 10. Another big thumbs up from the Cartledge crew. Looking forward to hearing more.
We listened at Bedtime and it was sooo lovely!π₯° The poems were all beautiful and the music was very nice & calming too! My little boy's favourite was definitely Boris the Spider!π€©π·οΈ Thank you for another lovely episode for us to listen to!π
Very much enjoyed by my Young Ones. They found it easy to follow and enjoyed talking about the polar bears at the end, which lead to more learning βΊοΈβ€οΈ
My daughter really enjoyed this story and found some of it helpful for her own feelings and she felt she could relate to it, as well as opening discussions about how we are all different, special and unique and we may feel and react to things differently. She enjoyed it so much that she asked to listen to it again when it had finished. π
hi Sarah. Just listened to your tale of marshmallow you should be proud it was very good and I think little ones would enjoy it. Love Jayne ( Ro inson) xx
Ivy absolutely loved this story! She loved that the bear was named Marshmallow and loved how his Mummy, Pearl looked after him so well. She thought he was a "cheeky monkey", which made her laugh and smile. She can't wait for Marshmallow's next adventure.
This is a lovely story for children, a heartwarming tale about a little polar bear cub and his first foray into the world outside his den. The intro music is charming and really sets the mood for this light-hearted tale. I already love little Marshmallow ππ»ββοΈ and look forward to going on more adventures with him. Production is great and, like I said, the music really lifts the listening experience. Simply a lovely listen for you and your little ones. Anonymous.
Absolutely fantastic stuff. Really well read and easy to follow. Would highly recommend. Great story, looking forward to hearing more. Any kid would surely love this. My daughters also really enjoyed it. Without even asking her, my daughter Grace offered her own review. She said "Its really good, i can imagine it. She is a really good author. Itβs like an angel has wrote it. Its a great story." I got the sense from what she said that she was fully immersed in the story and it really had her engaged and was clearly picturing everything. She also said she liked the backing music. Big thumbs up here from the Cartledge crew. Feel free to share this
