Jake Overman
Jake Overman is a well-traveled college football tight end for the Pittsburgh Panthers. Overman, a California native, previously played for Oregon State from 2020-2023 before transferring to Pitt in January of 2024. As a 6th-year, he was named a captain for the team in 2025.
Overman is outspoken about his faith as a part of his leadership, and he recently joined with several Pitt teammates to lead an event called "Pitt For Jesus," which aimed to bring students at Pitt together to learn more about God and worship Him in September, 2025. The event served as an opportunity for students to hear about the Gospel, to commit their lives to Christ, to be baptized, to share testimonies, and to get connected to local churches.
