Brittany Wilkins
Brittany Wilkins is a native of Arlington, Nebraska, who played 5 years of NCAA Division 1 women’s basketball at Iowa State prior to a professional career in the WNBA and in Europe and Australia.
A mission trip prior to her senior season at Iowa State shifted her perspective on sports from playing for God, to recognizing she was playing with God. She credits this perspective change for her ability to have played professionally for as long as she did .
Following her playing career, she pursued a teaching and coaching career, first at a Catholic school in Tokyo, Japan, then back in the states in her hometown. She’s felt a nudge from the Lord to continue sharing her testimony with others, particularly young women athletes.
