PJ Riddell offers a positively different perspective on sports, as we apply Biblical principles to our own lives based on what we learn in discussing the weekly sports headlines, both nationally and locally. We go beyond the scoreboard to engage with sports differently, and every week we have a guest athlete, coach, chaplain, pastor, writer, or media personality join us to share their testimony and help us understand how we can use sports to share the light of Christ. It’s sports for every generation, where sports are about more than glorifying ourselves - they're about glorifying God. Beyond the Scoreboard — "a positively different look at sports!”

John Yoast

John Yoast is the morning show host on 107.5Alive WBYN in Boyertown, PA, in addition to serving as the station's program director and as a marketing consultant for WDAC Radio Company. At 107.5Alive, he saw a gap in the station's programming - there were programs discussing faith and it's place in politics, in media, in social norms, but there wasn't a local program discussing faith in sports, and mainstream sports media was missing the mark. John, along with PJ Riddell, brainstormed the concept of a local sports show that shared the Gospel through headlines and guests that addressed both local and national talking points. The show originally had a brief run as WBYN's Saturday Morning Sports in the summer of 2022 and fall of 2023, but it really took off once PJ returned to 107.5Alive/WDAC for good in October 2024, when the show was rebranded as Beyond The Scoreboard, becoming the show we know today.
