Nick Smart entered teaching at the age of 42 and has spent over 15 years as a primary teacher. Now, at 58, he is leaving the classroom and turning his focus to campaigning for change. As co-author of Silenced by Support, Nick is raising awareness of how informal support plans, settlement agreements and NDAs are driving thousands of teachers out of the profession. Passionate about justice and teacher wellbeing, he is determined to give voice to those who have been silenced.
