Rachel Arnold is the Director of Panda Education and Training Ltd., an organization dedicated to supporting trainers and assessors in post-16 education. With over 25 years of experience in work-based learning, Rachel’s journey began as an assessor and expanded through various roles, including Internal Quality Assurer (IQA), Team Manager, and Quality Director. In 2016, she co-founded Panda Education with Ros Protheroe to enhance the professional growth of tutors, trainers, and assessors.

Rachel’s career is fueled by her passion for vocational education and her commitment to empowering educators to inspire their learners. She believes in providing quality support and development to those shaping the future workforce. In addition to her work at Panda Education, Rachel is also a dedicated swimming coach, furthering her commitment to mentorship and skill development in her community.

Ros Protheroe is a highly experienced educator and trainer with over 25 years in the work-based learning sector. 
She began her career as an adult education tutor, quickly progressing into apprenticeship assessment and later assuming quality and leadership roles. 
Ros specialises in supporting trainers, assessors, and tutors in post-16 education, focusing on pedagogical approaches, learner motivation, and effective feedback. Her passion lies in empowering education professionals to develop their skills and provide high-quality teaching and training, ensuring learners achieve their full potential.
