Let's Get Naked
Let's Get Naked isn't about getting naked physically.
It's about stripping away the excuses, the ego, the victim stories, the BS we've all been dragging around, and taking an honest look in the mirror.
Every week, Anne Karber sits down with incredible guests—and occasionally goes off on her own—to tackle the conversations most people avoid. Emotional maturity. Relationships. Success. Failure. Trauma. Politics. Parenting. Addiction. Leadership. Money. Fear. Identity. Personal responsibility. Nothing's off limits.
If you're looking for polished interviews full of rehearsed talking points and inspirational clichés...you're probably in the wrong place.
If you're ready to laugh, get uncomfortable, challenge your own thinking, and maybe realize you've been making your own life harder than it needs to be...welcome.
Around here we believe:
- You can disagree without becoming enemies.
- Your triggers are teachers.
- Your past explains you, but it doesn't excuse you.
- Personal responsibility is freedom.
- Fixing your own shit is one of the greatest gifts you can give everyone around you.
Some episodes will make you laugh.
Some will punch you in the emotional face.
The best ones usually do both.
So pull up a chair, leave your ego at the door, and...
Let's Get Naked.
Disclaimer (Because Apparently We Need One)
Let's get a few things straight...
I'm not a therapist. I'm not a psychologist. I'm not a psychiatrist. I'm not your life coach. I don't even play one on the internet.
I'm just a curious human who has spent a ridiculous amount of time fixing my own shit, talking to fascinating people, asking uncomfortable questions, and occasionally saying the quiet part out loud.
This show is full of stories, opinions, observations, questionable analogies, wildly inappropriate laughter, and an unhealthy amount of oversharing. If something resonates, awesome. If it inspires you to look at your own life a little differently, even better.
But this podcast is not therapy, medical advice, legal advice, financial advice, or permission to text your ex.
If your life is genuinely kicking your ass, please go talk to someone who's actually qualified. Asking for help is badass.
Also, the opinions shared here belong to us, our guests, and whoever was brave enough to sit in front of the microphones that day. They don't represent our employers, sponsors, families, neighbors, or anyone else who'd probably prefer plausible deniability.
Now that we've handled the grown-up stuff...
Take what serves you.
Leave what doesn't.
And for the love of all things holy...
Fix your shit.

Let's Get Naked
Fuck You: Pronouns
Use Left/Right to seek, Home/End to jump to start or end. Hold shift to jump forward or backward.
This episode of Let's Get Naked tackles the controversial topic of forced pronouns and the pushback against societal 'herd' mentality. We explore why many individuals feel their personal lanes are being invaded by corporate and medical mandates that demand specific linguistic and ideological compliance. The discussion highlights the importance of staying true to oneself while allowing others to do the same, provided they don't force their beliefs on you. We examine the emotional exhaustion that comes from being expected to care about every injustice at the expense of one's own family and community. Join us for a candid conversation about boundaries, personal sovereignty, and the refusal to be shamed into compliance.
What You'll Learn:
- Why personal lanes are essential for social harmony
- The impact of corporate pronoun mandates on employee autonomy
- The difference between empathy and performative activism
- How to stand firm in your identity against external pressure.
Stay true to your lane and protect your peace.

This podcast dives deep into real, raw topics—think vulnerability, triggers, and childhood trauma. But just so we're super clear: I’m not a licensed therapist, mental health professional, or anything close. I’m just a human sharing stories, lessons, and life hacks based on personal experience and a whole lot of curiosity.
So, while you might find some golden nuggets here, this is not therapy and should never replace professional mental health care. If you or someone you love is going through it, please—seriously—reach out to a licensed therapist or healthcare provider. You deserve the real deal.

Is anyone else out there tired of having other people try to plant their trees in your yard? This is a topic to me that really kind of gets me going. So it's the whole pronouns thing. I encourage everyone to do whatever the fuck they want because I think that's the right move. And also, I would love you to stay the fuck out of my lane because I'm not interested in pronouns. I know who I am, I'm very comfortable in who I am, I'm very solid in who I am. The idea that you think that it's okay to come in my lane and tell me what I need to put on forms, which I think, you know, my pronoun for that is just F U. If you if on a doctor's form or something like that you're asking what my pronouns are, eat a dick. That's that's what that's what that makes me feel like is eat a dick. Uh again, I want everyone to do whatever they want. If your pronouns are they, them, or your pronouns or whatever, by all means stay in your lane, do whatever you want. You want to start speaking pig Latin, you want to start uh using symbols instead of names, you want to start doing whatever, it doesn't matter. Uh, but stay the fuck out of my lane. Stop telling other people what they have to do. You know, when I see emails, corporate emails, where it's like your pronouns are at the bottom of that, I would never work for a company that did that. If my company said, here's what you have to do, I would literally pick up my fucking red stapler and walk the fuck out. Like, how is that even something that people are putting up with? Do you, again, if everyone wants to be sheep, get in line, get in the fucking herd, do whatever everybody else throws down your throat and you can choke on it. And that's literally no problems to me. I have no problems with that. Just do it in your own lane. I don't want you in mine. I have people in my life who feel the exact same way. We are so tired of being quiet about this whole situation so that we don't hurt other people's feelings. Here's the deal: your life isn't going to magically fix itself. Nobody's coming to save you. But you can learn how to save yourself. That's what this book is. It's a no BS guide to stop outsourcing your happiness, stop making excuses, and start living with purpose. If you're tired of waiting for someday, consider this your wake-up call. Someday is today. Get your copy of the Life Hack Playbook on Amazon or on the podcast website, let's get nakedpodcast.com. I I don't care what you do. Do whatever you fucking want. Just stop pushing it on us. When you push other things like that on everybody else, you're just an asshole. You know, you're a complete fucking asshole that's putting your will, your thoughts, your beliefs in on other people. It just, to me, it's completely fucking outrageous. I don't go around and tell people about what my preferences for things are and force them to change and modify the way that they speak or the way that they think or the way that they believe so that I feel comfortable. Like that's your own bullshit. The pronoun thing is that's your own stuff. So the fact that you think that you can force that on other people, fuck you. Fuck you, fuck you, fuck you. I just, I literally cannot fucking get my head around it. Um, those people that think that they can assert their fucking will onto other people, their thoughts, their feelings, their beliefs, and then shame those people for not doing it, it's outrageous to me. It's like, it's like I've listened to other people's shame. Not in my not in my life, because you try to come fucking tell me what I should do, I'll tell you to go fuck yourself. But I watch as other people who don't want to speak up, who don't want to deal with the fallout, who don't want to have to listen to other people go like, well, there's people out there that are addicted. I don't give a fuck. There are people starving and all over the fucking country. There are terrible things that happen all the fucking time. I don't care. Doesn't mean that I'm not fucking a good person or empathetic or any of the things. I don't have the bandwidth for that. I'm literally trying to work hard, raise my fucking family, be a good person, and fucking take care of my community and do whatever I can to give back. The last thing that I need to do is worry about every injustice that's ever happened at any point in time, anywhere on the fucking planet. Like it's not happening. Keep your shit to yourself. Keep your shit to yourself, right? Go sell crazy somewhere else. We're all stocked up here. That's all I'm gonna say about that.
