As part of our FU series today, we're going to talk about moral grandstanding. And I find this to be fascinating because everyone has their way of what they stand behind and what they believe. And so people that politically stand behind their side and then want to, you know, holler at everyone else, or people that stand behind religion or the Bible. I had someone this past week make a comment of something super passive aggressive, uh, that where they stood behind a Bible verse, right? That was how they used uh whatever their moral high ground was going to be, is that they're going to quote the Bible and then somehow I'm going to go, oh my God, how how fucking profound that is that someone said that. Just so everyone understands, I think that's all a joke. I think organized religion is obviously a joke. So if you're in my comment section uh putting, you know, biblical verses to save your time, like uh you're barking up the wrong fucking tree. Also, I don't think that there's anything less attractive than a passive aggressive man. Here's the deal: your life isn't going to magically fix itself. Nobody's coming to save you. But you can learn how to save yourself. That's what this book is. It's a no BS guide to stop outsourcing your happiness, stop making excuses, and start living with purpose. If you're tired of waiting for someday, consider this your wake-up call. Someday is today. Get your copy of the Life Hack Playbook on Amazon or on the podcast website, let's get nakedpodcast.com. Uh, literally, I'm looking at the list in my mind of like least attractive qualities. Yeah. Passive aggressive man is literally uh the least attractive thing I can fucking come up with. So putting out a Bible verse where you hide behind your religion and the Bible uh for your moral high ground, and then and then you can go take a look at somebody's fucking profile and see what they're all about. Also, I love that. Being able to say like uh the human facts concept of what is someone presenting and then what is someone actually? Because on the profile, it's all of these amazing inspirational quotes, and then you go ahead and take a look at someone's comments and it's disgusting. It's like the hypocrisy, which is also the biggest part of the problem with organized religion that I have, is just the hypocrisy with all of it. But um, if you think that you're morally better than someone else, that your moral compass for some reason has a bigger weight than someone else's, or don't have the understanding that moral compasses are different and specific to individuals. People's are different all the way across our planet. Uh someone, because of the way that they were brought up or the culture or whatever that is, could have a completely different moral compass than you do. And also that's okay. But to stand on that, to think that you're somehow superior or better than someone else because of that is complete bullshit. Uh so my fuck you today is if you're using religion, politics, activism, or virtue uh to climb onto a moral high horse and look down on everyone else, fuck you. And that's all we're gonna say about that.
