The Dark Side: Shannon Sharpe's Multiple Accusers Speak Out
The Shannon Sharpe scandal has taken a dramatic turn as multiple women come forward with strikingly similar allegations spanning nearly two decades. This deep-dive episode examines the explosive new interview with Michelle Evans, who dated Sharpe from 2002 to 2010 and has filed her own lawsuit alleging battery and sexual assault.
What makes this case particularly compelling is the pattern emerging across accusations. Evans describes violent incidents, manipulation tactics, and threats that mirror those in the recent lawsuit filed by a 19-year-old accuser. Both women claim Sharpe threatened to "make sure no other man would want them" – a specific threat mentioned independently by both accusers. With text messages, audio recordings, and Sharpe's own admissions providing disturbing context, the smoke around these allegations continues to grow.
Perhaps most telling is Sharpe's reported $10 million settlement offer that was declined by his recent accuser. This substantial sum suggests there may be particularly damaging evidence Sharpe hopes to keep private – possibly the "30 seconds of video" he himself has acknowledged exists. The episode also reveals exclusive information from a reliable source who witnessed Sharpe with a female companion who had a visible black eye and appeared frightened, adding another troubling dimension to this developing story.
As Stephen A. Smith confirms ESPN executives are closely monitoring the situation, Sharpe's $100 million contract hangs in the balance. This raw, unfiltered analysis examines not just the legal implications, but the ethical questions surrounding a 56-year-old public figure's interactions with significantly younger women. When does smoke indicate fire? At what point must we acknowledge patterns of behavior? This thought-provoking episode tackles these questions head-on.

No, did he. The thoughts, views and opinions shared on the flow show no filter are for educational and entertainment purposes only. I am not a professional, I am just Good, happy, happy, thirsty Thursday to everybody out there. Make sure you're drinking your water. I'm going to tell you right now this is going to be a tough episode, but we're going to get through it and it's just a lot of new information. That's so crazy. I haven't had even a lot of time to process it. But you know how we do. This is no filter. We're going to talk about the uncomfortable subjects and we ain't going to hold back. I ain't got no story, nothing. I'm just gonna get right into it, y'all. I'll have some story, maybe a story at the end of the show, maybe.
Speaker 1:But y'all, shannon Sharp is cooked and I'm talking about I don't even the outcome of the court that, if we all know, shannon Sharp is dealing with a 50 million dollar lawsuit of alleged grape, amongst other things, from the accuser. We've seen text messages and we've heard audio saying all kind of nasty things. I don't even need to go into all of that. It's going to be enough of that on this show today. But it's gotten worse. We got more accusers have come out. Another accuser who has also filed, previously filed and, I guess, refiled hers. This is another, michelle, and they worked together. Her and Shannon Sharp were together for 10 years. It's getting ugly, I'm going to tell you right now. Stephen A even spoke on it, but I would be surprised if shannon makes it past tomorrow at espn. It's that bad. It's that bad and um, I even had to make extra notes today because it's just so much. I don't want to miss anything. Just Just sit back, relax. This ain't one of those episodes you want to dip in and out on.
Speaker 1:Every minute is going to be some crazy information and, like I always say, it's up to y'all to. I have my own source, which is a very close source, damn near like family um, a person who is not in the loop of social media, a person that's not looking for clout, a person that's living their family life and don't even get involved in none of this mess. They had information that they just so happen to have, um about shannon sharp and things that they saw with their own eyes. And you know, I always tell y'all I'm not bringing information, that's just. You know willy-nilly stuff, unless I tell you hey, I got it from this blog, but this information and it's really got me really messed me up about this whole shannon sharp thing. So I got my own source and information that shared some disturbing stuff with me and we're gonna talk about that too. So, uh, hey, hey, joe, joe, but it's buenos, buenos diaz, buenos diaz, that's my, my puerto rico, my puerto rico people. Uh, shout out to y'all. But, uh, thank you for joining us.
Speaker 1:Just give you a little information to make sure y'all know, this is the flow show, no filter. You can join me live every monday through friday at 7 30 am eastern standard time. If you can't make that time, the show is automatically posted on Facebook and YouTube, on my YouTube channel, flow Daddy Flow, if you want to see it. If you prefer the audio, which I have a huge audio crowd. The audio, of course, is available on Apple and Spotify.
Speaker 1:Today is Thirsty Thursday, so you know I got to drink our water, but y'all, I've been working for about three or four hours before this, so bear with me. This is not an easy one. So much information to get to on this Shannon Sharp stuff, man, y'all not going to believe it. But anyway, without further ado, let's get into it. First of all, like I said, shannon Sharp. I would be surprised if he makes it past tomorrow through the weekend at ESPN, just because all the information that's coming out, there was a recent, the recent accuser, michelle, who was with him for 10 years. She just did an interview, an explosive interview, with Tasha Kay going over things from her own physical altercations with Shannon. She has her own lawsuit going and she pretty much her story repeats the story of the recent accuser that has said Shannon sharp did all kind of crazy wild things, manipulated, blah, blah, blah, all kind of stuff. And this interview right here is crazy. So before I get into that, um, also, I was telling my friend yesterday uh, don't be surprised if you see more and more come, more and more accusers. Uh, this is busby in in this, this uh interview today that the lady did the debrief, another accuser, not the one we just found out about, the other, michelle. Uh, this is something that was already in the works, so this is like like nothing new and she has some crazy stuff to say. So don't be surprised if you see a lot more accusers come out of the woodwork. Um, this is one of those cases and the lady who spoke with Tasha K is Michelle Evans, and she talked about battery and all types of stuff. So we're going to get right into it.
Speaker 1:I'm going to play some clips from the Tasha K interview, which just dropped last night. It just dropped last night and you have to be a paid subscriber. So, of course, I'm a journalist, so I'm subscribed to every blog and every podcast known to men that may give information. So if you're not subscribed to tasha k's uh site, no problem, I am. And I'm about to go into great detail. This just dropped last night. So basically, let me give you a little context. Uh, michelle, I'm working off listening y'all this so serious. Today I got paper written notes, I got my ipad with notes and my usual phone that you always see me with.
Speaker 1:This is so michelle met shannon sharp in 2002 at a press conference. Now, they didn't connect at the press conference. She said she later met Shannon later on that year at a club and that's when they started dating for real and they dated until 2010. And the way she says how they really got close is there was a crazy altercation at Terrell Davis' house. If you remember Terrell Davis, he's a football player that played on the Denver Broncos. Back in the day he was a running back, one of the best running backs ever. He was a friend of Shannon's and they both played on the Denverver broncos. Now, uh, immediately let me let you know terrell davis, she said, is a great guy and she has nothing bad to say about him. She says he has a great rapport. So I just want to get that out in the open first, since I mentioned his name, and I don't like mentioning people's name in this mess, especially without being 100 clear on what's going on.
Speaker 1:So she said, before they even had any type of sexual intercourse or anything like that, there was a crazy incident at Terrell Davis' house that Shannon Sharp did to her before, you know, when they first kind of met and hooked up. And so I'm going to play that first and then we're gonna go from there y'all, just like I said. I hope y'all ready for this and bear with me because, like I said, this information is new so it's gonna be be a little like freestyle. But let me go through the story first before I play the clip. So she says Shannon Sharp was pushing her or something and ended up and grabbed her by the vagina and she was uncomfortable, and then she said he got mad at her because he got mad at her, as if he was supposed to be able to do that. Then she also says she found out about the battery about his child's mother.
Speaker 1:She also says about a violent altercation where she, uh, was having intercourse with shannon and she was on her period, or a period came and then he, so she got some. This is triggering. She got some like blood on him and then he went crazy and threw her off the bed and she bumped her head or something like that. Also, uh, she went into things that he liked. That may not, I mean, I mean, be strange for some people, maybe not, but she also went into the fact that he liked his behind play with and I'm only telling this in context of all of what's being said and their closeness. I don't get into how somebody want to have sex. That's their business. But for this particular case, when you're dealing with a sexual case and you're trying to look at patterns, is somebody telling the truth? Do you see a pattern of what's going on? You got all that going on and so you got to look at everything. So just bear with me, today I'm giving y'all all the information so y'all can do with it with y'all, which y'all may. It's up to y'all. No jokes today. This is just straight hardcore information. Also, she said the last time and this is the craziest part she says the last time they were together, I guess in 2010,. She says that he raped her and this is what her lawsuit is about. This is what her lawsuit is about. Lawsuit is about. This is what her lawsuit is about and it just goes in line with what the new lawsuit is about.
Speaker 1:Now, full transparency. Y'all know that I am a Shannon Sharp fan. He is an inspiration in the podcast space. But y'all know I keep it real and I just give y'all my honest opinion and I give you my honest evidence and stuff that I uncover. So it's not easy for me. It's not somebody trying to tear down shannon sharp.
Speaker 1:If I, if I didn't believe in the integrity and giving y'all the truth, I wouldn't even be talking about a lot of this stuff. But After getting the information from a close, close friend last night and all of this new information and hearing Natasha Kay interview for myself, I can't even I wouldn't be able to come on here and not tell y'all I wouldn't feel good about. You know my career as a journalist and the trust that y'all put in me to give y'all the unbiased truth, so I'm just giving full transparency. This ain't easy for me to do, y'all know. I told y'all I'm a Shannon Sharp fan, but I'm also a truth teller and I'm going to give y'all the truth every time. So she said that he filed, that he was manipulative and all type of stuff went on. This is Michelle Evans. She also uh said that uh, he a lot of the stuff that's said in a new recent lawsuit by Gabby says that a lot of the same stuff that she said also happened to her, and so she said it's kind of like deja vu. So not only do we have a recent allegation with the 19 year old and Shannon is almost 60 but we have someone else, another Michelle, who is documented it's well documented their relationship for 10 years and tells the same story.
Speaker 1:Now, as I'm trying to pull up the uh actual interview now, for some reason some crazy music kept playing. I'm gonna go ahead and tell you what my close friend said while I'm working on getting this Tasha K interview to pull up. But so I have a close friend who's who said already before years ago that Shannon Sharp tried to talk to her back in the day and she said you know, he's not her type. She never even thought twice about talking to him and that was all. That was the extent of that. It was nothing, you know. We never went into no detail at that time.
Speaker 1:Like I said, this person is somebody that's not in the social media world, not. She's just living her life in her family life. She don't need no clout. She ain't looking for no money. She doesn't even know. She didn't even know that all this was going on with shannon sharp. That's how much out of the loop she is. So she, she found out because it was told to her today, I mean yesterday and so what she told after, after she went into the uh thing about he tried to talk to at her job he used to come up to her job all the time she went ahead and said some stuff that Really, really really shook me to the core, especially with the allegations. She said a particular time that Shannon Sharp came into her store, a particular time that Shannon Sharp came into her store, he had his either his girlfriend or assistant with him and she had a black eye and she had a black eye and she said that the young lady was very scared.
Speaker 1:She said the young lady was very scared. She said the young lady was very scared and she also said that Shannon Sharp treated her and and treats all of his women like slaves. Now, the reason I'm telling you this is because this ain't no he say she say source from I don't know where. This is somebody who has no reason to lie, wouldn't lie to me, don't even care about none of this social media news cycle, none of that. This person is living their family life, taking care of their family, like they don't even care about any of this.
Speaker 1:It just so happened. I'm like, while she's telling me this, I'm like are you serious? Like okay, so I think I got it going up. So I'm like so now I'm looking at all of these cases and I'm like I mean all of these allegations kind of in a different light. Like I said, this is equivalent of your, your sister or your best friend telling you. It's like she's not lying and now everything sounds good. So I got the interview now. Now everything sounds good. So I got the interview now. So now we're gonna go into michelle evans uh, what she said. And, like I said, trigger warning. If you don't want to hear nothing too crazy today, go ahead and and clock out, because it's about to get kind of serious 2002.
Speaker 2:And it wasn't until he saw me out at a club Blue 67, for those of you who live in Denver I don't even know if it's still around, but it was Blue 67. He approached me and started to try to pursue me quite hard at that point and I resisted for a while, but eventually I gave in. What did you find?
Speaker 3:attractive about him? Charming. Anything started to try to pursue me quite hard at that point and I resisted for a while, but eventually I gave in. What did you find attractive about?
Speaker 2:him Charming Anything? Oh yeah, he's very charming. He didn't have to bend like this, but he was nice to me, he, he was nice to me. He actually bailed me out of jail after a night of.
Speaker 1:I don't even know what to call it. So they bailed her out of jail after a night at a DUI where the DUI was actually dismissed and the DUI was actually dismissed.
Speaker 2:I don't even know what to call it, but he had pushed me into the car after the club and we hadn't had sex yet. And he pushed me back into his vehicle a white, I forget what kind, but it was an suv and he pushed me without any warning and then, when I was on my back, he grabbed my vagina and again, we hadn't even had sex or anything. Um but so this was at terrell Davis's house.
Speaker 3:Shout out to Terrell Davis Okay.
Speaker 2:You're the first person I've told that.
Speaker 3:You were at Terrell Davis house. You guys hadn't had sex yet and he pushed you into the vehicle. Were you drunk?
Speaker 2:No, no, I wasn't actually. I had had a long day of editing my show.
Speaker 3:Oh, cause you were. You were because you are a reporter as well too.
Speaker 2:Yeah, okay, and I haven't done it recently.
Speaker 1:Well, for the New York Times, I wrote a piece, so I'm going to pause it right there. She's a reporter. That's how she met Shannon and she said after the club, they were going into Rell Davis house, they hadn't had sex yet and Shannon Sharp pushed her into his vehicle and that's when he grabbed her vagina and this is her first time sharing this with anybody. And she had a lawsuit she filed in 2023 about all of this. So this is way before this 100 million dollar contract. You know all and I'm gonna say right now we can put to bed all those conspiracy theories. And you know me, I'll dig into a conspiracy theory. Even on diddy, I told y'all I thought that the liquor company may have had something to do with all of this, but not meaning that you know they might have got the ball rolling, but did he caused it by doing all of this stuff? He did, but what got him busted was, I think I think there were some hands that put some, put some stuff out there to make sure he got what he deserved or whatever. So I'll dig into a conspiracy theory. But on this Shannon Sharp I'm talking about, I've been doing hours of research. I've talked to close friends who actually know what the hell going on, and this ain't no conspiracy, this is just to me. This is a sexually undisciplined man who blew up pretty fast and if you blow up fast and you got a lot of smoke around you and a lot of craziness that you've done, it'll come out.
Speaker 1:So after that incident she ended up being left at Terrell Davis' house. Shannon Sharp was mad at her. Shannon Sharp leaves the house and she's at Terrell Davis house. Shannon Sharp was mad at her. Shannon Sharp leaves the house and she's at Terrell Davis house. She ended up sleeping there, uh, by herself, and then she gets into it with some dude another she said it was one of Shannon and Terrell Davis's groupie and that's where the little, another little altercation happened. And then she left and went home. She wanted, she went to sleep, woke up in the morning or whatever, and she wanted to um, what's the word? Like she wanted to show the bruises. So the police, she called the police station and said, hey, I want to show you these bruises. I was, I was in a I got, you know, thrown around by a guy. And so when she leaves the house she is pulled over for a DUI, like right around the corner, almost like the people were waiting for her, like she said. So I don't know if that was a setup or what, but the DUI she went to jail and Shannon ended up bailing her out. The thing is the DUI ended up getting dropped because she said how did I? She even said she said how did I get a DUI the next day and that eventually was dropped.
Speaker 1:So then they started. You know, shannon pursued, pursued. She said he's charming. They ended up dating and then she started digging and finding out things in his past. She mentioned that she found out about the battery of his child's mother and also other things and other altercations of her own battery, and we're going to get into that next. This is trying to throw me out. Give me a second. Y'all 17 minutes, okay, 19 minutes, like I said, y'all just a lot of info.
Speaker 2:Bear with me me when he pushed me, when he assaulted me, after I bled on him, and this it wasn't the first time and that's why he got mad.
Speaker 1:he just exploded saying I always do it to him, so check this out, check this out. This is what I'm talking about.
Speaker 2:As far as the, he pushed me okay, cool, I think at the time, the timing of one of them I think he the timing-wise, based on his kid's age. I think that it was, but I'm just speculating, I don't know.
Speaker 3:Okay, so you think it was like maybe his children's father or something like that. Yeah, that had domestic reports on him, okay, cool. And so when you say pushed you, what would make him push you? Describe a scenario where he pushed you.
Speaker 2:I don't well, when he pushed me into the vehicle for one, when he pushed me off the bed, when he pushed me, when he assaulted me after I bled on him and it wasn't the first time and that's why he got mad he just exploded saying I always do it to him and I didn't even know that it was a problem. He pushed me so hard I fell off the bed. I got bruised up and scraped up. I was a hair inch away from furniture that hitting my head would have been really bad. So I was very lucky in that respect, but it was a very violent episode.
Speaker 3:Now, when you say like I'm sorry that happened to you, when you say bled on you, what do you mean? Bled on him?
Speaker 2:We were having sex and I apparently started my period. I was on top of him and he realized that I was bleeding on him and he just lost it.
Speaker 3:He lost his shit and you, and what did he do, like when you bled on him? What did he do when you say lost his shit?
Speaker 2:I was on top of him, we were having sex and he pushed me. He forcefully pushed me so hard. He pushed me all the way off of the bed and onto the floor where I almost hit my head and I got bruises and scrapes.
Speaker 3:Damn.
Speaker 1:Yeah, so that's one incident that she had. Now, like I said, this is Michelle Evans. This is not the recent accuser. Gabby, this is Michelle Evans, so I don't want to get anybody confused. This is not the new accuser, this is a previous accuser. And so, yes, sherry, there is, there is, and in his public record he had a battery. It's on online, anybody can look it up. It was a battery charge with he was forcefully removed. His child's mother.
Speaker 1:Another thing that came out of this interview was she says she found out that he's paying child support to four different women and, of course, we only know that he has three kids. We know the one mother, but we don't know the mother of the other two kids. So I don't know, um, if there's any credence to that that was just said in the interview. Um, and also she started getting into some heavier stuff and, like I said, I'm not going to harp on the this part, but it just adds to. I mean, how freaky, or, like you know, how freaky is this whole thing? Like, how freaky can you get at some point? How freaky can you get at some point? And so also, she talks about that he always want, he always wanted her to play with his rear end and stuff like that. I don't like. I don't judge people's sexual pleasure, so I already going into that. But the reason why I'm even bringing it up is if you listen to the new lawsuit from Gabby that he named Gabby Shannon named her. She said that one particular incident in lawsuit is when she didn't want to do anything and he did anyway and she said she wanted him to put a condom on and he refused. And then also this accuser says the same exact thing. So it's just a pattern. And, like I said, when you work for Disney, you got to remember he works for ESPN.
Speaker 1:Whether you believe these people or not, this is too much smoke for disney, too much smoke for espn. And also when you have battery charges, when you have multiple lawsuits and you got different women saying the same thing, one dating back to 2002, that dated him for 2002 to 2010. And then you have a recent one of a 19 year old and you are almost 60. You have pretty much ruined your credibility. Because I say again, everybody that says it's legal and it's this and that type in the comments loud and proudly that you would be fine with your 19 year old daughter sleeping and bringing a 60 year old man home, type it in the comments loud and proud since it.
Speaker 1:For the people that believe that, like I said, I'm gonna say it again this is devastating to me to even hear this stuff. So I, um, I do not even want to talk about this today, but how could I not, especially, like I said, on top of everything you're hearing and anybody in the comments that will say, please, y'all we missing 45 likes. Can everybody definitely like the live. Please, if you're in here, please like it. Um, thank you, um.
Speaker 1:But when you have a close friend who doesn't care about this, she don't give a damn about clout, she don't even know that the shannon sharp stuff is going on. She is not in this world at all. She's a good person. She's somebody I would trust with my child, with money, with everything. That's how close she is and she's a very stand-up young lady, a young lady that a lot of people, you will want your, your daughter or whatever, to grow up and be like her. So I take her word, I, I, I believe her. And she said out of her own mouth that shannon sharp came in there. One of his assistants or girlfriends or whatever had a black eye. She was very scared and said that shannon sharp treats all his women like slaves.
Speaker 1:This is not somebody who gossips. This is not somebody who would have any and I'm sure wouldn't tell this to anybody else. This is just a close person who I've known about their ties to Shannon Sharp for years now. We never talked about none of this stuff. It was, hey. I remember back in the day Shannon Sharp tried to talk to me. I didn't give him no play. That was the extent of it. She didn't go in and say all this other stuff. I didn't ask her none of that, but recently, when I let her know about the accusations and stuff that's going on, when I let her know about the accusations and stuff that's going on, that's what made her say, well, this, this, this and that about the black guy and about this and that this is my family type person. So anybody in the comments that's saying anything just realize I'm somebody who doesn't want to even say this shit.
Speaker 1:And two, I'm getting information from horse's mouth and the people I'm getting information from aren't trying to get no lawsuit. I didn't pay them. They are not getting anything. I'm not naming who it is. They are literally getting nothing out of it. So they literally have no reason to lie or make up anything because they're not getting anything out of it. So they literally have no reason to lie or make up anything because they're not getting anything out of it. They just know that I bring the truth and they want to tell me the truth of what's going on.
Speaker 1:Like I said, he's still innocent until proven guilty. It's just my job as a journalist to give you information that I come across and you can decide. Like I said, it's tough. I even got people in my comments, I mean in my inbox, like I said, all colors of creed black, white, old, young men, women that feel the same way. I feel they don't want none of this to be true. But with all of this information and then on top of that I got somebody that's basically family telling me these type of stories what am I supposed to do? I hope it ain't true. I just losing. I'm losing faith. I'm losing faith.
Speaker 1:And so the interview goes on. Like I said, I'm not even playing the. You know if I was just a person who wanted to tear somebody down or do this for clicks and views, there is so much shock value, nasty stuff that was said in this interview. I'm not even going into that because I'm not here for that. I'm here for to present evidence that may show that he's he really did this or maybe he didn't. Maybe you don't believe it. I'm not here for shock value and to just talk about nasty stuff, because if you subscribe to Tasha K interview, she went into detail about what he liked and in all of that and, like I said, I don't have to go into all of that. And so, like I said, and then towards the end she said even the other Michelle was in charge of basically harassing her and that was Shannon Sharp's assistant Michelle and so many Michelles.
Speaker 1:And then she goes into she think that he purposely and you know, a lot of people think this purposely did the live, the Instagram live, when he came out and said I mean you heard him having sex or whatever, done on purpose, not only just because all the rumors about the um, uh, alternative lifestyle, whatever you um I don't know how to say it without being too the alternative lifestyle rumors that shannon had, she said not only do she think that was a publicity stunt, but she also said I mean a publicity stunt to change the narrative, but she also believes because he has like two or three Michelles in the mix and he manipulates all of them. She said that she believes he purposely used the name Mama Shell or whatever to trigger. Another thing that was said in this interview that is in line with Gabby. The new lawsuit that Shannon is fighting is that Shannon told her allegedly that he was going to make sure that once it was all pretty much over, he was going to make sure that no other guy would want to talk to her. That's where her defamation lawsuit came in. She's defamation and she's suing him for the grape.
Speaker 1:That happened to non consensual acts and if you dig into the new one, she says a similar thing. She says that he told her he would make sure that nobody wanted to talk to her. He would make sure that, basically, her name was, you know, slutted out. I'm fighting for the words, cause I'm trying not to use too many crazy words, so bear with me. She said that. So, like I said, this is a lot of smoke and the ESPN job is on the line. Money is on the line and not just money and jobs is is. It's just sad all across the board. It's just sad all across the board. It's just sad all across the board. But Shannon Sharp is in big, big trouble and people that are that are saying you know, somebody just trying to tear somebody down and and and all of that, that like y'all not doing him no favors or doing anybody like him no favors, because I'm the first one to come to come to y'all with this conspiracy theory or you know, it's deeper than this and this and that, but it's just way too much smoke. We got to put a lot of responsibility on Shannon Sharp at this point.
Speaker 1:More things that she said. So she was also a reporter herself. So they are saying rumors that she worked for ESPN. I wasn't able to confirm that, so I'll just say that's the rumor that she actually worked for ESPN back in the day. But, as you heard out of her own mouth, she was a reporter for LA what she said, la Times or the New York Times. She did some. She did some um stories for them.
Speaker 1:But I'm gonna get some more. Get into this. Uh, some more of this tasha k interview for you guys. Uh, give me a second, I'm gonna get go down to the part she talks about. The last time she talks about, I'm gonna, we're gonna to talk about the child support situation and after that we're going to go into the last time that her and Shannon saw each other and when the unconsensual stuff happened. So give me a second to get to this at the 30 minute mark and the 35 minute mark. Ok, minute mark. Okay, y'all this is. I just appreciate y'all because y'all make me feel comfortable, but this is not an easy episode for me to do. I was actually I'm never nervous. I was actually nervous before this episode. This is just a lot. I ain't even had time to process it myself. You can probably hear it in my voice, so you had to play in his butt.
Speaker 1:And he.
Speaker 3:Your ass as well, too. Did he require that? All the time, all the?
Speaker 2:time, all the time, almost every time, probably every time.
Speaker 1:Now she's talking about requiring the rear end stuff. Yeah, she's about to go into Every time you and Shannon had sex. You about requiring the rear end stuff. Yeah, she's about to go into.
Speaker 3:Every time you and Shannon had sex, you had to play in his butt and he fucked you in your ass.
Speaker 2:Yes, pretty much. There might have been a time or two, but for the most part that's pretty much the case. Call the lawyer. Call the lawyer.
Speaker 1:Call the lawyer. Call the lawyer. She's about to get into the battery. I mean the child support.
Speaker 3:We've been Get the money ready. Go ahead, girl, go ahead.
Speaker 2:So yeah, there's a lot of inconsistent things, like when I was doing my research. Another thing I found out about him which was really bizarre to me he talks about his three kids all the time. Girl, why did I find that he was paying child support to four women? You got both. I don't know what. I wouldn't think that's what it means. Why would you be paying child support to four women? Oh the why? If so, if he really does, imagine how bad that other kid feels not getting included. So I don't know I don't know if he does or not, but I sure can't explain it away I can't understand why he would be paying poor women child support.
Speaker 1:Let me ask you something. I just want you to hear that for yourself. But now this is the part that's going to get. Whether this is true or not, this is the part coming up that's going get him in trouble with espn for sure you know, and that's fluid, it can change, that's the thing it can change.
Speaker 2:Sexuality is fluid okay, okay.
Speaker 3:So, with everything coming out, are you surprised that gabby is now claiming that he raped her? Because you said the last time y'all were together. According to you, he raped you yes, tell me about that.
Speaker 2:I have nothing to do with him. Um, uh, tell you about what, what?
Speaker 2:the rape, the rape, the alleged rape oh well, I can't really get into that because of the lawsuit. But, um, okay, I was telling him no, just like she says, I was telling him no and he did it anyway. He doesn't. I agree with his, with her lawyer. He does not understand that you can have sex with them as many times as you want, but when you tell him no, when he forces himself on you, then that's a no and that's a, that's a rape okay, okay, I understand that I respect your lawsuit.
Speaker 3:You've given us a lot here. Um, what do you want the public to know about him? Like? So everything that's coming out about him and your opinion from your experience, this is this is true.
Speaker 2:I mean I of course I believe her. How could I not experiencing what I experienced? I mean, he even told me he's going to make it so no other man wants me. While he was raping me he was saying that and she said several times he told her he was going to make other guys not want her. It must be a weird thing of his, I don't know. But, like I said, I don't want to get into too much of the case because I have to protect the integrity of my lawsuits.
Speaker 1:Okay, okay, well, listen you know I appreciate For those that may not have been able to hear that clearly she said that he graped her and while he was graping her he told her that he's going to make sure that no other dude wants her, and kind of like something I said yesterday. I think it was yesterday or the day before. I'm losing track with the days on this Shannon Sharpe story. I hope this is not the case. But what I said was sometimes it's a fine like guys or people don't understand, it's a fine line. You can have sex with a woman a thousand times and on a thousand and one. It could be right before you about to put it in. If she says no and you go forward anyway. That's not consensual sex. Grape is what we call it, and I hope that's not the case. I'm not wishing that be the case, but that is what these women are alleging. And before they even said that, that was kind of my take on it to you guys that sometimes you know that people don't understand that you know it doesn't matter if you've had sex a million times on a million and one. If you, if she says no and you continue, then that is what the definition of that term is. So I just want you to hear it out of her mouth. I'm not putting words in her mouth. She said it herself. She's in an ongoing lawsuit right now about it. We know that. We know from Shannon Sharp's own lawyer that he offered the new accuser Ten million dollars and she declined. That doesn't look good. Someone said in my inbox that there's almost no reason to decline that if you don't have strong evidence. And my own belief is if $10 million won't do the trick, your ass in serious trouble. $10 million and somebody saying no, you can keep the $10 million, I'm going to proceed with my case. $10 million, a 20-year-old turned down $10 million and this thing is just getting started, which is why I would be surprised if he makes it through the weekend or past Friday or whatever. At ESPN, like I said, this Tasha K interview just came out like in the middle of the night and, like I said, it's subscriber only, so y'all are getting super exclusive this morning on the podcast, and so today is going to be a hot one for shannon sharp. Um stephen a smith has come out and said that the bosses at espn um are looking at this heavily and the rumors uh, he even said that know, he doesn't know. I'm here to tell you that I believe it's definitely, definitely. He's definitely in trouble. I don't see him getting out of that with Disney and ESPN having that Disney situation. More developments Audio messages, text messages have come in, come out where Shannon Sharp said out of his own mouth this is the problem that he's going to have.
Speaker 1:Like, for the people saying this, is somebody trying to tear down him because he's getting this $100 million deal or this or that. See, the problem is he said out his own mouth he was going to choke her and this and that. Now you want to say maybe he was playing, maybe they were, but you're 60 years old talking about choking somebody and you're a famous multimillionaire. That is stupid, stupid we talking about. At worst, what we know to be fact is he told her that he would choke her and he would choke her in public and he even made a joke about it. Say, the headline will be big black. Or he said no, he didn't say the headline, but he just said big black guy chokes white women.
Speaker 1:These are sh Shannon's own words and when you dissect these cases, it's almost like you know DNA, you know how you have DNA and there's a match. Well, if he's loose, if he's loosey-goosey with his words and how he talked to folks, then don't be surprised when people feel like he's loosey goosey with his bedroom activities or how he treats. One thing doesn't necessarily have to do with the other, but one thing does show a a, a lack of discipline or or an entitlement where you feel like you can talk to people any kind of way. And so now, with these accusations coming out and you saying it's a shakedown, but they putting out audio of you saying you would choke her and this and that, and you're damn near 60 and she's 19 or 20. What the hell are we supposed to think? What are we supposed to get out of that? My grandpa ain't talk like that. My grandpa wouldn't run around with no 19, 20-year-olds when he was damn near 60 and I was young. So it all just gives you cause to pause. And I'm going to say again we live in a country where you are innocent until proven guilty. In this particular lawsuit, shannon Sharp has not been proven guilty. In this particular lawsuit, shannon Sharp has not been proven guilty.
Speaker 1:There has just been a lot of damaging evidence that have come out and it just don't look good. And I want to say again to all of those that say she's legal ain't nothing wrong with it. I haven't seen one person post make a post saying that my 19 year old daughter can bring home a 60 year old man and I wouldn't, I wouldn't think twice about it. I've seen people in the comments say she's legal, but I haven't seen anybody stand on 10 toes and make a post about it, because I've seen people in the comments say she's legal, but I haven't seen anybody stand on ten toes and make a post about it, because I'm pretty sure we all know how that post would go. So let's stop with is she legal? Because that's kind of the laziest take that I've heard throughout this whole story. It's just, it's just. It's just, it's just sad.
Speaker 1:And, um, we are going to continue as the Diddy case. As you know, with the Diddy involving Ashton Kutcher and all type of stuff, we don't we don't continue to follow this Shannon Sharp case and, if you remember, before it even heated up, I covered it pretty much. Cover Diddy, because we waiting on the trial and I'll cover some big news that maybe my listeners may send me and say hey, I want you to speak on this, or can you announce a boycott or just whatever we want to talk about? I don't just bring stories just because I think this is going to get a lot of downloads. Let me talk about that. I don't do that. So when I brought the Shannon Sharpe story, it was before it even got heated up. People still was not believing it. But I just have a knack for knowing when a case is about to be a serious case, and this is one of those. So we will be covering this in its entirety, seeing how this plays out. This just being Thursday week, I pretty much can guarantee y'all we're going to get some new explosive information today and we're going to also get some explosive information tomorrow.
Speaker 1:And the thing you have to notice, realize about cases like this and the thing you have to notice, realize about cases like this See, it's kind of like fires. Let's let's compare this to fires on how, on how this happens. Now, you get a fire, you got money and power. Money and power is your water and the fire is your indiscretions. Follow me, I'm making a point. We got small fires and you got a lot of water, which, let's just say, a lot of money, a lot of power. You can crush those little fires that sprinkle here and there and others, and now Shannon Sharp. Sometimes those fires turn into wildfires and when they get the kind of momentum where they turn into wildfires, it ain't enough money and power. Or, to go back to my analogy, it ain't enough water to just put it out that wildfire going to go. Back to my analogy it ain't enough water to just put it out that wildfire going to go. And with all sensitivity, we know the wildfire situation has been terrible. Prayers to the people who have been experiencing that.
Speaker 1:But I'm just making a point as far as how people say you know, you can get away with stuff for a while. I'm not even speaking about Shannon Sharpe, I'm just talking about in general, because people don't understand. They're like well, why did this all of a sudden happen? Now it's just like the diddy case. See, when you're the lone, lone ranger and you're the only one saying it and you got a powerful figure, they can either give you some money, they can shut you down by telling everybody not to mess with you, and you know you got all type of options. So stuff can be quiet forever.
Speaker 1:But when you get that particular case that busts through almost like imagine a bottom coming out and you get that type of case that busts through. Now not only is that case out of control and you can't stop it, it ain't no money. He tried to throw 10 million dollars at it and it got and got declined. So once the bottom comes out, now shannon sharp in this case, or the powerful figure loses their power. So now all those little fires that you put out, they can be reignited. And so that's how you go from seemingly nothing happening or no allegations to you get one that breaks through and gets legs. Now he's so busy trying to fight that one. This person could come out and talk about what they couldn't talk about before. See, if it wasn't for the Gabby girl, the new accusation getting so much legs and her having evidence, if it wasn't for that Tasha Kane interviewing this other Michelle, because without that, who wants to hear this other Michelle talking about Shannon Sharp when everybody is holding Shannon Sharp in such high regard? So what happens is one case busts through and it allows everybody else who may have been silenced or who may have not had the connections to get their story out there or amplified. Well, now they can. So now we have three women that we know of that have these accusations against Shannon Sharp.
Speaker 1:And I'm going to tell you today one thing y'all know about the flow show, no filter. I keep y'all ahead of the news. I read tea leaves very well, there's about to be more. That's just my gut feeling. And I say that because If Shannon Sharp Is sexually undisciplined at 60, 56, right, he's been in the limelight since 1990. If he's telling women he's gonna choke and I'm talking, I'm using this. Whether he was gonna choke him or he was playing does not matter. So to anybody that's feeling like. That's not the point. The point is, if he's loose with his mouth like this and talking to women in this way at 56, what was his behavior at 21, 22, 25, 30 and 21, 22, 25, 30. And what happens is now you have all these cases. Now not only lawyers like Tony Busby, bloggers like Tasha K and everybody else in the podcast universe and YouTube universe and even the mainstream media, mainstream media they are all actively searching for anybody to say that Shannon Sharp did something to them that wasn't right. They see this young lady was offered $10 million, declined it and is going for $50 million. Declined it and is going for $50 million, you think a woman from Shannon Sharpe's Denver Bronco days or Shannon Sharpe's Baltimore Raven days.
Speaker 1:He played in the NFL from 1990 to 2003. In the NFL from 1990 to 2003. And then he went from there to work as a CBS analyst and ended up really losing the CBS job because of accusations and restraining orders. This actual restraining order was put in place from another woman who happened to be named Michelle. Restraining orders it's actually a restraining order was put in place for from another woman who happened to be named Michelle, but I think he they said that her name is Shelly. It's spelled like Michelle with one L, so it's a little confusing. Is her name Michelle or Shelly? But either way, she filed a restraining order which ended up being dismissed down the line. But he lost the CBS job because of that. Then he went from CBS to Undisputed, working on Fox Sports and now, for the time being, espn.
Speaker 1:First take I'm giving you all of that context to say this is just me thinking and speaking. I am nervous because I look at somebody carrying on in this way. As a 56 year old man. He's pretty much been in the limelight since his early 20s. Can you imagine and I'm talking about whether they're true or not. Just being a super duper freak can come back to bite you and that's why I'm reiterating this episode isn't about guilt or innocence. That's the court. We got court, uh court, and judges and lawyers and and all types of people that are going to figure that out. That's not my job. My job is to give you the evidence that I come across and give you my opinion on it. So I'm not here to say he did it or he didn't do it, because it doesn't even matter this.
Speaker 1:The facts that we do know. Like he factually told her he would choke her, um, he admitted himself that he pulled up to her um, to go have, you know, sex with her, and that's when they made this tape that shannon sharp said out of his mouth I'm not speculating, I'm using shannon sharp's own words to tell this story shannon sharp said that tony busby has a tape that should be 10 minutes long, but there's 30 seconds on that tape that Shannon Sharp says Tony Busby is going to use this is a sex tape. There's 30 seconds on that tape that he's going to use To Sync Shannon Sharp Now, shannon Sharp, now let me give you an idea of what's. You've heard all the nasty text messages. You've heard all the text messages that Shannon has shared. This ain't speculation, bdsm type stuff. You know that, just X video type stuff.
Speaker 1:Choking has been a theme and I believe her saying she wanted to be tied up. I think Shannon Sharp put that out because he knows what's on that tape. And what do you think? I'm asking everybody, everybody in the chat, I'm asking everybody listening what do you think is in that 30 seconds that is so damaging and powerful, so damaging and powerful that this accuser turned down $10 million from Shannon Sharp to Hush. I'm going to say it again For the people who think this is just. You know you're not for the people that put no accountability on Shannon Sharp at all. I'm asking you I'm only talking to you right now what do you think is on that tape for that 30 seconds that is so bad, that Shannon Sharp first of all offered $10 million. $10 million is a lot of money for anybody. What do you think is on there if he offered $10 million and actually the lawyer said tens of million, but we're going to just say $10 million and she declined and said no, I want to go forward.
Speaker 1:So to all everybody out there, acting like this ain't nothing or it's just somebody just making up stuff. What I will say is easy for you to say, because I guarantee you this guy behind me if you're watching me, shannon I guarantee he knows it's something. And so I'm always amazed at the people on the sideline that say stuff like this is nothing, this is just somebody just lying and making it like it's just ho-hum. And I always say it's easy for you to say that because you're not in a position, you're not Shannon, or you're not the accuser who's saying that these crazy things happen to. And I always tell y'all one thing about me that that is, uh, different than a lot of people. What I am good at is putting myself in everyone's shoes. That's how I attack these stories. I put myself in shannon's shoes and I look at it from his perspective. And then I put myself in the accuser's shoes and look at it from their perspective. And when I do that, one thing I can tell y'all is this is something, this is not nothing. How much of something is what? We're going to find out. How far did it really go? We're going to find out.
Speaker 1:But when you offer $10 million and a person says no one goes forward and you've admittedly said they got a sex tape and you're saying let's put out the whole 10 minutes and they say we got 30 seconds, that'll rock your world. Saying let's put out the whole 10 minutes and they say we got 30 seconds, that'll rock your world. Trust me, something went on and it could have been. It could be 100% true. It could be partially some type of setup. There's so many different options.
Speaker 1:But when you put yourself in a position and you're a grown man almost 60, and you're dealing with a 20 and 19-year-old, you got to know there's a huge chance something can go wrong. Something can go wrong. Like I said, shannon's own words are killing him. It ain't me, it ain't the media. Like I said, shannon's own words are killing them. It ain't me, it ain't the media, it's his own words and his own actions. We don't even have to go. It is.
Speaker 1:This is so trifling that we don't have to even go to the length of saying he did this to her or he didn't do this to her. We don't have to go that far. We can go at, we can start at the part where you are damn near 60 years old talking to a 19, 20 year old talking about. You'll choke them and do this and that that's a problem. How big of a problem we will find out.
Speaker 1:But your credibility goes to shit when the public me, you sit here. We have daughters. My best friend had a lot of daughters I'm sure people listening to this has daughters 19, 18, 20. And I don't give a fuck what the situation is. You would lose your shit if you heard a 60 year old man telling your 19 year old he's gonna choke her. I don't give a rat's ass what the backstory is and that's what we're dealing with here. See, I'm just glad while people are trying to just, you know, not hold Shannon. I'm not like I said. I keep saying we don't have to go as far as saying he did it or not. Let the court decide that, let more evidence come out.
Speaker 1:But if you don't think Shannon Sharp is to be held accountable for this or that shannon sharp is to blame as far as putting himself in a position where a 56 year old should not be, then you part of the problem. And see, I'm fortunate that I I was raised by a father who always made me hold myself accountable. He, he would never. I could never tell my dad. Hey, they're doing this dad to me because I'm this or I'm that, or because I'm black, or because this or because that, my dad would say, no, you put yourself in that position and he raised me like that from a little boy. I remember being young and wanting my dad to be on my side and wanting sympathy, but it was always I was accountable for my actions. That put me there and it hurt when I was a kid and as a kid, that's why you kind of be closer to your mother, because your mother going to nurture you, your mother going to believe you, your mother, you know that's a mother's nature. But a father has a different role. Father, teach you as a man to be accountable for the actions that put you there. See, I'm not going to be talking about this is happening because it's a shakedown. These are Shannon's own words. It's not. It didn't happen because of shakedown. It happened because a 60 year old man is running around with a 19 year old when he should be married, or with one woman and riding off into the sunset sunset Another thing that everybody is pointing out that I pointed out when the story first, when he first put her name out there, she came out as a Jane Doe, he immediately named her.
Speaker 1:I was the first person to say that don't look good for Shannon. And say that don't look good for Shannon. And then last night, this other accuser from back in 2000, that dated him from 2000, in 2010 or whatever, she said the same thing, and I said it a few days ago. She said that is how he is. He is a revenge person. He will put your name out there. He will tell everybody, whatever, whatever and he did it. So to everybody that don't understand the gravity of the situation, these moves Shannon doesn't even realize it. They make them look worse.
Speaker 1:You didn't have to put her name out there. Her name would have probably came out on his own at some point, the way everybody dig and dig and dig. But for you to put her name out there and put her text messages out there, you think you, I understand defending yourself, defend yourself, I would defend myself. But if you defend yourself in a fucked up way, then I'm gonna call it out and that's not a good defense. Defend yourself, shannon, but but coming out and putting out her text messages and putting her name out immediately didn't do anything but make you look unhinged. So again. This ain't easy to do.
Speaker 1:I've been a shannon sharp fan since back in the 90s. This ain't easy to do. I've been a Shannon Sharp fan since back in the 90s. I'm a football head. I love the NFL. I love sports in general. I remember Shannon Sharp. I remember where I was when him and John Elway and Terrell Davis won that championship. I was at my dad's house in Maple Heights on a street called Stockton back in the early nineties. So I'm not up here just saying shit, just to say shit. I'm just doing my job.
Speaker 1:Like I said, on top of all this evidence on top I guess I don't have to worry about if he they're gonna decide what he did. I am disappointed in the facts. I'm disappointed that he running around at that age with a 1920 year old. I'm disappointed that he's sitting up on the phone and talking about choking and this and that and I'm going to choke you in public and hey, it's going to be a big black dude chokes white women, what the fuck it's like. To me that's just Way too far and I would never had thought he would be carrying on like that at this age when he did his address, when he, when he meant to make make his apology.
Speaker 1:Uh, when all this stuff came out and shannon sharp made his apology, and in the first five seconds he says this uh, this, this, this case is brought up by tony busby and tony busby tried to do this to jay-z. And then now you dropping jay-z name, I'm telling y'all, if you pay attention, shannon needs help, man. He don't need people talking about this and shakedown, and he didn't do nothing wrong and she legal. This brother needs some help. He needs some people around him to tell him the same type of shit that he always tries to tell Chad Ocho on the show Nightcap. The same type of shit that he always tries to tell Chad Ocho on the show Nightcap. Y'all should have seen the Nightcap episode with him and Ocho. I think it was last night or the night before. If you don't know the show, I'm going to give you a little context Ocho Cinco. Chad Ocho Cinco played on the Cincinnati Bengals. Hell of a wide receiver in his own right Should be a Hall of Famer, in my opinion. He is a lot of time the whooping stick for Shannon on that show.
Speaker 1:Shannon and anybody that watches the show knows that, and even people in the comments say like damn, shannon lay off. Like there was an episode where Chad was a little bit late and he had car trouble and all type of stuff and Shannon came down on him talking about he messing up the money, he unprofessional, he, this, he, that, um, shannon Chad Ocho Cinco has to be on pins and needles if he says damn, he has to apologize every single time. Like and you can say damn on YouTube and and it's just been like. You know it was kind of a turnoff but people didn't go too far about it. But if you watch the show you'll know that a lot of us be in the comments like, damn, shannon lay off of Chad a little bit. Well, funny how the tables turn. So I watched it yesterday and of course Shannon Sharp was trying to be regular and, um, no, it was yesterday or day before yesterday, last night. Um, you know, shannon sharp was trying to be regular and and you could tell he was forcing a smile and the elephant in the room is the accusations and everybody was in the comments saying see, all this time you've been talking shit about Chad and embarrassing him and just berating him in a way that I wouldn't do my friend like that live on YouTube with hundreds of thousands of people watching him. But yesterday Ocho Cinco was saying damn, quite a few times. He never apologized. He like screw it, not in a bad way.
Speaker 1:But the real point I want to make is you could tell on that show that Shannon Sharp needs Ocho Cinco more than ever. Where just last week Ocho Cinco needed Shannon and Shannon did too much in my opinion. Me and my friend talk all the time Some of that stuff Shannon said to him on live. See, I would have dogged the shit out of Shannon on live so we might not have no show, no more. You ain't going to talk to me like that.
Speaker 1:But Chad held the show down and at the end of the day Chad Ochoacinco is smelling like and looking like roses and everybody in the comments was saying Chad Ochoacinco is a true friend. Because now you can tell Shannon Sharp needs him, like he needs a hole in his head and and Chad is there for him and holding the showdown. But it just goes to show you what goes around, comes around and you can't get so caught up in your power trip that you are embarrassing and dogging out people who mean who are there for you. Now he sees. Now I'm sure he feels guilty about all the time that he told Chad he's unprofessional, he's messing up the money. He needs to be more like him. And Shannon Sharp would go so far as to say you know, I'm so careful that if I'm on an elevator and a woman gets on the elevator, I get off.
Speaker 1:This is shannon sharp talking. He was, when you say somebody on a high horse, he was on his high fucking horse. Everything he did was perfect. He smashed the sign watson. He smashed every football player, basketball player that ever had something. Shannon shark would make it seem like he's the best thing since sliced bread, and this other person needs to learn from him. And now this shit comes out.
Speaker 1:So I'm just preparing y'all, y'all getting an early jump on what's going on. I'm just preparing y'all for today and tomorrow. There's gonna be a lot of shit coming out and this story that I did, that I the interview and everything I broke down today. This dropped late last night and it's subscriber only, so you'll probably throughout this day will be the first time you hear people talking about it here on the morning with the Breakfast Crew, you heard it here first. So, like I said, it's a tough one. Y'all. I'm going to continue to cover it.
Speaker 1:As far as Diddy News, there was no new Diddy news at all. I believe Shannon Sharp is dominating the media, so you know media attention right now so much, they haven't even leaked any Diddy information. But there is supposed to be a hearing this week. So I don't know if it's today or tomorrow because they haven't really put any information out about it. But I will be watching it closely. I'm pretty sure I'll have a Diddy update for you guys tomorrow and I'm sure I'll have a Shannon Sharp update for you tomorrow. But I appreciate y'all for listening. But before we get out of here, just to let y'all know this was one of my toughest episodes.
Speaker 1:I don't have to go into how much of a fan I am of his and just the inspiration that he has given me in the podcast space. I was a little kid. I grew up. I was a grown-ass 40-year-old at 7 years old, which is why I remember all this old-ass news and all these old-ass sports and stuff, because I was watching this shit at 5, at seven years old. Which is why I remember all this old ass news and all these old ass sports and stuff, cause I was watching this shit at five, six years old, like it was, like my life depended on it, but I never would have knew what. It came in handy when I got older, when I'm covering these cases and I know not only can I just report but I can also recall a lot of podcasts. There's a lot of YouTubers that can't recall like I can also recall a lot of podcasts, a lot of YouTubers they can't recall like I can, because I go back all the way to. I was five years old.
Speaker 1:I was always into current events and and paying attention to details, and so I just want to be an inspiration to people to do what you got to do and be strong and believe it or not, y'all, I was basically a mute and I want to share this before I get out of here. I was basically a mute when I went to kindergarten. When I was in kindergarten for the whole first half of the school year I didn't say shit to anybody, but I did all my work. But it was so bad that the teacher had to call a meeting in to my mom. My mom was emotional about it because the teacher told my mom. She said I don't think anything's wrong with him, but he will not talk at all, but he does all his work. I didn't say shit. Yall I was.
Speaker 1:I was the type of person I only talked to my mother and my father and my family. I didn't talk to people at all. I was a mute, basically, um, and as time my mom would introduce me to friends, I was that kid that you had to introduce to friends to play because I would never talk to anybody. And so, as time went on, as years went on, I worked through it. I worked through it and you know, at 14 years old I started working. That kind of opened me up more and you know, as years went on, I just worked through it. I just worked through it because I had so much talent in me and so much to say, but I was just deer in the headlights. I just, if I didn't know you, I just would not talk. So I say all that to say I just want to be an inspiration to everybody that don't let anything stop you, because I was a mute and here I am one of the top podcasters, youtubers, influencer, talking to hundreds of thousands of people every day. And so if I can go from being a mute and I'm talking about one day I'm gonna have my mom interview so she can tell the story even better. I'm not exaggerating when I said I didn't talk at all in school. I wouldn't say anything to anybody. If I can go from that and work through it and work through it and be the person I am today to be able to talk to hundreds of thousands of people about my deepest, darkest secrets, about tough, uncomfortable conversations, and do this as a living and actually flourish and in four or five months, become one of the top five percent downloaded podcast of all time on Apple and Spotify Independent. I ain't even did a fuck. I haven't even interviewed anybody. I'm breaking records With just me Talking to my community and laying it all on the line for y'all.
Speaker 1:Someone who started out as a mute that was so quiet that my mother had to introduce me to friends, and when she would introduce me we would get along, but I would never do it on my own. In fact, darnell, who I always talk about, we met at I was four years old. He was five. My Auntie, janice, introduced us and I'm going to get out of here real quick and just tell you that before we get out of here, and so I would always go over to their house. It was a two-family house. My auntie, janice, stayed upstairs and Darnell and his family stayed downstairs. So I would always come over and she would say, hey, there's some boys downstairs you can meet and play with. I would never do it because I didn't talk to people. I would just stay upstairs. I was always fine in my own world. I would play with my own toys for seven, eight hours. I didn't need nobody. I was born like that.
Speaker 1:And so one day I remember, like it was yesterday she stopped telling me that they were down there. She said Book, that's what my family called me Book, come on downstairs and meet these boys. And they're twins, because Darnell has a twin named Arnell. And so Janice took me down there, took me downstairs in the basement they were playing with their toys and she said Book, this is Arnell and Darnell, arnell and Darnell, this is Book Left me down there. I was so paranoid because I didn't know these boys and she left me down there in the basement and pretty much 40 years later, me and Darnell are about as close as two friends could be. So, like I said, don't let nothing stop y'all. Nothing can stop y'all. If I can go from being a shy mute that damn near they thought had a problem to talking in front of all of y'all. Y'all can do anything. I appreciate y'all getting through this tough episode with me. Nothing else I could say but uh, bye. As always, I love y'all but I'm out.
