A $100 million defamation lawsuit sounds like a power move until a judge says “dismissed.” We break down the ruling that tossed Sean “Diddy” Combs’ case against NBC and Peacock over a documentary tied to his career and sexual assault allegations, including what the court highlights about context, interviewee bias, counterstatements, and why “reputational harm” is not as easy to prove as the internet thinks.

Then the tone shifts fast. We dig into the Los Angeles murder case involving David Anthony Burke, better known as the singer David, and the death of 14-year-old Celeste Rivas Hernandez. Prosecutors allege a chain of crimes that includes murder, continuous sexual abuse of a child, and corpse mutilation, plus a claim that a significant amount of child sexual abuse material was found through search warrants tied to a phone and iCloud account. It’s heavy, and we talk through what’s being said publicly while keeping our focus on process and evidence.

We also unpack the nuts and bolts people miss: what a preliminary hearing can expose, why defense strategy around timing is risky, and what it means when the state references massive digital evidence, wiretaps, and investigative grand jury transcripts that may be unsealed. If you follow true crime and celebrity legal news, this is the roadmap for what to watch next, not just what’s trending today.

Let's put this all in the chat. Let me put the link in the chat for those to donate that want to donate. Let's put this all in the chat. How's everybody else feeling before we get started?

Diddy’s Lawsuit Gets Dismissed

SPEAKER_02

This is amazing. Amazing what we got in the news today.

Kim Porter Claims And Gene Deal

SPEAKER_05

So, diddy, y'all remember that hundred million dollar lawsuit that diddy had? I'm sure some of y'all do. He was suing for people covering the trial, I mean covering his his story, and he said people were lying. Okay, y'all, before we get started, everybody show Tracy some love for the$50 donation,$49.99. We had$75. She said, keeping it live alive. Everybody show Tracy some love. We are only$75 away. Thank you so much, Tracy. I appreciate your contribution to keep this live alive. Uh, and I always got to make sure y'all know that's the live. The regular audio podcast that's on Apple and Spotify will always be the same. Always do this. I will always have four or five episodes a week. So my Apple and Spotify listeners, this isn't you. This is the live$250 a week goal for me to come up here on live uh every day, Monday through Friday. But uh thank you so much, Tracy, and everybody show Tracy some love in the Chinnad Diddy$100 million Diddy. Judge tossed it out. Uh let's go to uh Forbes. Let's go to the article. Did I get your thoughts? Okay, Lazy Baby, as we get into this article, Lazy Baby just did a$15 donation. That puts us at y'all making me do some math.$60 remaining.$60 remaining. Everybody show Lazy Baby. Some some some uh some love. She said, I'm a woman of my word, back with another donation. Thank you for your dedication, flow.$15. Thank you so much, Lazy Baby, and show Lazy Baby some love along with Tracy in the chat, keeping this live alive. We only$60 away.$60 away, y'all, from our$250 goal. So this comes from Forbes. Judge dismisses Sean Diddy Combs$100 million defamation lawsuit against NBC against NBC. What's going on, Angelique? So a New York judge dismissed rapper Sean Diddy Combs'$100 million defamation lawsuit against NBC over a documentary it aired last year about his career and sexual assault allegations on Peacock. This documentary, which Combs had allegedly, shamelessly alleged shamelessly advances and endorses conspiracy theories that he is a serial killer. So Diddy was upset with the people that made the documentary. He said it make him look, it made him look like a serial killer and advanced and endorsed conspiracy theories that he would that he unalived people. Well, Diddy. All it did was explain stuff or put out stuff that people have been saying. If it walks like a duck, quacks like a duck, it ain't a fucking saber-toothed tiger. Right? Diddy's story is so crazy, just telling his story causes him to want to sue you for defamation. We just telling your story. Or that's NBC the documentary. That's all they did. So why did Comb sue NBC? Comb sued NBC and Peacock in February 2025, accusing the companies of releasing a documentary that spread conspiracy theories about him, including serial murder, sexual assault, and trafficking of underage people. And extortion. To put it all out there. Knowing that there is not a shred of evidence to support them, this is what Combs said. Comb's complaint accused NBC and Peacock of racing to outdo the competition for the most salacious Diddy Expose, leading them to completely disregard sound journalistic practices. Am I supposed to say allegedly? Porter died of pneumonia in 2018. And the documentary includes an image of her autopsy report. Combs' complaint also says that the documentary includes an interview with Gene Deal. Now, before we get to that, let me just say something, man. And this is me speculating. I have no proof, no more proof than anybody else has. But I strongly believe that Kim Porter was unalive, y'all. I just, it's very, very hard for me to believe that she was just um, it's very hard for me to believe that she was perfectly fine. And then it just so happened she was about to put out a tell-off book about her life with Diddy. And then she gets this strange pneumonia that it almost seems like only celebrities get. So, Diddy. This just looks bad, man. Uh, it's hard to believe all of this, just a coincidence. Diddy ain't gonna say, Diddy, come try to sue me for 100 million. See how much you get. Diddy gonna sue me for my$250 weekly goal this week. So, Denny complained about Gene Deal, his former bodyguard, who suggested Combs could have had something to do with the 99, 1999, 1997 murder of the notorious BIG, Combs said in a suit. Says he was heartbroken by the deaths of Porter and notorious B.I.G. And completely unfounded accusation that he murdered multiple of his closest confidants is deeply distressing, offensive, reckless, and malicious. But one thing, okay, so let's touch on this. One thing I can say about Gene Deal, he has told a lot of secrets, but he ain't been sued yet. Gene Deal has not been sued for defamation. If he's lying about all this shit, why hasn't he been sued yet? Somebody answer that question for me. Why hasn't he been sued for defamation? Gene Deal has spilled beans on all kind of people. Yet nothing has happened to him. That's what I wonder.

SPEAKER_02

And so you see why this lawsuit got tossed out now.

SPEAKER_05

Jane Dills believes Diddy has something to do with the big Biggie's death and Kim Porter's death. So now we gotta get into why was Sean Diddy Mohawk head combs, why was his lawsuit dismissed? Let me count the ways. Perry Bond's order granting dismissal said Combs' lawsuit failed to establish a substantial basis regarding reputational harm. Noting the documentary was carefully curated and nuanced because it discloses interviewees' biases and includes counterstatements to the allegedly defamatory statements, she noted. The inclusion of Porter's autopsy report, which rebuffs claims that she was murdered, as well as statement from her family, which said there was no foul play in her death. Basically, the documentary gave both sides of the coin. But the documentary also followed up with factual evidence that she wasn't unalive.

SPEAKER_02

And so because of that, Diddy had no case.

Michael Jackson Movie Side Talk

SPEAKER_05

No more. Uh-uh. And a reminder, y'all, we are$60 away to keep this live alive.$60 away, so we can make sure this live is back live for everybody Monday at 8 30 a.m.$60 away. Here's the link right here. Buy me a coffee, or you can do it like Tracy and just put it in the super chat. Either way, we got$60. We need to get to. So if somebody out there can help us get towards that goal, please, please, please. And thank you. Now done with Diddy. Unless y'all have something in the comments. Any questions or comments on this Diddy mess? Tracy says, documentaries. I went and saw Michael last night. I missed the show yesterday, so I didn't get to hear the gossip about it. I will say I learned a lot, but it also missed a lot. Um, uh, Tracy, do you know they uh they're working on they're already in works for a part two? They said Michael Jackson's story is so it's so much to it that you can, it's impossible to put it in one movie. So they are already working on the seek uh a part two. So I'm glad you got a chance to see it and gave us an honest opinion about what you saw. Uh, but I don't know if you know it, but I just they just I saw the announcement yesterday that they're working on a part two. Everybody shout out, black roses for$10 super chat, super sticker, keeping it alive. Love my flow show fan. Prayers for everyone who lost someone. Rest in peace, Ashley Janae, Celeste Revis, and Uncle D. Thank you for that, Black Roses. We are$50 away from our goal and black roses. Everybody show Black Roses some love for keeping this live alive.

SPEAKER_02

Keep it alive.

SPEAKER_05

Keep live alive. Okay, it said it, it said it screen at the end. Okay. Tracy says, Black roses, I like it. Uh Desi, did Desi, I don't know, did Desi, did you know uh C Tuck was dealing with the death of his close uncle, one of the closest brothers to his mother? So I'm sure they're doing funeral arrangements. I know it's a lot going on this week. So I'm sure C Tuck is handling that, Desi. Um, I don't know if you saw the show when we spoke, when C Tuck spoke about that, but I'm sure he uh it's a lot going on with his uncle's death this week. So that's where C Tuck is. Yeah, uh side note, before we get into this Davis shit, the Michael Jackson uh documentary, Drace, they said Janet Jackson uh declined to be in it in any kind of way. Which that's that that's that's kind of sad because it's hard to tell the story of the Jacksons without of Michael Jackson without having his sister in it. But yeah, they said she respectfully declined to even be in it. I don't know why. I didn't get any reason, but it is what it is. He definitely uh had Michael Jackson's voice down.

SPEAKER_02

Black Roses to the rescue.

SPEAKER_05

He got it, he got Michael Jackson's voice down. It's crazy how much he sound he he he killed that part of it. I did not know he would be able to talk like Mike like that. That is crazy. I can't believe how much he got his voice down, Pat.

SPEAKER_02

But uh, what about this David character?

SPEAKER_05

As we are fifty dollars away from our goal, let's get into this David situation. This David case is going to be one for the ages. This David case, I don't know what to say. Well, let's start off with just playing my video that I made yesterday. Wait, so you're telling me about video? So not only did David chop Celeste Body up, but you're telling me they found wait, so you're telling me, so not only did David chop Celeste Body up, but you're telling me they found some crazy movies in his phone. I think you can guess what movies I'm talking about, but check this out. Y'all gonna hit the floor when you hear about those movies. But we already know that he was having an unappropriate relationship with Celeste sexually. And because he threatened to expose him and devastate his musical career, he combined it to his Hollywood field home on April 23rd, 2025. We get to the movies in a minute. When he got her to his home, he used a sharp instrument and basically cut arms, legs, and two fingers everything. But now those movies. He had tons of child corn in his phone. His ass is grass, and I like it, but damn, this is crazy. What if I told you? So that's David. Not only are we finding out that there are more victims, but the prosecutors have alleged that they have found a shit ton of child cornography in David's phone. Can y'all David is cooked?

SPEAKER_02

David is cooked.

SPEAKER_05

I'm telling y'all, child adult movies, let's just call them child child uh adult movies or whatever. I don't want to say the word. This dude is disturbed, like Desi said.

SPEAKER_02

This is a disturbed cat. Good morning, Sharon. How are you feeling today? On this Friday. This Friday.

SPEAKER_05

No, I definitely don't believe he did this by himself, ladies. Not at all. Not for a second, am I gonna believe that? Not for a second.

SPEAKER_02

Not for a second.

SPEAKER_05

Oh man, fifty dollars away. Who got a fifty dollar super chat to save this live today, y'all? Y'all got me sweating bullets. Or you could donate it right here. Save this live, keep this live alive. We 30 minutes left in the show. But I definitely don't believe David did this by himself for sure. I don't think he he's a coward. He is a coward, so he wouldn't even have the balls to do this by himself. But to think that he's running around with a lot of child pornography in his phone and then cutting bodies up, there's no telling what type of evidence this this DA, this uh, there's no telling. There's no telling. There's no telling what's coming up in this case. Shout out Tracy White. She said, come on, y'all. If we all donate three to five dollars, we'll be there. We got enough people to come in here for everybody to donate two or three, two, three, four, five dollars, and we'll get our goal in seconds. So come on, y'all, keep this live alive. I want to come back Monday morning, bright and early, 8 30, and discuss this stuff with y'all. But we gotta we we gotta we both gotta play our part. We need we need to reach our goals. I appreciate everyone who has donated. Um, and let's continue to donate.$50,$50, y'all. Uh David.

SPEAKER_02

David is something else.

SPEAKER_05

But with a lot, I do notice one thing. I do notice that there were a lot of people trying to say that David was gonna beat this case and they didn't have enough evidence. Well, those people are starting to be far, few and far in between. There are not many people now start, people are starting to understand that uh David's ass is in trouble. It's too many dots. The dots are connecting too much. The dots are connecting too much. I don't see any kind of way, any plausible way that David gets out of this mess. They got too much evidence, and I'm telling y'all, he did not do this by himself, and I'm sure people are telling on him. Okay, y'all. Big Big Rail come through with the$9.99. We're gonna write, we're gonna round that to ten dollars. We are forty dollars away. Thank you, Big Rail, for keeping this live alive. Everybody shout out Big Rail. Big Rail in the building. Everybody shout out Big Rail. Now we're only four forty dollars away. Forty dollars away. Tracy says, Heck yes, big R. Desi says, What up, Big Rail? Black Rosa said, Thank you, Big Rail. Sharon says, David reminds of Blue, reminds her of Blue. Blue cut his ex-girlfriend up after they watched Dexter, left her in an empty house. Blue was a dancer a few years back. I don't remember that story, but it sounds horrific.

SPEAKER_02

It sounds horrific.

SPEAKER_05

We definitely, definitely, David. I'm telling y'all, this gonna be the sickest case. Just think about this. He he amputated her fingers, chopped her body. Man, what the f what type of sick world do we live in? I just can't get, I can't wrap my mind around this shit.

SPEAKER_02

I can't. Makes no sense.

SPEAKER_05

It just doesn't make any sense, man. Oh, it was on dateline. Okay, I gotta check it out. I I watch a lot of dateline. I missed that one. I might have to check that one out, um, Sharon. But y'all know I watch my datelines for sure.

SPEAKER_02

Y'all know I'ma watch my datelines. This dude got problems. Like, seriously.

SPEAKER_05

Lazy Baby came through with another five dollar. Five dollar holler. We thirty-five dollars away.

SPEAKER_02

Come on, y'all. Thank you, everybody.

SPEAKER_05

Shout out Lazy Baby for coming with another five dollars. We are thirty-five dollars away from our gold. Thirty-five dollars away from the goal. Everybody shout out lazy baby coming through.

SPEAKER_02

Lazy coming through.

SPEAKER_02

We'll see. Tasha said, does double meat come in come with that?

Prosecutors Detail Digital Evidence

SPEAKER_05

I don't know. I haven't even heard about the Chipotle. Uh I haven't even heard about the deal. But uh, I guess let's get back to this dismemberment. Let me pull this article about the child corn, man. It's this this is this is trigger warning. And we$35 away from our goal, y'all. As I get into this article, if everybody gave one dollar, we'd be at our goal right now. If everybody gave one dollar, we'd pretty much be at our goal right now. Think about that. Everybody has one dollar. Uh, let's see. David's cell phone contained. This is from the Los Angeles Times. No, I don't know. Los Angeles Times tried to charge for that shit. Los Angeles Times, David's cell phone contained child pornography. Prosecutor in LA murder case says. A prosecutor said Thursday that the police discovered a significant amount of child cornography during a search of a cell phone belonging to David Anthony Burke. Better known as the singer David. Burke is charged with murder, of course, and sexual abuse of a child and corpse mutilation and the death of 14-year-old Celeste Rivas Hernandez. A preliminary hearing in which prosecutors will make much of their evidence. Uh Burke public will make it public, is May 1st. Now, now, a cell phone belonging to David Anthony Burke, better known as David, contained a significant amount of child, unappropriate child movies. How about that? Los Angeles County Deputy District Beth Silverman made the claim during a court proceeding to schedule a preliminary hearing on murder charges and the killing of 14-year-old Celeste Rivas Hernandez. The images were uncovered as part of a broad series of search warrants executed on Burke's phone and iCloud account. Burke's attorneys have insisted he is innocent and are demanding the preliminary hearing to begin next week, meaning evidence in this closely followed case could become public as soon as May 1st. He appeared in court Thursday in an orange jumpsuit and walked into the court with his hands in his pockets. A status hearing was set for April 29th. Silverman and the district attorney's office spokesperson declined to comment outside the courtroom. The singer's attorney, Blair Burke, also declined to comment. The DA's office spokesperson declined to say if the child sex abuse material allegedly found on Burke's phone was related to Hernandez or another victim. Of course, we know Burke was arrested by Los Angeles police last week and charged Monday with murder, continuous sexual abuse of a child, and course mutilation. According to a criminal complaint, he has pleaded not guilty. Defendants have a right to have a preliminary hearing in which a judge determines whether prosecutors have enough evidence to bring a case to trial within 10 business days. But Burke's push to move quickly is unorthodox. She has publicly grilled Silverman about needing access to more discovery materials and the medical examiner's report detailing how Hernandez died was not made public until Wednesday. Joshua Ritter, a former LA County prosecutor, said Burke was playing a hell of a game of chicken, but she may be aiming to pressure test the prosecution's case. The defense might want to put the DA on their heels if they feel for some reason there was a rush to make an arrest, but his case is nearly the opposite of that, he said. They had more than adequate time. This does not mean like a situation where the DA had a hasty decision to file. Silverman said police amassed 40 terabytes of digital evidence in the case, which has made uploading and transmitting materials to the defense difficult. Silverman also said police had conducted a wiretap operation in the case, but did not disclose the nature of it. The veteran prosecutor said even she had not received anything related to that operation. So they got wiretaps. They got wiretaps, y'all. We don't know what's on those wiretaps. But they probably got some heavy shit on there. She also confirmed prosecutor convened. Prosecutors convened three secret grand jury hearings after Hernandez's death, two in November and December in 2025, and one in February. Those were investigative grand jury hearings, meaning prosecutors could use them to enshrine testimony against Burke, but could not use the proceedings to secure an indictment against Burke. Transcripts from all three hearings were also need to be unsealed. LA County Superior Court Judge Charlene Omedu. Omito Omido Omito. What is this guy's name? Omito also warned Burke that if she does push, if she does push for the immediate preliminary hearing, she may not have access to the entire evidence before May 1st. Ritter also mused that Burke could be pushing his attorneys to fight the case without delay. Beyond that, he said the approach makes no sense. The defense is seven months behind the eight-ball on this. They not only have the grand jury transcripts to catch up on, but who knows what kind of digital forensics and wiretacts and everything else he said is going on. I'm gonna stop right there, y'all. Let me put the link in there. We're getting close to the end of the show. We are$35 away from our goal. If we don't reach our goal, sad to say we won't be back here on Monday morning, live for everybody. Um everybody involved knows that that is uh the situation we're we're we are in right now. Uh let me put the link up here one more time. Where is let me let me I gotta find the leak. This article, they on David's ass, y'all. I'm telling you. They are on David's ass. Anybody that's thinking he's getting away with this, you ain't paying attention, you're not reading the room. They got even more evidence than they're even telling us. As you can see, they just not letting the evidence leak out. And they trying to hold back the evidence as much as they can.

SPEAKER_02

Let's see.

I'm definitely gonna be sad if I have to wake up Monday, Monday, and and and the live show has been discontinued. That would be a a sad, sad moment in history. For thirty-five dollars. If everybody in the chat right now gave two dollars, we have our goal. Who's gonna save the show? At the last second. I do see something coming through. Come on, y'all, save the show. Thirty-five dollars. I can't wait to see the Michael Jackson movie later on today. I'm about to moonwalk my ass all the way to the theater from the house. Yeah, yeah. You stuck in the middle, yeah, yeah. And it means, yeah, yeah. Too high to get over, yeah, yeah. Too low to get under. Yeah, yeah. You stuck in the middle. You're a vegetable. SPEAKER_02

SPEAKER_04

So you got to be starting something too high to get over. Too low to get under. You're stuck in the middle.

SPEAKER_02

Man, I'm pumped. I can't wait to see that.
