A Sudden Family Health Scare Changes How I See Life
Use Left/Right to seek, Home/End to jump to start or end. Hold shift to jump forward or backward.
Life doesn’t warn you before it changes. One day everything feels normal, and the next you’re hearing the word “hospice” and trying to make sense of how a minor fall turns into a major turning point. We start with a real update about my grandfather and why it instantly brings me back to my granny, the kind of steady love that could criticize you and still make you feel safe. If you’ve been carrying grief, fear about aging, or that quiet regret of not saying enough while you had time, this opening is for you.
Then we pivot into the biggest stories driving the timeline. Christina Corum, known as Diddy’s longtime chief of staff, scores another legal win as claims against her get tossed, and we talk through why that result leaves so many people asking how accountability works when power is involved. From there it’s Madison Square Garden mayhem: Trump shows up to the Knicks Finals game, gets booed, security goes into overdrive, and the Knicks take a brutal loss that fans instantly turn into a curse narrative.
We close with Floyd Mayweather’s $175 million lawsuit and the flood of receipts from Jonah Recknitz that flips the story into a conversation about cash flow, high spending, pawn loans against jewelry, and how even huge earnings can disappear when the lifestyle never slows down. If you care about celebrity lawsuits, sports business, financial literacy, and the real-life emotions behind the headlines, you’ll get both perspective and plenty to debate. Today’s Headlines And Hard News
SPEAKER_04All right, as everybody come on in, come on in. The gang is all here, and those that are not here are still coming in. Shout out to Elise, shout out to Island Girl, Tracy, Grandma Kathy, uh, everybody, man. This has been a uh got a lot to talk about. Um, first of all, Christina Korm, the one y'all all been talking about, is back in the news, and apparently she has got another victory for Diddy and her. I don't know what type of connections Christina Corb, aka K K has, but she is able to get, she is able to avoid accountability at all costs. Um what else we got? We got Floyd Mayweather. His he's another one who has been in the news lately, and he has been claiming that he's been he's scammed out of hundreds of millions of dollars, I think 175 million for the for the recent lawsuit against Jonah Recknitz, uh, his former, now former business associate, who is, you know, as you all know, Jewish and uh part of the Israel camp. And and Floyd was in love with Israel and Jonah for a second, and now he's suing them, saying he stole from them. But Jonah came out with a lot of receipts. Y'all know they're saying Floyd Mayweather was going broke and this and that. Well, Jonah came out with receipts. Now we got to see how Floyd responds. But we're gonna talk about those receipts. It it don't look good for Floyd Mayweather. I'm gonna tell you that now. Also, Trump was at the Knick game, uh, and they weren't too happy about him being there. Uh, he got bulled and he fell asleep, and there was just a lot of Trump stuff going on. So we're gonna talk about all that. Plus, oh y'all, um it's not good.
Aging And A Hospice Reality Check
SPEAKER_04It's not it's it's not fun. We're gonna talk about getting old too, or just aging. Um my grandfather uh is apparently uh on his way to the hospice uh out of nowhere. I mean he lived he lived a long, lived a long full life, but up until two days ago, he was 100% fine. Um and this is my grandfather who was not full transparency, not my blood grandfather. Um but he was my gr my my blood granny. Y'all know the one I always talk about, my granny, the one who invented, and I don't like it, and where I got it from, where I got my inspiration from, where I just the only true love. My granny's the only true love that I could really say that I really, man. You know, you miss people more than you really you just never imagine how you gonna miss somebody when they're gone and it's like the way my granny loved me. It just I never realized that it was a love that just you just not gonna you just can't replace, man. And my grandfather who I'm speaking on, that was her husband of shoot, I think 30 plus years. Um, rest in peace to my granny, miss her so much. But my grandfather loved the hell out of her, um, took care of her, just did everything you're supposed to do as a man. And he was one of the, he he is one of them. I'm speaking in the past. My grandfather is one of those people who stayed busy, stayed active. Um and and so to get the news that he is going to the hospice and getting that out of nowhere, so um it hurts. It hurts. It just hurts because it was just uh what happened was like out of nowhere. Like last week, my grandfather, they say uh he just was getting out of the bed and had a little minor fall, hit his head, which ironically my granny hit her head, had failed and hit her head, and that's what ultimately took her out of it out of here. But it was not even nothing major. Like he didn't even call the ambulance or anything. He called his uh daughter, who then called her daughter, uh, which was her his grandchild, to come pick him up and uh take him to the to the uh to the doctor hospital. And everything was fine. They were doing what I'm what I hear, they were just doing rent uh regular uh checking on them and just getting to making sure everything was good, and he was in there, this was last week, so he was in there for about a week or less, and you know, mapping out his home and mapping out what he was gonna do when he got out of the hospital. Um, just his regular self. And then uh just two days ago, it just went left. And they found his head, he was bleeding on the brain, like internally. And he's not, I mean, he's just out of commission, and now it looks like we are at that point where um he needs he's not gonna be here anymore or whatever. I don't even know how I don't even want to say it or whatever. It's just it's been a tough time because I I I I know one thing, I know he is happy, he'll be happy to see Granny again when that day comes. But y'all, if y'all got people out there that love you, definitely appreciate them and love you in the way that you need to be loved. Like we, it's like a key. Key don't fit every lock, but when it's the right lock, it unlocks the door. And um, I don't know, thinking about what's what happened to my grandfather kind of made me think about what happened to my granny. It's just a lie, man. Life is real. I take the good with the bad and appreciate it all. But ain't nothing wrong with admitting that sometimes that shit is just tough. Um growing up, you know, we I had a lot of a lot of different things. Don't like to complain, but I don't know. I wish my I wish I had more people. I guess I wish I had more grannies around me. I wish I wish I had more of that granny love. Um
Why Granny Love Still Hits
SPEAKER_04that love that just make you feel good even when you don't feel good, make you feel like Superman, even though that day you might not, you might be Clark Kent. You might not have it that day, or you might be in the worst, might be in a bad place. Um but granny always knew what to say, even when she was criticizing. I don't know, it's just hard. It's just a it's just a hard thing to explain. I don't even know how she did it or how she was able to do it, but she knew how to talk to me. We knew how to talk to each other, and I think that's that's important. Like I said, whether it was good times, bad times, um horrible times, whatever, great times. We we did a lot of things, went camping together, all type of stuff. But Granny is the only one I've ever known in my life that could just hit every angle and never and never make you feel like shit, or make you feel like you're not enough. Even when she criticized them. Because one thing about Granny, she she she she wanted the best for you and wanted you to put your best foot forward at all times. So she wasn't like an easy like she wasn't, she didn't, she did, she did have, she did expect a lot out of you.
SPEAKER_07But she definitely knew how to it always seemed like it was coming from a place of love and not like not like a bring you down type of thing.
SPEAKER_04Sometimes people say stuff and it's like you feel like they trying to upset you or or or or just it feels evil, like even if the intent is not evil, it just feels evil. Um but granny definitely knew how to even when she uh had some stuff to say to you that you didn't even want to hear. She just knew how to say it in a way where you still always felt like it was coming from a place of love. So shout out to Granny and I would appreciate some prayers uh for my granddad. Um as he deals with his situation, and like I said, hope the best, but I'm sure when that time comes, if it's coming sooner than later, I'm sure my granddad is gonna be happy to be back with granny. So just letting y'all know that was that's kind of what was going on yesterday, but let's get into the show, man. Hope that helps somebody who may be dealing with something or have dealt with something similar. Just dealing with people you love and and and things not going as you expect them to go.
SPEAKER_07Uh so where are we gonna start
Christina Corum Dodges Accountability Again
SPEAKER_07at? Christina corn.
SPEAKER_04KK. She has managed to get herself or hold herself from not being accountable in uh the whole Diddy saga. Here she is right here, and that typical picture of her smiling, like, oh, I just got away with some more shit. But uh she recently scored a victory for her and Diddy. And I've been telling y'all, I don't know what Christina Corb got going on, but she got some damn uh she has uh some some connections for sure. Let's see, Diddy's right hand. This article from TMZ, Diddy's right hand woman gets male accuser sex trafficking battery claims tossed. She got another case basically just thrown out. Diddy's longtime right-hand woman, Christina Korm, scored a huge win in court after a judge dismissed sex trafficking claims against her. TMZ has learned. According to court docs obtained by TMZ, a Los Angeles County Superior Court judge sided with Christina at a recent hearing in June. The judge ruled that the sexual battery, sex trafficking, and several other claims brought against Christina by Diddy's former employee, Philip Himes, were to be thrown out of court. And they actually posted an old tweet so you can understand how much Christina Korn was handled and how much Diddy depended on her. This is Diddy, a tweet from Diddy saying, This is from January 21st, 2021. Meet Christina Korn, Chief of Staff at Combs Enterprises. Christina, aka K K keeps everything in my life and my business running. She's been my right hand for the last eight years and has consistently proven to execute and get shit done. Don't know how I function without her. So I guess the whole point of that tweet is to let you know Christina Korn ran the business. Legal or illegal, that's what we all in these court proceedings to find out. But with the court, the court found that Phillip failed to submit evidence to back up his claims Christina could be held liable for any of the alleged crimes committed against him. The judge said Phillip did not show Christina had knowledge of any alleged sexual battery or knew about or benefited from any alleged sexual trafficking. Christina, who was described by another male Diddy accuser as Ghlaine Maxwell figured, denied all allegations of wrongdoing in the case. As TMC first reported, Phillip, who worked for Diddy from 2019 to 2021, sued the mogul and Christina for alleged sex trafficking, sexual battery, and more. As for Diddy, his team denied Phillips' claims shortly after the suit was filed. A rep said no matter how many lawsuits are filed, it won't change the fact that Mr. Combs has never sexually assaulted or sex trafficked anyone, man or woman, adult or minor. We live in a world where anyone can file a lawsuit for any reason. This is, and I'm quoting there uh Combs attorney, Diddy. Fortunately, a fair and impartial judicial process exists to find the truth, and Mr. Combs is confident he will prevail in court, the rep added. So Philip Pines, you don't remember Philip Pines, he was the person who said he worked for Diddy for a few years. Diddy made him have sexual relations with other women. I don't know how he forced them. Um, according to Phillip, and Phillip went to sue, and uh it didn't come out, it didn't go Phillip's way. Let's just say that. Um, a lot of people say Diddy was concerned about this suit.
SPEAKER_06Y'all already know Diddy don't like this type of publicity. Word on the street is an ex-employee is suing Diddy, claiming they were forced to cover up evidence of a wild sex party. I'm talking much money, NDAs thicker than a phone book, the whole nine yards. Now, we want to gossip, but this is Diddy we're talking about. The man knows how to throw a party, and let's just say his reputation precedes him. Of course, these are just allegations at this point, and Diddy's team is denying everything. But if these accusations are true, well, let's just say it wouldn't be the first time a powerful man has been accused of some shady stuff. This story is far from over, folks. Keep your eyes peeled for more updates.
SPEAKER_04So, yeah, the Philippines one was a wild one, man. It was a lot of NDA signed, a lot of money exchange hands. Uh uh it was uh he said that, I mean, they he had, which is this is why I'm saying Christina Corum had some damn. Christina Coram has some damn connections, y'all, because this guy, Phillip Pines, had text messages, uh audio, voice, voice messages, voice notes. And um, as far as from what I seen from the documentaries he was in, it seemed like he had a lot of evidence to at least go to trial or at least go to court. Um, but Christina Korn got it all thrown out. I mean, this dude had text messages basically of Christina Korm telling him clean up after the the illegal freak offs, uh telling them to basically go get drugs for Diddy. And it's like what more evidence do you need? I don't know. This this, like I said, I don't know who Christina Corb knows. I don't even know. She's a real person. She sounds like a uh what they call a shapeshifter. I don't know what they call her now. I'm just playing, but she's definitely she definitely has uh connections. But uh Philip Pines got is thrown out. Another victory for Diddy, uh another victory for Christina Korn, the queen of no accountability. Many people believe Christina Korn is one of the head figures, main figures in the RICO trial or RICO case. Uh as you can see in that tweet, Diddy says she'd been around for what had been eight years in 2001, 2021, which means she must have started somewhere around 2013, maybe all the way up until the he caught a case. So that would mean at least 10 years. She was by Diddy's side. Doing who knows what, God knows what. But uh, she's found another way to escape. She found another way to get out of the uh get out of the get out of the hot water or whatever you but still now Diddy still got a million other cases to to to uh to handle or to face the music on. I don't know where um I don't know where if there are any other Christina Korm cases out there that to be worried about, but all I know is she got this one tossed to the side. So uh that's probably good news for Diddy. As you all know, Diddy needs something to get everybody's mind off that freak tech freak off tape that has been released with him and the itty biddy diddy stuff going on. Uh they they got another, diddy has another possible case out in LA with Jonathan Hay. That is DA is still revealing evidence as we speak. So I'm sure Diddy was pretty happy about this victory, even though I don't know if it's legit. Like I said, I I I don't trust Christina Korm at all. I I don't know, I I actually think she might be a fed, to be honest. I actually think Christina Korn may be a closet fed, because there's no way for her for Diddy to have her handling all of his stuff for 10 years in the middle or the height of all the freak off stuff, and for her to be handling it all that time, and and and for Diddy to be in so much trouble with so much more trouble coming.
SPEAKER_07It's hard to believe she somehow had zero trouble and she ran everything. Does that make any sense to y'all? If that don't make any sense, put a one in a comment.
SPEAKER_04If that don't make any sense to you, put a one in a comment. How can a person have all of this trouble going on?
SPEAKER_07All of this trouble going on.
SPEAKER_04And in the person handling all their affairs, like I mean everything. Putting helping them put the freak offs together. She helped coordinate. I say she, I'm talking about Christina Korn. She helped coordinate the freakoffs, she helped coordinate the drugs, the women, the sex workers, the being picked up, the dropped off. She coordinated all of that. We have text messages and audio messages of hearing of her doing this. Yet not even so much as a little slap on the wrist or anything for KK.
SPEAKER_07Or better known as Christina Quorum. Think about that. Think about that. Really think about that. It behooves you.
Help Keep The Show Going
SPEAKER_04And if you want to keep the show going, make sure y'all donate to the Buy Me a Coffee link in the notes, or you can just send me a YouTube super chat. All of it counts. Let's reach our goals. You know, we got a $250 a week goal on the donations and super chats. And let's help reach it. Who gonna be the who gonna who's gonna donate today? Who's gonna be the first one? Who's gonna be the last one? And who's gonna be the one in between?
SPEAKER_07Definitely a lot going on.
SPEAKER_04Definitely, definitely, definitely, definitely, definitely, definitely a lot going on today.
Trump Booed As Knicks Lose
SPEAKER_04Anybody watched that game last night? Shout out to the Spurs. Shout out to the Spurs. Uh came back and did their thing in Madison Square Garden. And you know who was there? Trump. Trump for his first game showed up to the Knicks to watch the Knicks play in Madison Square Garden. The Knicks hadn't lost in basically a month and a half. First game Trump comes to, the Knicks take an L. The first game that Trump came to, the Knicks took an L. And I told y'all yesterday, if the Knicks lose, the first game that Trump shows up to, Knicks Nation and all the Knicks are gonna um blame Trump. And that's exactly what's going on right now. The Knicks are pissed that they lost their first game in ages in the playoffs. And it just so happened the first game that Trump came to. So they're going crazy. But it was a little drama. They booed Trump. I don't know if y'all saw it, but they booed Trump and was pissed because they had to make so many different arrangements for Trump. Watch parties for Knicks fans were canceled. They had to arrive to the arena maybe two hours plus before everything got started. And uh People magazine covered this whole fiasco.
SPEAKER_07The entire fiasco. Trump Knicks.
SPEAKER_04It was drama. So this is People Magazine, y'all. Uh the article is entitled Trump Boo by Nick Fans during NBA Finals game at Madison Square Garden. The president's attendance required airport-like security at the New York City Arena and caused NYPD to shut down 10 square blocks in midtown Manhattan. President Donald Trump was booed at Madison Square Garden as he attended his hometown New York Knicks NBA Finals matchup with the San Antonio Spurs on Monday, June 8th. Trump was watching the game from a private box alongside Kai Trump, the eldest daughter of his son, Donald Trump Jr., the Bulls first came as Avery Wilson performed the Star Spangled Banner. They booed the Star Spangled Banner, y'all. They literally booed the Star Spangled Banner. It was their so I knew it was going to be a crazy night. It was the Knicks' first home game in the team's first finals and the team's first finals appearance since 1999. Of course, like I told you, the Knicks lost. It was 115 and 111. And they'll be returning to San Antonio for game five, but there'll be a Knicks be uh still a Madison Square Garden for game four. The president's attendance at the invitation of Knicks' owner and longtime friend James Dolan. Like I said, it required an airport-like security at the New York City Arena and caused the NYPD to shut down 10 square blocks around the garden. Long dubbed the Mecca basketball. The home crowd, many of whom paid thousands of dollars to attend, gave a cold welcome to the president who has not attended a Knicks game in years. New York City Mayor Zoran Mamdani, a Democrat, was also in attendance, but in a different part of the stadium. He told the press earlier on Monday that he had bought a standing room-only ticket for about a thousand dollars.
SPEAKER_07Standing room only.
SPEAKER_04For three hours.
SPEAKER_07And you don't even have a seat. Wow. Sheesh.
SPEAKER_04Between gas and NBA games, shit. You got to make some money out here, boy. Now the Knicks haven't won an NBA Finals since 1973. They won the first two games of this year's series in San Antonio after not having lost a game in the playoffs since the first round. Games three and four were scheduled this week for Monday and Wednesday. I think the Knicks have an amazing team, Trump says, and the way they played. He told reporters aboard Air Force One last week following the series' second game. It started off slow and it just got stronger and stronger. Now, the president who has attended football games, golf tournaments, and professional fights since returning to the White House, praised Knicksstars Jalen Brunson, Carl, Carl, Carl Anthony Towns as fantastic, and said the Spurs 7-4 French Vietnam Victoria Wimbyama looks like he's going to be a great player. Because of the heightened security around surrounding the president's attendance, the NYPD and Secret Service barred fans from gathering outside the arena during the game, as they have with uh during the playoff run. That's that's the security has been pretty tight. But with the president, it was even tighter, and that's what people were complaining about. They were saying they had to get to the game two hours early just to get in. So that Mom Dani announced on Monday that a free watch party would uh would welcome Knicks fans at Manhattan's Bryant Park, Madison Square Garden organized two other watch parties in Brooklyn and at Central Park's Walmart Rink, which Trump's company once operated. NYPD Commissioner Jessica said on Monday that the city expects crowds to be welcome outside Madison Square Garden in Game Four. As we know, what comes with the presidential visit and Secret Service protocols necessitate a different set of preparation than we would otherwise be taking for the finals. At his Monday morning event centered on the imminent FIVA World Cup, which is set to begin later this week, Mom Dani denounced a threat by Trump's border. Uh sought czar Tom Holman earlier today to deploy more ICE agents than you've ever seen in New York City. So you know they can't go to a game without uh without turning it into something political. But like I said, the bottom line is the Knicks fans are pissed, they are upset because they didn't lose until Trump came. And the minute he comes, they lose. A Knicks fan, I feel for you. You got jinxed and cursed by old Trump. Trump come through, drop the L on y'all, but it'll be okay. Y'all got game four coming up. But for those who tuned in last night, I'm not gonna lie, Trump did kind of turn it into a circus. Um, I don't know if they were booing the Star Spangled Banner because Trump was there, or they just didn't like dude singing. His singing wasn't the best, but I'm like, damn, I don't think you gotta boo the guy. But that's what they did anyway.
Mayweather Claims He Was Scammed
SPEAKER_04Um Floyd Mayweather. Y'all know Floyd Mayweather, my old pal. You know, we had a label together. Uh I were I was on his label, I should say, back in the day, Filthy Rich Records. I know Floyd too well and the family. And he is in the news now. Y'all have we talked about it, and I'm sure you've seen it. Hundreds of millions of dollars, 175 million to be exact, was allegedly stolen from him, basically, according to Floyd from his former business manager, financial money handler. Let's just call him the money handler. He handled the money team's money, Floyd's money, and Floyd is accusing him of saying one for you and one for me, and in his own account. He was he was according to Floyd, he was getting more money from Floyd's account than Floyd. But as they always say, it's three sides to every story. Your side, my side, and then the truth. And uh Jonah, Floyd Mayweather's former business manager, Jonah has come with some receipts refuting what Floyd Mayweather has been saying, and the receipts are pretty strong. We're gonna talk about it and and and and cover this story of man, it just really seems like, and I don't know, I'm not in nobody's, I'm not in Floyd's bank accounts, I don't know what's going on, but it is looking like he the spending, he's had a spending problem, and uh has come back to bite him.
SPEAKER_07So let's let's see what TMZ is saying.
SPEAKER_04TMZ Floyd Mayweather, ex-manager, fires back claims in lawsuit are BS. He's claiming Floyd's lawsuit are BS. But the thing about this dude, Jonah, he got some hella receipts. Floyd Floyd Money Mayweather's former manager, Jonah Recknitz, is clapping back after the legendary boxer filed a $175 million lawsuit, claiming he was the victim of widespread fraud, but his ex-friend, turned faux, says he's got receipts that show the allegations are pure nonsense. Recknus recently sat down with YouTuber Spencer Cornelia and responded to many of Mayweather's allegations in a video that has been reposted by 50 Cent. One of Mayweather's claims centers around $100 million in jewelry, which the undefeated fighter alleges Jonah used as collateral for a $13 million loan. Unbeknownst to the star athlete, Floyd says he never received any of the money. Recknitz, however, says that's not true, and he says he has. Text showing Mayweather acknowledged he was aware of the pawn jury. Now Floyd was acting like he didn't know the jury, his jury was pawned, and he was just lost about that whole situation. But Jonah, and I saw the text messages, has text messages showing that clearly Floyd knew what the hell was going on. Jonah also said he had photos and videos showing the jury in the boxers hotel room at the Fountain Blue in Miami, and then bands of cash later that same day after the jeweler and Joy and Floyd's team made the exchange. Reckniss also claims it was the it wasn't the first time Mayweather pawned jury, alleging he previously helped Floyd secure a $1 million loan from popular New York City-based jeweler Avian Company last February using an $18 million watch as collateral. In this lawsuit, Floyd also claimed Recknus facilitated the sale of his Gulf Stream jet, but never received the proceeds from the sale. Jonas says that's false, claiming Floyd got the money he was due, pointing out most of the funds went to paying off an existing multi-million dollar loan for the plane. Reckness team says they have a photo of Floyd Mayweather holding the airplane purchase. I mean, you can't see, you're listening to the audio. I'm showing a picture of Floyd Mayweather holding the purchase agreement, smiling about, you know, about the private private plane that he said he didn't know about. Recknus paints Mayweather as an athlete in serious financial trouble, attacking the people who were closest to him. I do not, uh this is a statement from Jonah. I do not want to litigate this issue through the media, nor do I want to embarrass Floyd publicly. So I will say this it's sad that Floyd blew through his money. I wrote him many letters concerning his spending habits, which are documented. I had many conversations with him about slowing down with the spending, but unfortunately, it caught up to him, and now he's looking to blame others. Uh first he blamed Al Heyman. Now he's blaming me. Uh these are this is Jonah Recknus' words. First he blamed Al Heyman, now he's blaming me. He sued Showtime for $340 million. He sued Business Insider for $100 million, and now sued me for $175 million. He is unhinged. I hope he can get back on his feet and control his spending. Jonah then continued. Floyd can continue to lie that he didn't know about the plane purchase or the jury pond. The facts speak for themselves. There's a lot more, and I have all of the back up which we tried to show Floyd's attorney before they filed the suit, but he refused to review any evidence that would contradict his frivolous lawsuit. Recknist team says Jonas saw the writing on the wall, and because he knew Mayweather would eventually turn on him, or that he may turn on him, he kept meticulous records of all these transactions and he's ready to fight the frivolous lawsuit. A billion dollars.
SPEAKER_07How everybody wants to know how do you spend a billion dollars?
SPEAKER_04One guy broke down this situation.
SPEAKER_01In 2017, Recknitz and Mayweather became friends, which ultimately led to Recknitz becoming Floyd's investment manager, real estate advisor, and banking liaison. Jonah helped put deals together for Floyd. He was his manager. So that's sponsorships, real estate deals, and fights, just to name a few revenue streams. Jonah shared with me that he was not on salary, meaning he only made money when there was a commission on finding a deal. As an example, Jonah shared with me that Floyd was running out of money in 2020. So Jonah put together a fight with Logan Paul to generate income, as well as many other exhibition fights. Turns out the only people actually punching Floyd in the face at this time were the IRS debt collectors. More on that in a minute. The first
Receipts Point To Spending Trouble
SPEAKER_01big claim that Floyd makes is that he wasn't aware that in 2016 Recknitz had pleaded guilty to wire fraud conspiracy, that Recknitz had cooperated with the United States attorney, or that Recknitz had been the subject of significant civil litigation. What Floyd's attorney was trying to do with this complaint is make it look like Floyd was taken advantage of by a guy with a questionable past. Like Floyd is this innocent victim who had no idea who this guy really was. There's a little problem with that, because I have proof he did know. This letter on the screen was sent in 2023 by Floyd Mayweather to a U.S. District Judge for the Southern District of New York. The bottom includes Floyd's name and his signature. For context, this is Floyd Mayweather's letter to the judge in Jonah Recknus's case speaking about Jonah's character and why he deserves a better outcome. In the second paragraph, he writes, We became friendly and I supported him when he was going through the process of being sentenced in 2019. That sounds to me like he knew about Jonah's litigation in New York. In the third paragraph, he writes that Jonah has worked with him as his promoter and business advisor. He has taken the job and run with it, helping Floyd in every aspect and opening up new opportunities. He further mentions the charitable work they've done together. Further down, he mentions that people have tried to take advantage of Jonah by bringing lawsuits against him as a way to extort him. And finally, Floyd writes, I appreciate you taking the time to read this letter, Your Honor. I would just ask that you consider my personal testimony that Jonah Recknitz is a good person. He claimed that he didn't know about Jonah's past in the complaint, yet he wrote that letter in support of Jonah, showing he clearly knew about the litigation in New York. So it doesn't seem to add up. Many have speculated that Mayweather's com.
SPEAKER_04That's gonna be another issue for Floyd. Floyd claimed that he did not he did not know Jonah had a check or pass, or he's acting like he didn't know. When he literally wrote a letter to the court for Jonah. And he uh about his case or Jordan's case or whatever. So that's gonna be it's like he poked Jonah poked holes in every part every single part of Floyd's case. And I'm gonna be honest with you, I don't I don't think I don't I think that that that case is gonna get thrown out. I think that that that lawsuit that Floyd is I think it's gonna get thrown out. Um the receipts that Jonas showed and everybody broke down because uh it's just too much to ignore.
SPEAKER_01This is another 80% distributions to real estate investing. Another major allegation in the complaint is that Recknitz orchestrated a $13 million loan from Heiky That doesn't sound like someone who is disappointed in the outcome of his real estate investing. Another major allegation in the complaint is that Recknits orchestrated a $13 million loan from Heike Capital LLC secured by Floyd's property in Miami Beach, Florida. The picture in the background is of Floyd and Don Hankey. This property is actually owned by Josh Gatlib and Meyer Orbach. Back in 2024, when Floyd was running out of cash, he needed to sell two properties. So he sold it to the two names I just mentioned, and it was a favor by them. But the allegation is that $6.5 million of that loan went to the purchase of the private jet we discussed earlier in the video, and only approximately $4 million was made available to Mayweather Promotions. The full accounting is right here. $6.5 million to buy a jet with TBE Aviation LLC as the owner. That's Floyd's private jet-related LLC. The $4 million to Mayweather Promotions is listed, and all of the other allocations are listed, with none relating to Recknitz or the other defendants. He also claimed there was another loan of $16.4 million and worded it such that it looks like Frist Apex Ventures took $8.8 million of his money. The money from these properties all became his investment in the $31.5 million portfolio mentioned a few moments earlier, properly managed by the LLC he's suing.
SPEAKER_05So what I told them is, of course, I wanted my payout to be a little different. Normally the payouts are, you know, at the beginning of the month, but I wanted my payouts to be every week. Spread it out throughout the week because I'm traveling, you know, uh family, friends, we're traveling, we're moving around, we're doing different things. So I wanted my payouts to be like that. And everything played out like it played out, and everything was going great.
SPEAKER_01This speech stood out to me now that I'm viewing it through the lens of Floyd going broke. Why in the world would you need to change the distribution schedule to be weekly? Didn't Floyd make like $500 million boxing? Why do you now all of a sudden you're so tight on cash flow that you need your distributions to be paid every single week so you can afford a vacation? Floyd Mayweather Father's Baby with Dancer. Order to pay one million dollars in backchild support.
SPEAKER_04Jonathan Yeah, that is telling. That is telling, man. I i i and it if this is the case, this is just a sad story. Floyd had I don't know. But the fact that he couldn't wait a month to get his earnings and wanted them every week does say something about his financial uh position, but you know. The bottom line is Floyd Madweather dropped his lawsuit like last week. Um so we didn't hear it, we we just now hearing the other side of it, and like I said, Jonah got a matter of fact, Jonah even has uh receipts of the what is it of the uh Federal Credit Union?
SPEAKER_01You can see Floyd of the uh oh here it is the jewelry Floyd Mayweather pawning jewelry despite being so wealthy and always seemingly I just shared the text messages between Floyd. That loan was almost paid in full. If you reread Joel's message, it makes sense. Joel says, I have recouped everything and hasn't had to sell any pieces. All that remains is another $360,000 so Floyd doesn't have to pay any more fees. In case you aren't following, Joel can sell the watches that were pawned if Floyd doesn't pay the $13 million back. But he didn't need to sell watches because he was paid back and made a million and a half dollars in fees. In the complaint, Floyd discusses pawning his $100 million jewelry collection with the words to be pledged or placed in the possession of Joel, a Miami jewelry dealer, the amount received was around $13 million. A substantial portion of the pledged jewelry remains in the possession of Joel and Modi, and no accounting has been provided to Mr. Mayweather, and then alleges that the consideration received was diverted by Recknitz and not paid to Floyd. I just shared the text messages between Floyd and Joel showing the accounting of the transaction and that nothing seemed to be awry. This is not the first time Floyd has had to take a pawn loan. Earlier last year, he borrowed $1 million from his friend Avi, the owner of Avi and Co., against his $18 million Jacob Co. watch. Upon research, I realized that even though the retail is $18 million, the market value is about $2 to $3 million. So Floyd's $100 million jewelry collection is more likely worth a fraction of that. Why is Floyd Mayweather pawning jewelry despite being so wealthy and always seemingly around cash? I asked Jonah how much Floyd spends every single month on his team, and Jonah estimated around $1 million. What happens when you can't afford your team's salaries? Here's a video from Floyd's assistant of his entire jewelry collection as they took photos and video of all of the jewelry before pawning. This photo is the same table from the video before with cash on the table as that was the cash delivered for pawning the jewelry. When you add up Floyd's entire lifestyle, he could easily be spending two to three million dollars per month, which means he probably needs to be making around $50 million of pre-tax income in order to just break even on that lifestyle expenses. When you're fighting Connor McGregor or Manny Pacquiao, you can cover that type of spend. But I always talk about this in my athletes going broke series. These athletes will keep their life.
SPEAKER_04Wow.
SPEAKER_07That's a lot to spend.
SPEAKER_04That's a lot to spend, man. Sad story. Hopefully it works out for Floyd, but as as of right now, it ain't looking good at all. And I don't like it. Wow.
Closing Thanks And Prayers For Granddad
SPEAKER_04I think that's a perfect spot to end it.
