Welcome to Caffeinated Chaos, where business deals happen between diaper changes and friendships are fueled by caffeine. I'm Whitney GaN, your host, and I'm here to talk all things business parenthood, and of course keeping up with the BFFs, whether you're juggling the boardroom, the playroom, or just here for some coffee fuel chaos. We've got you covered. Get ready for real talk, laughs and a whole lot of heart as we dive into the beautiful mess that is entrepreneurship, parenthood, and everything in between. So let's embrace the chaos together. Caffeinated, of course. Today we have a big one, like extra shot, double, triple espresso level big because this everyone is our 50th episode. Can you believe that? 50. Okay, let's just take a second. Ooh. Can't believe we got there. So when I hit record for the very first time on this podcast, I did not know exactly where it was going to go. I had this idea and I wanted to create a space for motherhood business and, you know, the messy bun life, where they could all coexist. Where we can be honest about all the chaotic stuff in life. So in true caffeinated chaos fashion, I wanted to start today's episode with a little honesty. All right, so podcasting while parenting. Gosh, I am so glad that I have an extra person in our household. Who helps with the kids. And so it is a challenge sometimes I've now in a good place where I only have to podcast on Wednesdays and they take the kids out or like right now everyone is still sleeping. So finding time to podcast is so hard. So that's why I'm like so impressed with myself that we got to 50 episodes. This show has been interrupted by so many things, children coming in house or my husband, someone going to the bathroom and flushing with the door open. So it's shows up in the audio. Yeah, a lot. And it does take quite a while to edit. I wouldn't change it though All right, so this episode's really gonna be kind of like a recap. Let's start with something that's funny though, because honestly if we can't laugh, then we'll probably be crying in the shower while the toddler scrapes the door, like some scene from a horror movie. There have been so many times where maybe there was this one time I recorded what I thought was the best episode ever. Just to realize that my Yeti mic was off and so it recorded through the microphone in the computer and that recording was so bad. Y'all like, I did not salvage it. I thought the first one was really, really good. So then it made the second one seem not so great when I rerecorded it. I can't even mention how many times I had to stop recording on Thursdays, because I would expect the gardeners to be here at a certain time and they would constantly change your schedule. And so I would have leaf blowers in the background of my audio. But it is wild to think about how much life has changed over these 50 episodes. It's been months. My baby is about to turn one. My toddler's about to turn. Four. Businesses are growing and. You know, we've been here for it. The dms, the shares, the reviews, the goods, and the bads. The, oh my God, say, me too. This hit home. I feel seen. I love those comments. So let's talk about some lessons that I've learned over the 50 episodes. Okay. So we're gonna do five'cause there are many, but let's just do five number one. This is probably my most favorite one, and I think that it can be so relatable to a lot of you over different aspects, but one done is better than perfect. Okay. Because waiting for the perfect moment. You've heard me talk about this before. You'll just never start. Hit record like I did launch the offer. You know, post that imperfect reel done is better than perfect, and I love this one. Two, your voice matters. This is so important right now. Your voice matters. Even if it gets interrupted, it matters whether there's a kid yelling in the background or like me in lawnmowers. Speak up anyway. And again, we all know what's happening right now and speaking up and having your voice heard is so important. Three, consistency builds trust. And this is important too for your business or anything really it. Showing up even if imperfect, like we were talking about, done is better than perfect. It counts because it's really just building that trust with your audience and honestly with yourself. Like the more you do it, the more you build the confidence in you. It's going to show yourself too, that you can do this I've seen people talk about podcasts will quit before they get to the 10th episode, and so. I made sure that when I was like, okay, I'm launching with five episodes. I'm already halfway there. I can do this, and then I learned how to batch record. I had people wanting to come on as guests, even though this was a brand new experience and a brand new podcast. So honestly, it built up my confidence and trust in myself that this is worth it and people want to hear it. So it builds trust between you and your audience, but also the other way around. Four. You don't need a studio. You just need a story. Honestly, I film this in a small little corner in my living room where I have my little office, and on the other side are piles and piles of toys. It's chaos. You would understand why we call ourself caffeinated chaos. People have recorded in closets, cars. With headphones just on your iPhone, you don't need all the fancy equipment. I was lucky enough that literally my husband and my housemate bought me this for my birthday way before I even started podcasting because we are gamers too, and you don't need all the fancy stuff. You just need you and a story. And you know what? You'll find your space. And five, there is so much power in being your whole messy self. People don't tend to connect with Polish. They look up to it maybe, or they fantasize about how much they want to be like that. I feel like that's more of what it is, but they connect with people who are just as messy as they are, just. As in the middle of the chaos as they are. I like to call that like the little messy magic area. I mean, who doesn't love a messy bun? Right? So I just wanna say a big thank you to everyone who's listened. Whether this is the first time you are listening, welcome. Hi. There are 49 other episodes to binge listened to or if you've followed me on every single episode. I am so grateful. I love you. You've been a big part of making Caffe Chaos successful and. I hope to make even more episodes coming out. We still have plenty of guests who've already recorded with me, so there's a lot more to learn from them. You've made this, honestly feel less like a hot mess and more of more like a human, like that connection and. I don't take that lightly. I see you as giving me your time in the day and I appreciate it and I will not take it lightly. I will continue, hopefully inspiring and being here. And even if it's just like I come to hear the crazy, well, the chaos is always happening, there will always be the crazy stories. Okay, so I'm already thinking ahead. I have so many more things I want to talk about. New segments, fun guest, and maybe something a little more. Mm, visual. I'm thinking YouTube channels. Okay. I will get there when I get there, you know? But for now, I just wanted to raise a virtual mug of coffee, whether it's hot, cold, tea, anything, hot cocoa to every mom, every dad, every business owner, dreamer, who's trying to do all the things and not lose yourself in the process. I see you, you are seeing, this is your community. Come interact with us on Instagram and threads'cause you are doing way better than you think. And guess what? You are always welcomed here. All right. Thank you again for supporting me over these 50 episodes. And I will see you all in the next episode. Bye now. That's a wrap on another episode of Caffeinated Chaos. I hope you're leaving with a little more clarity, a lot more inspiration, and maybe even an extra shot of motivation. If you love today's episode, don't forget to follow us.
