I am a mom of a toddler and a newborn, and I'm also someone who knows what it's like to be writing email sequences with one hand while burping a baby in the other. So if you're in the thick of building a business and building a family at the same time, hi, you're my people. What launching a newborn and a new offer have in common? Because listen, whether you're prepping to birth a baby or birth a business, there are so many messy parallels that nobody talks about, but guess what? That's where we're going today. So grab your cup of coffee and let's go. All right, let's rewind to the prep phase. You're planning, you're dreaming, you're creating color coded launch spreadsheets, Googling everything at 2:00 AM stockpiling snacks. So whether it's a product lunch or packing your hospital bag, the energy is about the same. You're excited, you're anxious, you're feeling like you should be doing more. But also you are already exhausted, and it hasn't even started yet. And let's not ignore the quote, avalanche of advice. Everyone, your cousin, your mentor, your great aunt, everybody suddenly becomes an expert. Sleep, while you can build your audience first, don't worry. It'll come naturally. Except it doesn't always come naturally in both parenting and business. And guess what? That's okay. All right. Now let's move to the delivery room, or staring at that publish button. It's the moment of no return. You've done what you can. You've prepped emails, written the copy, fluff, the landing page. Or in my case, it comes on. Unexpectedly when you're shopping at Target, when the baby comes or the offer goes live, there's adrenaline, euphoria, total chaos, and a bit of that realization that life as you knew, it just changed. Because now you are in it. You're responding to comments, your feedback, late night feedings or refund requests, you are celebrating and yet wondering if you're doing everything right because you are realizing that launching is only the beginning. All right, so then let's talk about what nobody talks about, and that's what happens after the launch. The quiet, the crash, the what now with babies, you leave the hospital and suddenly they trust you to keep this tiny human alive. Right? We've talked about this before. There is no manual, so you're Googling how to swaddle while crying into. Insert choice here, a granola bar, a pillow at 3:00 AM with business. It's why didn't I sell? Like I thought, why am I still tired? Why do I feel weirdly empty even though I worked so hard for this? It's not failure. That's just the emotional hangover of creation. It's your body, your brain, your soul is simply catching up. So remember to give yourself grace. Look, let's get one thing straight. Every baby develops in their own timeline. Every business offer grows at its own pace. If somebody else's baby is sleeping through the night and yours is still nocturnal, like mine was for so long. So what? So what if someone else's course sells out in 24 hours and yours gets two signups, that doesn't mean it's not valuable or that you are not good at what you do. Business and motherhood are marathons, not sprints. Again, they are marathons, not sprints. They require nurturing attention. Flexibility and a whole lot of snacks. Regardless if you're talking about the baby or your business, and you know what? And if you're breastfeeding and business building, you need double the snacks. Trust me. I actually had lactation cookies this last round with my second child, and there are some really good ones out there. So let's talk about real life strategies, because I know that you are not here just for my really bad metaphors. So here we go. Actionable steps, like I always love to give you, take what you like, leave what you don't. But here is number one, give yourself a soft launch in both babies and business. Not everything needs to be big and loud. Test your offer quietly. Ease in, don't burn out on day one. Okay, two. Automate what you can. Schedule emails. Prep content ahead. Delegate task, even if it's just asking your partner to do a grocery run. Okay? Three. Create a flex schedule. Work in baby windows, naps, quiet plays, screens if needed, if that's your thing. This is not the season for rigid time blocking. This is the time to be flexible. Four. Build your support team, and this means family, friends, your business besties, and yes, investing in support like a VA or a coach. If you can, just remember that you do not have to do this all alone. And five, celebrate the small wins. Did you nurse the baby while sending out your newsletter? Did you get two signups instead of zero? And did you show up at all when you wanted to just quit? Major win. Okay. See where I'm going with this? You can love your business and feel overwhelmed. You can be grateful for your babies and still crave quiet. You can cry from exhaustion and still be deeply aligned with your purpose. That doesn't make you ungrateful, it makes you human. At GaN Studios and at Cafee Chaos, I get this duality. We're a branding studio that works with Parenters who live in the duality of family and business where chaos and clarity can both coexist. Where people say, I don't know what I'm doing, lives right next to, I'm doing the damn thing, you know? If you're ready to build a brand that works with you in your real life and not the fake one, people post online. Let's connect. Let's talk about it. Let's open up lines of communication, because guess what? Your story matters even when it's messy. All right, everyone. Until next time, keep the baby fed the offer alive, and your coffee, I hope is at least lukewarm. You've got this I'll see you in the next episode. Bye now.
