"On the Road" at Lengua Conference 2025, Miami - Nidal Barake, Elad Zvi, and Ryan King
Today on our episode #415 of All in the Industry, Shari Bayer has a special “On the Road” show from Lengua Conference 2025, which took place April 9-10, 2025, in Miami, Florida at The Hub Miami, a collaborative event space, featuring two full days of inspiring talks about the future of the food business, plus delicious food and drink, and a few special collab dinner events. Lengua, whose name comes from “tongue” in Spanish, used to taste food and to speak, was produced by Gluttonomy, a food marketing and consulting agency based in Miami, co-founded by Nidal Barake, who is one of our show guests. Shari was happy to sit down with Nidal to discuss his career and inspiration for Lengua, which was its 4th event this year. In addition, Shari spoke with longtime industry friend, Elad Zvi, Co-Founder of Bar Lab Consulting and former Managing Partner of the globally acclaimed Broken Shaker in Miami Beach. With his business partner, Gabe Orta, Elad re-energized the hospitality scene. Lastly, Shari chatted with Ryan King, Founder of Rooted Agency, and longtime journalist and editor at Fine Dining Lovers, an online magazine focusing on the world of politics, society, culture and entertainment through the lens of food.
