Transform into Wisdom Podcast
If you have ever wondered why you still don't feel free — even after you left, even after the therapy, even after you finally understood what happened to you — this show is for you.
The Transform into Wisdom Podcast is hosted by Mariam Kavai, PhD — a Certified Trauma-Informed Coach and Post Traumatic Growth Teacher who speaks from both sides of this journey: as a researcher and as someone who has walked this path herself.
This show exists for sensitive souls ready to heal from narcissistic relationships and dysfunctional families — beyond traditional therapy — and transform deep emotional wounds into wisdom, self-trust, emotional mastery, and lasting empowerment.
What makes this show different: most content stops at naming the pattern — the narcissist, the family dynamic, the cycle of abuse.
This one goes further.
Mariam blends neuroscience, nervous system research, and depth psychology with spirituality and lived truth — so you understand not just what happened, but what is happening in your brain and body right now, and exactly what it takes to come home to yourself.
Because understanding what happened to you is just the beginning.
Becoming who you were always meant to be — that is where this show lives.
Science meets soul. Healing meets evidence. This is Transform into Wisdom.

There is a lie that floats around in narcissistic abuse recovery spaces — that if you just understand it enough, the pain will finally loosen its grip.
If you can trace the trauma, name the disorder, and decode the narcissist's mind, then maybe you'll be free.
But no amount of knowledge about narcissism will un-break your heart.
In this episode, I share a metaphor that will stay with you — about what it feels like to be hit by a train that never stopped.
The narcissist keeps moving, smooth and intact. The damage is not on the train. The damage is in you.
And that one realization changes everything about what healing actually requires.
You'll hear why consuming more narcissism content can actually keep you stuck, why the brain's hunger to understand can work against your nervous system, and what it really means to turn the focus away from the person who hurt you — and back toward yourself.
This episode also asks the questions that most recovery content avoids:
What emotional state were you in when you met this person?
What unconscious needs were driving your decisions?
And what is it in your own story that made you vulnerable?
The truth will set you free. But first, it may piss you off.
This is Part 1. We continue in Part 2.
If this episode speaks to you, I would love it if you left a review on Apple Podcasts or Spotify — it helps more people find their way here.
Stay empowered and true to yourself.
