From Boys to Men: A Journey Through Masculinity
From Boys to Men is a podcast about the embodied journey of masculinity.
Season 1, titled UNCUT, focused on the raw and often unspoken realities of male puberty — exploring shame, sexuality, and the body through a somatic lens.
Now, in Season 2, we expand the conversation. From grief and addiction to love, longing, and emotional intimacy, we explore the evolving terrain of manhood beyond adolescence.
Through storytelling, music, and honest reflection, this podcast is a space to unshame the masculine experience — not to define what a man should be, but to uncover what it means to be fully human in a male body.

[S2 E14] The Peaceful Papa w/ Ravi Rothenberg
What does it mean to be a peaceful man—and a present father—inside a world that measures worth by money, stability, and performance?
In this episode, Ravi Rothenberg shares his journey of returning to his car dealership job not as a compromise, but as an energetically aligned role where regulation, care, and integrity matter more than hustle. We explore how a car-buying experience can become an unexpected initiation space, where Ravi offers steadiness, nervous system regulation, and a quiet fatherly presence to people in moments of stress and uncertainty.
Ravi opens up about releasing the “shoulds” of fatherhood—I should have more money, I should be more stable—and how letting go of these inherited expectations has allowed him to show up with more honesty, presence, and ease for his kids. He also reflects on a meaningful father–son trip with his own dad, touching into lineage, repair, and what it means to be both a son and a father at the same time.
The episode includes improvised songs—“Peaceful Papa,” “Ravi’s Dealership,” and one I wrote recently “Why Did You Care?”—letting music do the integration that words can’t.
