Andrew Pendleton is Professor of Employee Ownership and Reward at UNSW Sydney Business School and former head of the School of Management and Governance. He holds a BA in PPE from Oxford and a PhD in Social Sciences from Bath. His research focuses on employee ownership, share plans, and corporate governance, and he was a member of the UK Inland Revenue Advisory Committee that helped develop the Share Incentive Plan and Enterprise Management Incentives.

Emma Parker is a Senior Associate at Tapestry Compliance, specialising in share plans for UK plcs, including executive remuneration and tax-advantaged plans. She advises on multi-jurisdictional projects spanning plan launches, executive plan renewals, and provider migrations, working closely with Company Secretarial and Reward teams. Emma trained at an international law firm and has been at Tapestry for nine years. 

Michelle Murphy is Deputy Company Secretary and Head of Shareholder Services at Evelyn Partners with more than 28 years of experience across equity incentives, offshore trust structures, and shareholder services. She leads the Group's end-to-end equity operations and has played a central role in major transactions including the 2020 Tilney–Smith & Williamson merger and the forthcoming sale of Evelyn Partners to NatWest Group. Earlier in her career she held senior share plan and governance roles at Sainsbury's, Willis, and Computershare.

Murray Tompsett is UK Industry Lead at Optio Incentives, helping companies get the most from their employee share plans. He is a successful and accomplished senior share plan professional with more than 20 years in the sector - including four years as Head of ProShare. Murray has a wealth of experience - and anecdotes to match.

Sonia Gilbert is a partner at Clifford Chance and a remuneration and incentives lawyer, advising on remuneration regulation and governance, incentive plans, and employment tax issues. A significant part of her practice centres on private equity and management incentivisation, working with PE houses and management teams to design equity that puts genuine ownership in the hands of the people driving a business towards exit, from senior management incentive plans to broad-based schemes spanning many jurisdictions.

Veronika Lipinska is a Director in BDO UK's Share Plans and Incentives practice, where she helps companies deliver shares and share options to management and employees in a tax-efficient way. A non-practising solicitor, tax advisor, and book author, she specialises in HMRC-approved plans such as EMI and CSOP, and advises across the full spectrum of incentives, from growth shares and unapproved options to RSUs, RSAs, and carried interest. Much of her work is international: she frequently advises private equity houses and companies with cross-border workforces across the US, Australia, and Europe.
