Rachael Hartman

Rachael Hartman is a native of Whitley County, graduating from Columbia City High School. She attended Indiana State University where she earned a Bachelor’s degree in Theater and Communication. For eight years, Hartman served as a reporter, assistant editor and managing editor for Whitley County’s newspaper The Post & Mail. She now serves as a Curator Technician for the Whitley County Historical Museum, and is editor of the Whitley County Historical Society’s quarterly publication “The Bulletin.” Hartman also has her own photography business – Hartland Photography. In her free time, Hartman likes to spend time with her husband Justin and her family, she likes to travel and collect historical items and fossils.

Bruce Miller

Bruce Miller is a former Major League Baseball utility infielder. He played for the San Francisco Giants from 1973 to 1976.  Miller was drafted by the Chicago White Sox from Indiana University. Miller led the Hoosiers in hits in both 1968 and 1969, earning all Big Ten honors at shortstop in 1969. He advanced through the White Sox farm system, hitting .289 for the 1972 Triple-A Tucson Toros, and was traded to the California Angels along with Bruce Kimm for veteran pitcher Eddie Fisher in August 1972.

Clay Geiger

Guest Co-Host Clay Geiger has been a board member of the Whitley County Historical Society for many years. He is also a published author of three historical books on Whitley County: Etna - Town of Dreams, Highway 109 North and Highway 109 South. Clay is a retired teacher and still farms with his sons.
