Ben was born and raised in Southern Oregon. After completing a two year full-time church mission he received an undergraduate degree in Manufacturing Engineering Technology from Brigham Young University in Utah. He then completed his graduate studies in prosthetics and orthotics at Baylor College of Medicine in Texas. Since then Ben has worked at clinics of all types - small and large, corporate and private. With financial backing from his brother, Jordan, Ben started his own orthotics and prosthetics clinic in August 2024. He's now navigating the ins and outs of independent private practice and started The O&P Startup Podcast to share what he's learning. Ben hopes that what he is learning will be helpful to healthcare professionals, patients, and others, and will inspire others to branch out and be willing to operate more independently.
