Hey everyone, welcome to another episode of Mind Over Masculinity. I'm your host, Avik, and today we'll go in a different way. Why I said this? Because let's start with the question, right? What if I told you that the biggest obstacles in your life, your struggles with the mental health, relationships, career and even your physical well-being might not actually be real roadblocks at all? Right, they were just the patterns, imprints and kind of limiting beliefs coded into your subconscious, and that you actually have the power to rewrite them. Right, that's a point to think, right? So today we are unlocking that matrix, not the one with Keanu Reeves dodging bullets, but the one that shapes your very reality. And to help us navigate this hidden world of subconscious, we have none other than Dr Alan Sellers. So welcome to the show.
Speaker 2:Dr Alan. Thank you very much, Avik. I'm so excited to be here and talk about that passionate subject and so critical and fundamental for who do we think we are and why we manifest things in our lives.
Speaker 1:Lovely, lovely, great. So, dr Allen, like before we start, I'd quickly love to introduce you to all of our listeners. Dear listeners, dr Allen is a mind and body expert, a best author and the creator of the Mind Clearing System. Speaker 2:Welcome to the show again, dr Salas. Yeah, thank you very much, and I would like to start a bit by saying that you know what happened to my life. I wanted to have some answer, you know, and the most important question always is why you know why things happening to you, evic, why things are happening to me right, why things happening into our life when we, why we have a limitation in certain field and why we can be like, so brilliant in others. So that was really what started that journey for me wow, that's love.
Speaker 1:That's really, really lovely. So we'll start with, uh, the foundation. I mean what exactly the subconscious matrix is. I mean that shapes our lives and how does it dedicate our health, success and and the relationships we can share.
Speaker 2:Yeah, but the first thing to understand is what is mind, right? So I don't know if you guys are aware, but we live in two different, two separate worlds the inner world and the outer world. So what does it mean by that? It means that the inner world will be more avec your conscious mind, who you think you are, what we call your self-identity, so what kind of thought you experience, what kind of feeling you experience, what kind of action you take and behavior you have in your life. So that's your conscious mind.
Speaker 2:And there's another mind, if you want, what is called the subconscious mind. And this subconscious mind called the subconscious mind, I think, and this subconscious mind is what we're not aware of. And this subconscious mind records everything that you have been doing in your life, all your experiences, right? It's so powerful that it's a big database, if you want. And that database processes data at 11 million bits per second. And, just to give you an idea, your conscious mind, which is who you think you are, it processes information only at 11 bits per second.
Speaker 2:Can you imagine the difference, how powerful our subconscious minds are Exactly? And so what happened? So, okay, I say okay, what's causing all these problems? Right? So let's go to really what's dictating our life, right? What is there? Are we only conscious mind? And obviously we're not. That's how I discovered that there's a subconscious mind, and when I started to research that even deeper, I realized that do you know what is the part of conscious mind and what is the ratio between conscious mind and subconscious mind? It's like 5 or 10% of our mind is conscious. So that's mind-blowing. Imagine who we think we are. It's only 5 or 10% of our mind, depends who you are reading and the subconscious mind is 90 to 95% of our mind.
Speaker 1:I totally agree on this, yeah.
Speaker 2:Yeah, so that's really. That's what it's like. I say okay. So what if? Imagine Avik, what if we can have access to our subconscious mind? What if? What really is going on in our subconscious mind? And soon enough, I discover that the subconscious mind also has those programs that we get in our lives. So what do I mean by that? Let me give you an example. I think that we help our listeners to understand.
Speaker 2:So let's pretend that there's a little girl that sees the dad, as he's an alcoholic, coming back home every day and beat up her mom. So now my question what do you think that little girl's going to attract as a romantic partner down the road? What do you think, what kind of a romantic partner, what kind of man she's gonna attract? I mean, it's well, she's gonna attract an abusive yeah man. You see what I mean, because the mind has been programmed so um, that's why she's going to attract it. Right, most of people who's got abusive relationship like, they see their parents and they say, oh, that's actually what love has to be right. So, but how she's going to do that? Because that's so, what kind of program she's going to attract first? Well, she's going to attract the program that she's going to have a program in her subconscious mind that men are predator and women are prey, all right. So now the next question how she's going to attract that man. She's not going to go and say hey, shake his hand and say hey, is it okay, can you beat me up? Right? It's not going to happen that way. So it means that our subconscious man I think they are protected the subconscious man's gonna say the exactly. The subconscious man's gonna say this man and this man maybe has been bullied, and he's gonna. So he's gonna replay, replicate what he has been living and he's you want to bully a woman and? And they're going to tango. It's really a dance. You know that they engage together. You know one that is the predator again, which will be the man in that example, and the prey. She will be the woman Right.
Speaker 2:And so there's three different case of scenario for that woman, mainly so number one let's pretend she married that guy right and she can spend the rest of her life with that abusive man and not learning from it, from life experiences. Or there's a second case scenario. I think that can be oh, you know, I'm getting that man, but I'm tired of that behavior, so I'm going to divorce him. Or maybe along the way, she's got one kid with this man and after she's going to have another experience with another man and maybe along the way, through life experiences, she's going to learn, you know, that, hey, it's not this kind of man that I want. And maybe after, when she learned the lesson right, she's going to attract somebody that's totally different, a man that will be, and that's how you know that you are healed when you attract somebody that's totally different.
Speaker 2:And the first case scenario she can have been deprogrammed. She can come to see me or see somebody that does hypnotherapy, but somebody that can cut into the subconscious mind and help her to deprogram that limiting belief. Remember that program was men are predator and women are prey. And replacing that limiting belief, which is the step one of the mind clearing. Number one you delete the limiting belief and guess what Avik. Number two you download an empowering belief, which is what you want. So, basically, you delete what you don't want, you download what you want and after you create a different life. You create your life more consciously if you want. Does it make sense?
Speaker 1:Yes exactly.
Speaker 2:And what I want to say also, avik, it's like you do have limiting belief programming, but you've got empowering belief programming. For example, if somebody's dad or mom was telling the kid oh you know what you can do, whatever you put your mind into right and I will be there to support you and they're supporting you, that's an empowering belief. It's not all negative, but here's the thing when you dive deeper into the mind work and the fact of the mind, what you realize, avik, that's why so many people are sick. It's like we realize, first of all, that 80% of our thoughts are negative. Why? It's because we focus on what we don't want instead of focusing on what we want. On top of that, 90% of our thoughts are the same repetitive thoughts as the day before. So we're living in a loop with different input but the same, basically, thought, action and behavior and reaction. And on top of that, for the average person, our conscious mind has got 40,000 to 60,000 thoughts per day, never stopping thinking. We're overthinking, we are stuck in our head. We are stuck in our head, and if our head is 80% negative and 95%, we just caught up on the same repetitive loop. That's not very creative, right? And so we need to get out of that vicious circle, right. We need to break the cycle of limiting belief, and that's why it's so important to do that.
Speaker 2:And, as you know, the mind, the mental aspect of things, can affect your physical body, right, it's mind and body connection, right. But also it can affect your relationship, why you always attract the same person and why you self-sabotage in your relationship, for example, or in life in general, why, also, your prosperity is not where you want this to be. Whose limiting beliefs are holding you back, right? So the example I gave you was an example of one programming, right? So full repetition. And let's face it, from age to even zero, we can say from age zero to eight we are more like sponges. So what we see in the outer world, we are very susceptible to be programmed by that the good and the bad and the ugly, basically. And that's what's happening, yeah, exactly. And so there's a second way you can get programmed.
Speaker 2:It's called PTSD, post-traumatic syndrome, right? And so let's pretend. Let me give you an example. Let's pretend I'm in Iraq, I'm a military guy, and I pull the trigger and I shoot and I shot, I'm sorry, and I shot my best friend by accident, collateral damage Came back to the US and I'm, every night I'm dreaming I've got nightmare, should I say, and I'm waking up with, like you know, the rumble movie, right, I'm waking up like with night sweat and I'm still, you know, thinking about pulling that trigger.
Speaker 2:I feel guilt. And my people with PTSD, lots of them, their life goes down the drain, right, they're researching their divorce, you know, because they are so caught up in their negative emotion, in negative thinking, and of course they will have negative behavior, and so it's kind of like a part of my soul is still stuck in Iraq and pulling that trigger that killed my friends. I call that the past, you, so those memories are dictating my life now and sabotaging my life at so many different levels. I may get into addiction, you know, alcohol or food or whatever it is, just to cope with it, right, and I may have arguments with my wife and my kids and I may feel I'm by myself and nobody can help me and I may end up divorcing. And of course, you know, because my head is so excuse my French, I can't say that I'm French, right, so excuse my French, but it can be messed up. And after my head is so messed up, I cannot focus, I lose clarity and what's happening now? I lose the passion that I have for my job and I lose everything and everything goes down the drain and I'm ending up being even hopeless, and that's typically. I mean.
Speaker 2:There's lots of things that you see with PTSD, and PTSD is not only about military people. It can be any big trauma that you cannot handle. It's just too much. The trauma was so much that it was like interfering with all aspects of your life. So those are basically having the two main way to get our to be programmed. So now what's happening? Avik, it's our program dictating our present and molding our future. You know, I call that the subconscious stress loop. Subconscious stress loop. You caught up on this program that they run in behind the scene and you have not. You're not even aware of what they are.
Speaker 2:You know, wow, so, yes, so that's what? And we think we're all bad, we think we're making all those decisions. We think that we are in control of our life. Are we? Are we really in control of our life? Are we Are we really in control of our lives If we've got some hidden program that can sabotage us, can challenge us, can defeat us?
Speaker 2:Are we really in control? That's what I'm asking to everybody who's listening. We're not, we're not. And so, thanks God, there's a way to remedy that. Thanks God, there's a way to change everything you know. So how can we do that?
Speaker 2:Well, you know, the subconscious mind works like what? What? The interaction that you've got with your subconscious mind, that you are aware of it's when you remember a dream and Avik, what do you remember of a dream? Always, there's always a picture. There's always a picture or a movie, but there's always something that visualizes. I never hear of anybody who says I remember a dream, I remember only the smell, without a picture associated with it, never heard of it. So that's how your subconscious mind, I think, works. Works with pictures. So what if remember? Number one we need to delete the limiting belief. Number two we need to delete the limiting belief. Number two we need to download an empowering belief. And number three we need to create, you know, whatever manifest, whatever you want for your health, your relationship and your prosperity and truly anything. So how can we do that?
Speaker 2:Well, I will ask, typically, my patient to visualize what they don't want, right? So let's see, if they've got neck pain, let's make it really real here. Let's pretend they've got, let's pretend, avik, you've got neck pain, right? You have been that for years. You get some help, but it never, the healing never lasts, it always comes back, you know, and things like that. So you say, now that you understand better oh, maybe it's subconscious programming there that is affecting my neck, right? And it says so what do you do? I will ask you okay, and that's your negative picture. So the negative picture, I don't want to know what it is Like. If somebody come to see me has been killing someone in the military and just wants to release that trauma, I will never ask. It's private, it's your life, it's not my business, right? I will ask you to visualize the negative picture, right? Meaning we don't have to know what is the limiting belief.
Speaker 2:The limiting belief is the negative picture, because a picture is worth a thousand words, right? So it means there's symbolism, right with a picture, right. And so that's your picture. That's not what I'm telling you to visualize. That's very important what I'm telling you right now and after I say Avik, now what you need to do is just visualize the opposite of that picture. You know which is what you want instead of having neck pain. So, whatever, maybe you visualize you walking on the beach and having been free of pain, or maybe swimming, or maybe cycling, you know, and smelling all the. You are in a forest and smelling all that and having no neck pain. You know, while cycling, whatever it is, it's your picture, right, and after what we do?
Speaker 2:we customize the downloading, we customize the reprogramming to you and that specific picture, and after it takes an hour to do that, after the pain is gone and after it takes an hour to do that after the pain is gone and if it comes back, because some people say, oh well, you know, if it comes back, oh, it didn't work, because it comes back, it means that you've got more resistance. For example, if you're fine after the treatment, one treatment, right After, if you're fanatic and you're going to your car and the neck hurt again, guess what? We visualize you getting into the car and treat that, Deleting that picture and replacing it with a different picture of your choice. That will be the opposite of you going into your car and having pain. Those are only resistance or triggers. If you will, that re-trigger that program, right? So it means it's not totally deleted. So that's a very positive thing. You want to make sure that if it comes back, you say, oh okay, I did address something else.
Speaker 1:Does it make sense to you? Exactly, exactly, makes sense. Yeah, please, please, please continue no, no, no, no go ahead. No, no, I was just saying, I was just saying like it's, it's very powerful because so many of us think that we are so unlucky or maybe we are not good enough, when in reality we are actually running an outdated program in our subconscious.
Speaker 2:I mean, if I mentioned Exactly and what I really want to stress out in a good way positive stress, right. It's like we are so powerful I think we don't realize how powerful we are. Given the right technology, we tap into our subconscious mind, we can heal ourselves. Because it's not, it's you, avic, that have the neck pain. You, avic, we did change the picture. Who, avic? We did the downloading with my guidance, you know, but you are doing it. It's not me who's sending you energy, it's not me that that do anything. I'm just guiding you, I'm just helping you, because it's hard to see our flaws, our personal flaws, right. But I treat myself. I'm going to give you an example.
Speaker 2:I had, like I do martial art, right, so I hurt my ankle, but the back of my ankle is called the Achilles tendon, and so I did reprogram myself and I was 70% better. So I knew there was something else. And I was 70% better. So I knew there was something else. So I asked myself Alan, I've been a doctor for 28 years, so I know really lots of different things that can create pain, right. And so I said what do you think is causing it? I said, oh, maybe it's inflamed. And guess what? I treated myself for inflammation. So I visualized a picture in which I had inflammation in my ankle and I visualized the opposite. I I had inflammation in my ankle and I visualized the opposite. I did the reprogramming and guess what happened after? The pain was totally gone and never came back. Never came back. So look how crazy it is. It's what we think is causing the problem. That is a part of the problem.
Speaker 1:Isn't it?
Speaker 2:mind-blowing.
Speaker 1:So it means it is really mind-blowing.
Speaker 2:Yeah. It means that if you go to a doctor and you've got a knee problem and the doctor says, oh, it's arthritis, right, and you believe it, yeah, right, and he says it's arthritis and you need to have a surgery, you need to have a total knee replacement you can go to and let's see, and your wife say, oh, you know what I heard about this guy, that's really good work, try it. More than likely it's not going to work. Why, even if the guy is very good, it doesn't matter, because if you truly believe that you need a knee surgery, nothing's going to work because you're going to have that program and that belief, that limiting belief that the only things that can help me is the knee surgery because your dad had a knee surgery and it worked for him and the doctor reinforced that belief exactly.
Speaker 1:Wow, I don't know. I mean, if you're not aware of it, we just keep repeating the same patterns, whether in the love career, even health, or maybe other things also. So, yeah, that's just really great help. Thank you so much for sharing this.
Speaker 2:It's really, really great for my pleasure, you know, because it changed my life and I want this to to be accessible to other people. I want it's the dream, right, the vision that I've got. It's like in every town there's a mind clearing practitioner that can help you, you know, to get rid of whatever you don't like in your life and rewrite, like you said, rewrite the script of your life Because, yes, I want this to be a very positive things for people. Yes, it's possible to change and it doesn't have to take lots of time, like if you do talk therapy. For example, if your mental health is not right, you're going to do talk therapy. Well, talk therapy is going to focus on what kind of mind? Your subconscious or your conscious mind? Your conscious mind, which is only five or ten percent of your mind power and your brain power. So I'm asking you, do you want to be able to be helped with hundred percent of your mind power or ten percent of your mind power? Always?
Speaker 1:hundred percent yes yes yeah, great, great, lovely, and and um also. One more thing is like a lot of high viewers feel like they're, uh, running on a treadmill and walking harder, but never feeling fulfilled. So how does clearing the subconscious help unlock true success and the prosperity yeah.
Speaker 2:So first of all, you just want to know what is success, right? So you just the hardest things for people. Sometimes I know it sounds crazy what I'm going to tell you, but I've been like again like 28 years, like 4 000 and and patient, so I've got some experience with it right. And so what I've seen, I say what do you want? Sometimes they just don know. They know what they don't want oh, I don't want the pen, I don't want this, and I understand that's how the system is set up, right. But when you ask them truly what you want, sometimes they pause, sometimes they are blank, sometimes they don't know.
Speaker 2:So the first thing, you want to know what you want, right, and that seems to be so basic, but it's important. And so you're basically telling me I'm point A, I don't want to go to point B, right, this is what I want, okay. So let's pretend for point A, between A and B there's limiting belief that can prevent you to reach point B, right? And so, obviously, what you want to do, you want to release with programming that prevents you to get what you want, and so how you do that it's called, it's on the goal and success clearing. It's a part of the things that I teach right, and so what you do, that first of all, you want to make sure that you deprogram any limiting belief that you, that you have to um to your goal. So give me a concrete goal. I I can take that as an example. Give me an example. What would be the goal of that person?
Speaker 1:For that person. Yeah, it could be like maybe, okay, that's a very common goal, basically. So what happens I mean, it sounds, it might sound silly sometimes what happens like during some festive season, right, or maybe during some kind of some gatherings time? Also, we prefer to have a good shape, good physique and all. So I need to achieve this in three months. I need to achieve this in two months.
Speaker 2:So kind of this. That's a very good example, and we all have been through that, right, we all have some extra pound to lose, for sure, but so well? So let me introduce what I call the triangle of limiting belief. So imagine a triangle, avik, and inside that triangle you've got the limiting belief, your subconscious mind. Right On top of a triangle, you've got your conscious thought. On the right corner you've got your conscious emotion, your emotion, and on the left side of a triangle you've got your behavior and action. So, if you've got a limiting belief, what's going to happen? You're going to have negative thought, you're going to have overwhelming emotion and you're going to have undesirable behavior and you're not going to have a good outcome, right? So that's the limiting belief.
Speaker 2:So, for example, in the case of starting a diet, let's see, uh, it's christmas time, right. And so I say, oh man, you know, I need, really, I need to take this picture, that video, I need to lose some weight, right? And so your thought is to lose some weight. That your emotions say, oh man, it's gonna be hard last time. That, uh, you know, uh, I just don't feel it's the right time. Or you know you're gonna, you're not gonna feel good about it, right, and after, of course, you're not gonna maybe not even start the diet right, or you're gonna. You're gonna put yourself in some sabotage situation in which you're going to go to a party when you know there's food you cannot eat, right.
Speaker 2:So what I'm trying to say it's like, because you've got limiting belief, your thought, your emotion and your behavior and action are not aligned. You see, when your thought and your emotion and your behavior are aligned, you're going to accomplish anything you want. That's the problem. They're not aligned. So when we download the empowering belief, right, so imagine the empowering belief at the center of a triangle. So you're going to have positive thought now about dieting Right. Oh yeah, I'm really ready, I really want to do that, and, and after, you're going to have supportive emotion to do that. Oh, I feel good about eating. I'm going to benefit so much, you know, and my wife's going to love me to see me like that, in such a good shape. And so you're going to take the action and, more than likely, you're going to succeed and lose the weight and reach your goal. Does it make sense to you?
Speaker 1:Exactly makes sense.
Speaker 2:Yes, yes, and so because why you were able to be successful is because your thought, your I'm sorry, your emotion and your belief and action were aligned. They call that coherence, so it means you are coherent. So your thought, your emotion and your behavior, and therefore your outcome, they all are aligned and that's how you're more than likely to reach that. So, like for people they want to reach a goal, in general what you want, step number one you want to get rid of the limiting belief that are in between point and point b, what you want to reach, and after, you want to take a small step, right, that you can check in one week, let's. Maybe I need to make a 24th call to this kind of people, right? So you make this 24th call and maybe only 10 people answer, right, and with 10 people answer five, maybe one help you. And so you don't feel good about it, right? Sorry, evick. So you don't feel good about it. So what are you going to do? You're going to reprogram that not feeling good. So, so you don't feel good about it. So what are you going to do? You're going to reprogram that not feeling good. So that's a resistance along your way, right? And so what's going to happen. You're going to reprogram that which is going to allow you to stay positive right, to have a positive thought, to have a supportive emotion and the desirable action to go away. And on top of that, you're going to raise your vibration, you're going to have more clarity, you're going to have more focus, because whatever resistance you have are not there any longer, because we always have a preconceived idea oh, I'm going to reach my goal, I'm going to have to do this and that, and that's not necessarily true, but that's how we start with right. So when you make a step, and after you have, you've got more focus and clarity because you did reprogram whose resistance you maybe you're going to course correct, uh, your action, and you're going to do something different because you're going to say, oh yeah, now I'm more open-minded and some other possibility shows up to me and maybe I should do that, and so you're going to slightly go a different way and you're going to take another step again and check it out.
Speaker 2:If there's something you didn't like or that was not resonating or was negative maybe you had negative thought during that next step you're going to correct that by deleting and reprogramming your subconscious programming and you're going to have more focus and clarity and maybe you're going to do something else that you didn't think before. And this is the key right. When you can do that, you can assess and address your. You still have the same goal, but you're going to maybe proceed differently. Maybe your action is going to be different, maybe your behavior is going to be different, because the good news remember, avik, we were talking about you having the neck pain that when we do all that reprogramming, it's not only about your neck pain, that reprogramming can maybe affect the rest of your being Exactly, you see. So it can affect your health, it can affect your relationship, it can affect your prosperity, it can affect everything, because we treat you as a whole.
Speaker 1:True, very true, yeah, amazing. I mean that's so, so lovely. I mean I have to say, dr Sayal, I mean it's a great conversation. There are a lot of things we have learned today and I know the time is constrained but I'd love to continue and go on and on but I'll have to take a a wrap. But if you could challenge our listeners to take one step towards breaking their own subconscious limitations today, what that would be.
Speaker 2:I mean, if you just well, what it will be is like you can I mean if you want to experience it, because you know, you know we can talk about it forever. It will take an hour and like that, you can experience Because it doesn't take forever. You just take one, two visits, for pain, like I said, depends if you've got resistance that shows up, but you will feel better right away, you will be more optimistic, you will be more positive, you have more positive thoughts, you will have more positive emotion and you will be more positive, you have more positive thoughts, you will have more positive emotion and you will have more positive behavior. So I think the best way is just to experience it right. And so you again, you can go into, like themanglingcom, go into contact, can check.
Speaker 2:There's a ton of uh, of uh information that I put there because I'm a doctor and doctor means teacher. So for me it's very important to teach people and to empower people to be the best version of themselves. And you can go there and there's a jot form, or you can shoot me an email and again, you can do that online because you are doing the healing. I'm just here to guide you and help you, obviously to do the reprogramming, but you know that's the best way. You know, just to experience it right and see if people imagine Avik, that you can learn that technique not only for yourself, but you help your loved one.
Speaker 2:I don't know if you've got kids or you've got some loved one, for sure, and you can help them to treat their ailment. You know you can help them, for if they are angry, they've got grief, they've got everything and you can help them very quickly. So that's what that's the vision right there, like you can empower yourself, not to heal yourself only, but to help other people, and that will have a domino effect on the entire planet. And because when we get rid of those limiting beliefs, that's true transformation in my book, wow amazing, I have to say that's that's really lovely.
