The Fairy Elephant Effect
Welcome to The Fairy Elephant Effect Podcast, a space where we’ll explore the powerful, often hidden influences that shape our lives. Each week, we’ll dive into themes from my book, The Fairy Elephant Effect, as well as other topics that help us unpack how our experiences and beliefs shape the lives we live. Together, we’ll examine how words and actions—both our own and those of others—can leave lasting imprints, holding us back from living authentically and fully. Once a month, we’ll feature an inspiring interview with someone who has navigated their own journey of transformation and healing.
My mission is to support you in creating a life you truly love, where you not only love yourself but also truly like and accept every part of who you are.

SpeakerHello and welcome to the Fairy Elephant Effect Podcast today. How are you going? Let's have a conversation about you today. What are the things that's been happening for you that is making your life better? What are the things that are happening that could be getting you to a new corner? You know, our habits are the things that we get up and uh, we automatically are in the zone of what is your habit today was your habit to get up and to think positive thoughts. Was your habit to get up and start worrying, because both of those things leave a big impression on your life and on your emotional story, on your nervous system and how you move through the day, your week, your month, and your year. And in saying that, I want to introduce to you a little interrupter. That could help you to reorganize what it is you want to be having or doing or being in your life. And this is just a small little thing where you could perhaps start bringing into your life and also recognizing the things that you really want. If you could, I would love you to be able to spend up to five minutes. It could be just two minutes to start with in a day sitting in a chair, just somewhere sitting in your calf. It's on your work break or anywhere where you can have a couple of undisturbed minutes. These minutes will become a gift to you. If you use them wisely, how many people are just getting to lunchtime or in their breaks are scrolling on your phone? Put it down. Take two to five minutes and start creating your life from the inside. So I would like you to be able to shut your eyes, take a breath. Take another breath in and out. And then I want you either in pictures, sound words, smells to imagine what your perfect day is. What does it look like? Is it fabulous? I. What kind of house are you living in? What's the environment like? Are you waking up in a beautiful bedroom? Is life feeling, oh, just so good? You are waking up your body's good. Are you thinking your body for being your lifelong companion? Are you so grateful for your body? Do you get outta bed with ease and excitement? And confidence that today will be good. Who are you with? Is there somebody in the house? Are there animals in the house or do you have a partner or children or people, guests staying? Whatever. Whatever is perfect for you. This is your perfect day. So do you have breakfast? What does your kitchen look like? Do you have a view out your window? Is it the house that you've always wanted to live in? Is it the place that you've always wanted to be? How do you spend your morning? Do you work at home? Do you work in an office? Do you not work at all? Are you traveling? Where are you lunchtime? Are you having lunch on your own? What's the food like? How does it make you feel? Afternoon? What are you doing in your afternoons? Have you had time to move your body today? I'm not gonna say exercise. I'm gonna say movement. The more we move our body, the better our body feels. Have you incorporate that into your day so far? Maybe you do it in the evening, maybe you do it after lunch, maybe you do it in the morning. Where is that in your perfect day? And then I would like you. To, it's the end of the day. You're having dinner. Are you going out for dinner? Do you have your family with you? Is there someone special with you? Who are you eating with? How is that feeling? And after dinner, are you watching TV with somebody you like? Are you reading a book? Are you going out? This is your perfect day. Imagine it. Feel it, see it, smell it. Bring all your senses into this. And of course, the more you do this, the more vivid and the more tangible it becomes unless we start to allow our imagination, which Albert Einstein has, you know, quoted. Imagination is the place of creation. And we have been told to look at just the physical stuff or the stuff that's happening, be rational all the time. I'm asking you to imagine your perfect day. And then when you've got this down a bit, I want you to start imagin your perfect week because you are creating your life on the inside out, and you are also answering some questions for yourself. Because when you start spending two to five minutes every day imagining what your perfect day is, what are you bringing in? Your inside, your container, your soul connection will start to reveal to you what you really want to do, be and have. I like to think this has been helpful today, and if it has, let me know. Let me know how you are getting on creating your life from the inside out. I love this interrupter pattern because it interrupted my old patterns and started to change my life, and I'm able to have some perfect days, and I've even had some close to some perfect weeks. And the more I do it, the more it allows myself to realize the things that I'm allowed to have in my life, the way I'm allowed to feel about myself, about the way I move in the world. Have a great day. See you next week.
