Alex Feigen Fasteau
Alex Feigen Fasteau was the Director of Public Accountability under the leadership of former District Attorney Pamela Price in Alameda County. They are a 25-year veteran prosecutor trained in the San Francisco DA's office where they prosecuted economic crimes, consumer protection crimes, child abduction, child sexual assault, domestic violence, murders, gun violence and police misconduct.
DA Feigen Fasteau was fired by the interim District Attorney within the first two weeks of her administration. There was no consideration given to his record of success, and the unit he headed was immediately disbanded. Today, he works exclusively as a plaintiffs-side civil rights lawyer, prosecuting law enforcement cases with a focus on Sheriff's in-custody deaths. He is an associate in the law office of Sanjay S. Schmidt in San Francisco.
