Michèle is the Creative Director of Powertex UK and a seasoned artisan with over 25 years of experience in bespoke craftsmanship and creative education. Starting her journey as a qualified Saddler, Michèle evolved her career to become a Certified Powertex Tutor and a leading figure in the mixed media arts community.

With a deep passion for artistry and innovation, she has dedicated herself to exploring the limitless possibilities of Powertex and sharing her expertise with others. From her time as a hands-on creator to her role as a business leader, Michèle combines technical know-how with a flair for inspiring creativity.

Through Inside the Studio: The Powertex Mixed Media Podcast, Michèle brings her wealth of experience to the microphone, offering listeners an engaging blend of artistic insights, personal stories, and a deep dive into the world of Powertex and mixed media art.

Joanne Smith - Floral Steam

Jo Smith is the artist behind FloralSteam, creating distinctive mixed media artwork and sculptures inspired by nature, florals and a touch of steampunk. Working with Powertex, she combines texture, imagination and storytelling to produce pieces that celebrate creativity and individuality.

Based near Lockerbie in south-west Scotland, Jo also hosts welcoming, hands-on workshops where artists of all abilities are encouraged to experiment, build confidence and discover the joy of creating.
