What the F - From Infertility Exhaustion to Peace
Welcome to 'What the F - From Infertility Exhaustion to Peace' podcast.
Hi. I'm Tina. After my own four year IVF journey and having a baby at 42 years old (through IVF) I knew that my purpose in this world was to support other women on this journey too. I know what it feels like to be overwhelmed, lost in your thoughts, and alone during IVF. That’s why I’m here—to help you not feel alone.
During my own IVF journey, I discovered the power of simple yet effective tools to cope with the emotional highs and lows, rewire my thoughts, and heal from the trauma. What I needed then, and what I’m offering you now, is a safe space to explore your fears, anxieties, struggles and beliefs that may be holding you back with someone who truly understands.
At the same time I was going through my IVF treatment, I trained to become a Master NLP Practitioner and Life Coach, with over 400+ hours of practical training and 1:1 coaching with so many women. Now, I’m using everything I’ve learned to guide you through this podcast. This is a space where honest, real conversations will inspire you to move forward, especially when you feel stuck.
I really want to help you find peace, balance and self-kindness on your fertility journey. Wherever you are in your process, this podcast is about finding hope, rebuilding belief in yourself, and showing kindness to your mind and body.
I hope my words offer comfort, insight, and the support you need to transform your inner voice and find calmness. Sending love and hugs to you all.

Ep. 28 - Infertility and emotional disconnect: when your husband doesn’t quite get it
In today’s episode, we’re talking about a topic that comes up often in the fertility journey, feeling like you're carrying the emotional load of infertility alone, especially when your husband doesn’t quite get it.
Infertility can leave you feeling isolated and disconnected, especially when your partner doesn't seem to understand the emotional and physical toll it's taking on you. But it’s not always about them not caring. Often, it’s about the way men process their emotions, and the cultural and societal expectations that shape how they show support.
In this episode, I talk about:
- The emotional disconnect that happens in infertility, and why it’s so common.
- What might be going on in your partner's mind when they seem “too casual” about the whole thing.
- A powerful NLP tool called Perceptual Positioning that can help you see things from your partner's perspective and build empathy.
- And share practical tips on how to create more empathy and communication with your partner.
- Why you don’t have to go through this journey alone and how understanding each other’s emotional experience can make a huge difference.
If you’ve been feeling frustrated, isolated, or disconnected from your partner in your fertility journey, this episode will provide insight, tools, and encouragement to help you communicate better and feel supported along the way.
