Hey beautiful souls, welcome back to What the F – From Infertility Exhaustion to Peace. I’m Tina, and in this episode, we’re talking about the frustrating things that people say...friends, family, people close to you. colleagues etc.

You know the ones I mean around "just relax it'll happen when you least expect or when you're not trying so hard" or, "take one of mine they're all driving me up the wall" or my favourite ones from family "My cousin's cousin's sister's friend was doing IVF for years and stopped and then she got pregnant naturally"...yes we've heard it all before but that doesn't mean it doesn't hurt, make us feel misunderstood or frustrated.

In this episode, I share practical ways to respond without losing your shi* but also share some practices around how to protect your own energy and boundaries around:

  • Understanding that it's completely normal to feel triggered by frustrating comments.
  • Knowing that You don’t have to respond perfectly or at all if you don’t want to.
  • How to shift your mindset around some of these comment and protect yourself.
  • And how to use practical tools like visualisation to help bring inner peace when everything else around you is triggering.

Tune in, and find out more about protecting yourself and your energy during such a tough rough journey.
