So you say yes when you mean no. You overextend yourself. You put everyone else's needs before your own. And you're exhausted.

THE 3 LEVELS OF BOUNDARIES:

1. SOFT BOUNDARY (The Conversation)
Clear communication with flexibility. Example: "I'm happy to help, but I can only give you two hours this week."

2. MEDIUM BOUNDARY (Limited Access)
Firmer line, less negotiation. Example: "I don't take calls after 6pm anymore."

3. HARD BOUNDARY (The Brick Wall)
Complete removal, non-negotiable. Example: "I'm no longer working with clients who don't respect my process."

The skill is knowing which level the situation needs—and not mis-diagnosing.
